Frankly speaking. It's not reviews that needs to be rethinked. It's rather people's perception to reviews and review scores that needs to be. Review score of 76 doesn't make it a bad game. People came to think only score of above 80 is a good game. From our era. 50 was supposed to be bad game. Now people's perception changed
FightinCowboy on RUclips gave a lackluster walkthrough that he abandoned well before the end.
I was playing the game and am really enjoying it currently now.

The gardens and pleasure district textures are as good as anything in GOT.

I’ve been loving this game. I understand the criticism and it’s valid. But taking in the game and playing it has been thoroughly enjoyable team Ninja did a great job I think.
Need to finish Rebirth before I can start either RotR or DD2. Can't wait to play though.

I really don't understand all the hate this game is getting, i tried Nioh but couldn't really get into since I've never been big on souls like games, I've only played a little bit of rise but I'm loving the combat (difficult as it is) I'm a massive history nerd, which is the main reason i brought it

I’m about 7 hours in and one thing that really surprised me is how good this game looks, the way people was talking pre release I thought the graphics would be ugly as hell!

This game is amazing and really got robbed of it's score. All the nonsense about the graphics and supposedly empty world. It's sad that most of the negative reviews are from Xbox and PC players. Great to see how much love this game is getting from the community.

Looks like a fun game and well thought out mechanics. The grappling hook reminds me of a ps2 game called Tenchu Z. With it, you got a cross hair and pull yourself up any wall ceiling or roof top and wait for the enemy to come by and like a spider, drop in from above.
Once downloaded I look to enjoying it.

I love this game
Most annoying thing about this game by far is the need to use different names for basic things. It’s not a parry, it’s a counterspark. It’s not grabbing or searching an item. It’s checking it. Other than that, the only issue I have is watching other people play the game in a way that make me look like a toddler playing with a controller.

How do you use the skill scrolls? I have them in my inventory but it won’t let me use them
There are two kinds of items: Treatises give you skill points, and the Scrolls are given to allies to boost their stats.
Where did you get the Pocket watch?
You get it from doing the main story missions - I think it's the second mission in the Follow Your Blade Twin arc.

I really wanted to love this game. I love team ninja and their Niho series. But maybe it's me I don't know. The combat and Rise of the Ronin is just not on the level as some of their other games and because of that I just can't get into it.

Probably the worst skill trees I've seen in a decade. Literally nothing exciting.
If they’re going to charge more, the games should at least look more impressive to match. This game looks pretty generic but fun, however let’s be honest, the graphics were miles better in Ghost of Tsushima a few years ago and that was $60.
While graphics do matter, it’s not an issue here. Its the fact that it’s not a fantastical is what hurts it in that department because art direction can go miles

We do normally, but try not to clutter video with subtitles if we can avoid it. Great voice acting in this one.
