I've read recently that there may be trouble brewing for TLC, and for the Assaulter. People are outraged that they allowed this abuse to go on for so long, and then to let it escalate to this point, for the sake of ratings. Keep looking out, I hope it blows up, and heads roll. Nobody deserves what Michael has endured since arriving State side. It's shameful, that no one came to his defence. Absolutely shameful. And then Thais laughing on the stairs, I hope her and Patrick get the boot next. They bring nothing to the table.
It was so obvious that Angela intended to keep Michael isolated and totally dependent on her because she knows darn well, nobody in their right mind would ever actually choose to be with her. The way she treated him was appalling and I'm disgusted that TLC never intervened to protect him.

It was a loaded question, she was hoping he would give more insight into him wanting to get to the US by any means… but he is a Nigerian Yoruba man, he would have never revealed something like that in casual convo. Angela was angry as she knew deep down he was using her for the green card, but she should have never been physical with him… it also showed that she was using him too, wanting a little puppy to bully. Mad but not uncommon in these situations unfortunately.

I'm not a big fan of the questioning. We've witnessed him being talked down to, spat, destruction of his property, disrespected, ALL signs of domestic violence. And asking him "why did you stay, why would you let yourself be treated this way.. etc" was extremely uncomfortable.
The whole time I was imagining this interview with the roles reversed. I was increasingly getting more uncomfortable. It really goes to show the difference in treatment between male and female victims when it comes to domestic abuse.

When I was with my malignant narcissist EX, he did some strange things. I caught him asking my dad who was his beneficiary, this was right after his own father passed away, he was his father's beneficiary and got $15,000. Come to find out his father did not know about this life insurance. Can anyone get life insurance on me without me knowing? Is this real?
He never gave his brothers anything. I was livid when he said to my father that I should be one of his beneficiaries. Like what the fucccc. I found out that he went through my paperwork at some point, I think when I spent the night at his house he went through a folder where I had legal documents that I was going through that night, one set of documents were my lawsuit against Bayer pharmaceutical company $75,000. He told his family that I would help him start up a tow truck company when I win the settlement. I never knew about a tow truck company, I never talked to him about this lawsuit.
I feel like he was in for the money. It was so weird that he didn't have Facebook, he created a Facebook and posted that he was engaged with me. He became my Facebook friend by getting on my phone and approving his friend request. I found out through hundreds of congratulation notifications. I spent a few nights at his house one weekend, it was so creepy, he tapped me on my leg when I was sleeping to ask if I wanted to drink water, I didn't want to be mean so I took a sip and he asked me to drink more. I went back to sleep and woke up with no clothes in the other room having a heart attack, yeah. What I'm getting to is that I looked up information how someone can get a life insurance policy for me without knowing, when I went to clear out my search history, I decided to look at his tablet search history, well and behold, can you search how to purchase life insurance for a non-spouse non-relative person living in his home. Mind you he never put a ring on my finger he just posted it, also I did not live with him. I cut ties right there and then. And he told me if I leave him he was going to post a sexx video. True story, I couldn't make this s*** up if I wanted to.
It's not a bad thing to talk to your parents or your spouse or family member about life insurance. It should be a healthy conversation.

However, I also take in to consideration that he was in a desperate situation, in a developing country with no real way to make a decent living. He wanted the American dream and he did whatever he needed to do to obtain his dreams. I’m not saying it’s right, but he also didn’t deserve the level of abuse and humiliation fromfrom Angela.
If he is allowed to stay , I truly hope he can make something of himself and put back what he has taken to sort of satisfy karma. If that makes sense.

TLC called hotel security on him when he took HIS phone away from Angela, but sat back and watched him be hit, spit on, have drinks and cake thrown in he face. Not to mention destroying his car. If Michael would have just grabbed Angela once, he would have been fired by the show and they would have put up disclaimers and abuse hotline numbers. This is why men never report when they are abused, it's seen as a joke.

She was loud and obnoxious on there as well and it turned out her daughter's baby daddy was the daddy so I think Angela just wanted to be on TV.

Advertisements do not only show up based on what you're looking at. If someone is in the same room as your phone talking about something, the ad will pop up later. It has happened to me multiple times.
FACTS !! i get all sorts of things popping up that I have never looked for. If there information is on public sites the ads come period, whether you search or not.

As an African who visited America, I can relate with this fear. You barely know the law and someone is constantly threatening you with outbursts which might lead to them calling the cops on you. There’s a fear that you learn to leave by or decide to run and never look back. Whatever this man has to say, he’s done the time, give him that Green Card!!!
If you're a foreigner guy in the US, you have to be careful involving yourself with American women. I knew a guy who came here from Gabon to study, and he ended up shot to death. The investigation didn't get anywhere, but around the campus people suspected his American girlfriend. Another African had to leave the country because his American girlfriend was calling the police on him after she'd found out that he had a wife back home.
