At least the nissan 350z was used in tokyo drift. Its probably better that it was used in tokyo drift because that cars handling is extremely good at drifting.

The Shelby Cobra being denied seems wild... Perfect for an ejecto seato!
I always wondered why there was just a random Shelby Cobra included in the original toy line. Now, it makes sense. As cool as it looks, I think it was a good call scrapping it. It's too "classic" if that makes sense. It sticks out hard compared to the mostly modern selection of cars.The only role I could see it fitting without looking out of place is as a one-off background car parked outside of Verone's mansion, kinda like the "Ferrari in the driveway."
The Camaro and the charger were way better choices for the bad guys compared to the MRs.

than stock & a lil extra boost and she's at 375hp. But..the sky is the limit on those cars..her

What on EARTH was that body kit on the Celica at 2:35? Who would do that to that poor vehicle?
I might be mistaken but I think the original kit was designed by TRD for a concept. This looks like a very wonky copy/imitation of that kit. I assume the kit was inspired by F1 cars, similarly to what Mercedes were doing in the early 2000s with the SLR and SLK.

The 350Z ended up debuting in the movie as Suki's vinyl concept drawing.

If I recall correctly, a car that used to be affiliated with Team Allstars was Bill Kohl's Monica Integra from FF1. Team Autobots was involved in FF1, Allstars with FF1,2, and another Team significantly shown in FF2 was Team Jade! 🤓 I loved goin to movies in early 00s, love F&F and the cars, love to nerd out. 🍿 Craig's channel is like having endless dvd extras for some of my favorite movies. Keep them comin! edit: I forgot to mention in my comment Team ArTnMotion, Craig was in that club, as well as the RJ de Vara family.

You couldn’t possibly leave out the Challenger and the Camaro for more import stuff. Guys like me only went to the first one because of the Charger in the commercials. You have to have old-school muscle in a fast and furious movie.

I was going to bring my Eclipse to one of the casting calls in Florida but couldn't make it. I felt like it would have fot perfect for a background car in the movie.

The Grey First Gen Neon coupe is kinda sweet. If it was one of the RT or ACR versions, even better.
They got crapped on all the time, but I think they were good little cars, alot better option than anything Korean, and alot of Japanese cars too.
8:13 The Focus with flames is a crazy addition to the movie. I always thought it was just a cheesey Focus, but its 1 of 3 FR200's built.
The original paint and decals on that r34 are almost perfect absolutely beautiful

I remember the 350z from the scramble scene it was shown for an short glimpse leaving the garage area from the helicopter view in movie crazy to think it would have probably being overpriced aswell if it had it's own role in the movie as an potential hero car

I remember so many people at the local South Florida car shows back then swore their car was going to be in the movie. The only one I actually saw was a local shop called Speed and Truck world who built a huge lifter pick up with a 9/11 tribute paint job.

For an organized daytime car meet it's mandatory to have it hosted in an area with seemingly infinite space. Every single car show I've been to that wasn't a classic car drive-in had filled lots, gone across the street in every which way. After the fourth lot would be filled, typically people just pass by with their pride n' joy however don't attend with lack of space. A typical mall lot just barely cuts it. Night meets thrown together on a whim at last moment? No worries. It's usually average Joe traffic cars and a truck taking up 8 spots. Maybe.
2:28 & 7:23 All I see is the Prelude. I owned a 1985 Si and still have my 1991 Si 4WS. I did buy a 1997 that had a blown engine from a friend but sold it to another friend before I ever started to work on it.
Prelude was always one of my favorite Hondas. My bro had an '89(?) Si when I was a kid. Was never a "Honda Guy" per se, but I'd still love to get ahold of a decent 4-5gen Prelude or Ek/Eg/Ef Civic Hatch. Prob is all I ever see are tattered shitboxes or the seller is one of those "$15k, I know what I got"-type jackasses... (and they never actually have what they seem to THINK they have lol)

Craig it's a shame that the last generation Toyota MR2 didn't make it into the film and that car was amazing I don't know if you executed the color choice and the body kit but it was a beautiful looking car and that is a shame that it didn't make it into the movie. I had a 7th generation Celica for about almost 15 years and it's a shame that that car didn't make it into the movie although I never could confirm the car in the background , Tokyo drift in the garage looks like a 7th generation Celica.
Watch the garage scramble scene again. The MR-S is pretty prominent. I'm not even a fan of the movies and I spotted it the last time I watched the movie.
I know some people are sick of them because they are everywhere in the drag racing scene but fox bodie Mustangs deserve a shot in that movie better than what they got. You want a car that everybody messes with in their own way and will appeal to the largest crowd that’s 9:38 it. And they happily smoke imports on a daily basis, ask me how I know
