As always, I love seeing what you are working on. All things beautiful! Sure hope you are feeling better and enjoying the quilt retreat and activities you had planned. Take care. Happy stitching!
So glad you are on the mend from Covid. Have fun with all of your ladies, the quilt show, the girls weekend and fiber festival. I look forward to the next video with all that you have to share with us.
Your retreat sounded fun, sorry about the covid, great stitching projects, beautiful fabrics and bags, your craft group sounds wonderful, love your knitting and wow on your quilting, look after yourself Thankyou for sharing 🇳🇿❤️🪡
So good seeing you today and sorry you have been ill. Thank you for sharing all the goodness you have been up to. Have fun at your retreat and looking forward to hearing about it. Take care ❤
So very glad you are back and recovering from that nasty Covid, it is no joke…I have tried to organize my floss and have put hooks, 30 of them on the inside of my closet door since I stitch in my bedroom the most. That took care of the fancy floss in alphabetical order….now I have to tackle my DMC, ugh….hoping you will share some tips. Love the bags you are using for your knitting and will look forward to a video on the making. Such an inspiration and always love your kitties and the background around your home, so peaceful, take care and happy stitching/sewing 🪡🧵🥰😻
Another totally fun video full of so much stitchy goodness! I love your stars so much that I might have to add those to my ‘must do’ list. Continue to feel better! Enjoy your upcoming fun times with friends…it’s food for the soul. 💕
Oh my, I was just thinking about you and almost sent an email to see if everything is ok 🩷. It's SO GOOD to see your flosstube pop up!!! I love the diamond hand piecing quilt ❣️ You're inspiring me to start my Grandmother's Flower Garden hexie quilt. I've been collecting reproduction charm packs.... one flower a day.... sounds like a plan 😉 Glad you are feeling better and have fun with your quilt friends 💞
It was great to talk to you in Amana! I got Covid a couple days after I got home, too. First time for me - I’ve managed to dodge it before. Glad we’re both getting over it. Have fun at the Sisters show. Love your hand-piecing project!
Love the music on your video. So sorry you got Covid, hope you are feeling better. Nice goodies you received. Great haul & future projects. The kitties sound sassy in the background! 😀 Marilyn
I did the same thing: unkitted the patterns I knew I did not want to do, and had the job of reorganizing. Time consuming, but worth it. Now I have a whole new list of WIPs and most are kitted with fabric, but I decided to just pull the fiber as I go. I had Covid in 2021 and RSV this past December. Stay away from RSV -- very ugly pulmonary virus. I am writing from my hospital bed, mostly because I have pulmonary fibrosis and asthma -- yeah, living in the high altitude would be wonderful, but would end my breathing. Love all your proects. I will get back to my 100+ WIPs soon enough. I just have to be able to walk and breath at the same time. 😁
Ohh my gosh! Sending you ALL the healing vibes and wishes. I have a compromised immune from cancer, so it’s taking a while to get over this. So sorry about your situation. I’ve always had respiratory issues (both my parents heavily smoked), but the mountain air really agrees with me. I lived at sea level most my life and it was alright, but as soon as I came to the mountains; I was able to breath deeply. Wishing you lots of stitching soon!
Lori, I am so sorry you have been ill. Covid is such a strange illness…..affects each person differently. I love your stars! They…..and your cats……are beautiful. I loved seeing the back of the one……beautifully stitched!!!! Take care! Carol in Texas
Lori ❤ knitting projects are beautiful! Tote bags are amazing. Sorry you got sick hope you are feeling alot better.I am really intetested when you show the log cabin stamp! That sounds really cool.I was wondering if you had found a spinning wheel yet! Where I live they have a fiber festival. I know you have alot to do but be careful & don't over do it. Enjoy all your events coming up.Thanks for sharing as always it was wonderful.Kiss the kittys for me❤
Thanks so much Barbara! Which fiber festival is near you? There are several here on the West coast. I haven’t found the right wheel yet, but I know it will show up!
We all have different tastes which makes us unique . But.....not crazy about the frame as they seem like they are fighting to be the star. Your work is so beautiful and needs to shine. That said I really enjoy your videos.
Lori I am just recovering from COVID which has definitely slowed me down on moving from Spain back to Seattle area. When I return perhaps you can give me tips on best place to sell much of my fabric. All is from quilt shops. Embarrassed to say I have 52 large storage containers full. Look forward to returning and hope you are better by the time you read this
So sorry you have not been feeling well. It sounds like you have too much going on to feel less than 100%! Thank you for sharing the great fun you had at retreat and all of your haul. Your knitting is wonderful, it’s such a great hobby but not when the summertime temps arrive. The retreat that you are organizing around the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show is a perfect time for you to get together with friends. Take care and feel better soon!
Hi Lori, so happy to see a new floss tube from you. After watching you every day for Vlogmas, I was thinking where is that Lori. Sorry to hear you have been sick but glad you are feeling better. Enjoy your retreat week coming up and special trips you will be taking. Can't wait to hear everything about them. Enjoy your time with friends. ♥🤗
Just adore your projects, both Xstitch and quilting!! It's amazing that it's June already! Have fun with your retreat and at the show! I will have to make the trip to QA and the Quilt Show again! Now that I've gone once, I "know" what I'm missing and it gives me serious FOMO. However, this year is PNWSS year, so I'm counting down the days!! Hugs from NE Ohio.
Always enjoy your videos Lori. Loved your haul and all your fun projects. Quilt show is right around the corner and your neck of the woods will be hopping! Have fun see you soon.
The retreat was fun I’m sure. You brought home a lot of goodies!! Your stitching and bags and quilts and soon to happen sewing projects are wonderful!! Sounds like a lot of preparation coming up for you!!! You’ll enjoy it all!! See you later.
Glad to see you back, and Covid is no joke. So glad you are on the mend, especially with all your upcoming events. Do you have a pattern name for the crochet blanket for your granddaughter! Is it just a large granny square? Adorable.
Love your flosstube thank you ! Your project bags are always stunning ! Do you know the name of the song in your intro ? I love it every time ! Have a beautiful stitchy summer ! 🧡 Marine
Hi Lori!! I’ve missed you! I’ve been watching some of your older flosstube videos. I am so sorry you’re dealing with COVID. Didn’t you have COVID a few months ago? I may be confused because of seeing older videos and I know Elizabethanncanstich had COVID after a trip recently. Anyway…The Silver Needle has several of the Sampler Not Forgotten Kits. They have models of so many and I’m wanting to get a couple of kits. You might check their website to see if they have the one you’re looking for..or even give them a call. Or I can ask next time I go…they are only about 5 miles from my house. Thanks for another great video!!
So good to see you again! I’m so sorry to hear that you had Covid. That just doesn’t seem to go away does it? What a nice score on the floss game 🙌🏼. Pretty projects. Have fun with your retreat, stay safe and be healthy. 💞
You can see all her work on SamplersNotForgotten.com. Most any local needlework shop carry them. I know Acorns and Threads, Silver Needle and Country Sampler carry her kits. Country Sampler also does thread conversions of her kits which are really awesome.
Was just looking at your 2 red threads a day piece and I gave to ask why there is no “J” in it?? Seems lots of these alphabet types of stitching has no “I” or “J” in them. Any idea why?
Many early samplers do not have the letters “J” and “U” in their alphabets because they were not part of the early Latin alphabet and so the letter “I” was used for “J” and the “V” for “U.” The letter “s” is often replaced with the printers “s” which looks like the modern f.
Your knitting is amazing. Always love to see your projects. 😊
Thank you! 😊
As always, I love seeing what you are working on. All things beautiful! Sure hope you are feeling better and enjoying the quilt retreat and activities you had planned. Take care. Happy stitching!
So glad you're on the mend. Always love all your work, it inspires me to get busy. Take care.

Thanks so much for the input! I may still look around and the great thing about it being a standard size is I can switch it out at any time!

Hi Marine! It’s so nice to hear from you. It’s called Blue Mountains by Gabriel Witcher. It’s part of the iMovie free audio collection.
