Cottrell Car trailer caught fire with load. Destroyed 4 vehicles, trailer melted.

Car trailer caught fire outside Adesa in Tracy California. Fire destroyed trailer and four cars.
Driver was able to disconnect truck, truck was not damaged.

He wasn't gonna off load, at least not yet, his ramps are out bc he was lazy to bring them in to just behind the rear wheels.

I Have a close friend who had his truck same thing happened to him his breaks starter smoking causing it to catch fire and burn 5 cars on his trailer.
That's why big companies stay on top of inspection because it can happen to anyone.

Yes maintenance is important, I do pre trips and post trips. I also use a temperature gun to check bearing temperatures especially in hot weather.
