Wow I just discovered your channel and love it. Really enjoyed the blackbird charts. I have also been collecting, but only the last 2 years since I started stitching again. I mainly stitch Blackbird designs. I have made many of their quilts. Look forward to your next floss tube.

I stitched the sampler from And Blossoms as the Rose. It’s my most favorite piece of everything I’ve done. I personalized it with my initials, my husband’s and our three sons’.

Love seeing your patriotic finishes. Blackbird walk thru is fantastic. How do you stitch with the colour & cotton? Do you complete the cross for each stitch or do half of the cross in a roll & return to complete the cross? TFS.

I do both. Sometimes I do full stitches and sometimes I do half a row and then half on the way back.

If you’re talking about the aqua one, it was Nessie from Picture this Plus. If it was the neutral it was Travertine from Colour and Cotton

Do you live in Texas?
I’m just hearing about the Waco retreat from your Flosstube and I am about 1 1/2 hrs away from Waco. I hope I’m able to go, I have never been to a retreat other than quilting retreats.

I live in Oklahoma! Waco isn’t very far. 4 1/2 hours I think!
