New England in the fall?!? Yes, please. I'm talking my husband into this as I type, lol! The tree piece being finished as a strawberry. Brilliant! Instead of a strawberry topper, a tree skirt with a weight bottom. It can be a stand up. I was just on October House's site this morning, (She's having a yarn sale). I'll be joining this SAL :)

We broke down and bought a small generator a few years ago, but we've yet to use it. If the power is only going to be out for a few hours it doesn't seem worth the hassle of setting up! 😉

It is a labor of love. I started it in July 2021 and planned on finishing by end of this year. Not likely but close, backstitching on 1/4 left to finish.

Your Christmas Tiny Town looks great! The picture of that Evergreen Sampler in the holiday book doesn't do it justice. The colors on yours are so pretty. I'm excited for this SAL. I've loved the chart since it came out. What a great choice! Will you or Carla be listing the DMCs you'll be using or are they already on the chart? That's too bad about WDW Cayenne. That red on the berry is everything! Did you mention what count you're stitching it on? We dodged snow with that pre-Christmas storm as well. Lots of rain and wind, but I can't imagine what it would have been like if that rain was snow. In all the craziness before school ended, I must have missed a video, so I will go back and hunt for it. Either that, or I was just nuts (which is entirely possible), because I don't remember seeing the math teacher ornament that you did. I've been dying of curiosity to see what you ended up stitching for that, lol! I can picture the little snowman tags, but not that last one..... So far this break, I have been spending a lot of time catching up on missed Flosstube while I try to clean and organize my stash. It's kind of working......🤣! Have a great couple of weeks! 1, 2
You didn't miss it, it was a down to the wire finish! 🤣 We couldn't come up with a mathy design this year so instead I did a Mill Hill popcorn kit. The math teacher makes them popcorn during Math Team.
