Honestly, I feel like this is a chase for “right tool for the job “. All I’m saying is, I’m waiting for the final boss where we get a set up with a toterhome and matching trailer lol
It takes trying things to truly learn what works. The ford with the old trailer was a great setup. We ran it for a long time. But I hated having a truck payment and when it failed and we had the first hand experience of that whole process with a newer truck. I decided to get back into something I own outright. We also learned that with a gooseneck. If you break down. You’re kinda screwed because it’s very hard to rent a truck that’ll tow a gooseneck. It’s about evolving and changing from what you learn along the way. I got my old trailer and built it out around my miata and what I would bring to the event with it. Which doesn’t quite equate to the vettes program. Etc etc.
Another nice feature about a tonged pulled trailer is you can still use the bed of the truck for stuff and have a camper top to make it water proof if need

It’s just one of those things. You learn as you go and experience things. Goosenecks for example. I said I would never own a non gooseneck enclosed. But then we broke down with a gooseneck and couldn’t find a truck anywhere to rent that could tow it. Lesson learned. Also for all the “there’s no drifting anymore comments” well there would be if people would watch the videos. But nobody watches them. So I just go drive and don’t film it. I just film the big events and comps and even then.

I would highly recommend looking into putting the carpet 3' up the walls at the bottom. It will help keep the trailer looking much nicer over time and add a very nice aesthetic. I would also highly recommend wrapping the outside of the trailer. Even if its a solid color like whats there, it will protect the finish of the aluminum from the UV rays and minor scratches as well as keep it nicer looking for resale value.

I can actually relate to what I think the real 'issue' is. When your job or your hobby revolves around working on a vehicle, the last thing you want to do it work on a 'tool'. And that is what your transporter is .. a tool. Time spent working on the bus, or the truck, or an old trailer is time NOT spent working on your race car. When I ran my circle track car, I just wanted to load and go. I hated if I had to work on the truck or trailer.
That IT trailer was built 10 mins from my house. Southwest welding the company I work/deliver steel for makes a few parts that might be on that trailer. Small world. I live in indiana!
Super nice trailer. If you want to keep those fender wells in good shape you better take those tires off and put a decent brand on. Those have earned the nickname "castle pop" in the travel trailer world.
Try using a weight distribution hitch for the new trailer. I use one now for my bumper pull enclosed and it is way more stable than before. Probably not quite as good as gooseneck but very similar.
You passed the perfect rig pulling through the gate that white toter and stacker that's everything you need , sleeping area, 2 car haulin space , and workin area all together
I definitely like the idea of the bus towing the trailer with the vette to an event. You can have the 86 in there, or even the monte if it fits and have a sweet car to go run errands or go to the hotel or food or anything like that too while at the track.
If you do find you need more space when running truck and trailer, then you could always get a topper for the bed of your truck, to give you more storage space
I really like how you normally say US in regards to your equipment. It really feels like your friends and you are a true race team. BUY YOUR TEAM SHIRTS or soemthing cool man hook them up if you can.
Congrats on the new unit, would love to see that behind the bus one day! I’m not sure if you can do it but can you clear vinyl wrap the trailer to prevent rock chips and scratch marks and maybe even the inside too? Not sure if that would help with the resale value of the trailer and protect your investment
Clear wrap would help resale if removed wrap and the paint underneath had no scratches. On the inside having carpet on the bottom 3' is a nice way to keep the inside nice.

Thinking ahead and seeing any could go wrong while hauling your car and having a solution.
You need a Reese straight line weight distribution hitch helps you ge weight and sway control tremendously
You passed the perfect rig pulling through the gate that white toter and stacker that's everything you need , sleeping area, 2 car haulin space , and workin area all together
Anyone else reminded about Dust to Dawn, when he started going over the different type of trailers.
Well now that you have this trailer I'm hella excited to see the Bus get some love
Bus is finished it will be in a couple of bus towing trailer vids then it's gone.
I love the quality of Intech. They are awesome.
Nice trailer good addition………👍👍👍👍
I definitely like the idea of the bus towing the trailer with the vette to an event. You can have the 86 in there, or even the monte if it fits and have a sweet car to go run errands or go to the hotel or food or anything like that too while at the track.
I’m a spaz for trailers too. Don’t know why, but damn I love them
If you do find you need more space when running truck and trailer, then you could always get a topper for the bed of your truck, to give you more storage space
I really like how you normally say US in regards to your equipment. It really feels like your friends and you are a true race team. BUY YOUR TEAM SHIRTS or soemthing cool man hook them up if you can.
New trailer = more bus fixing vids! Would love to see that bus turn key and rock solid.
Wrap everything to match the race car with a lot of gray. Congrats on all the upgrades.
Man the fummis is such a cool looking truck I hope you never get rid of the truck
God I miss racing it’s so expensive in your own. I love that car carrying bus. That’s my dream
I know this video is about the trailer, but you just pulled the corvette out of the bus, and god I love how throaty that thing sounds. So nice.
