Can't thank you enough mate. Not enough gen 2 guidance out there for part time hobbyists like myself. This done me an absolutely huge favour, many thanks🙏
@@Wednesday51 go on Facebook and join the zzr1400 group people on there can tell you a lot. What's the mileage on the one your getting as valves need doing around 25k and isn't a cheap job. And keep the oil to the top of the window as the oil pump plate is a weak link on these and if they go can throw no3 rob. You can buy an upgrade plate for around £50 it goes behind the clutch basket there is a good video on here on how to change it.
Thanks for that Becky ... I’ll take it all on board. Mileage 000007 .. most of that the PDI ... registering one of the last of the breed on 24/11/2020 Plate MY7 0WLS I’m a Sheffield Wednesday supporter.
Thanks Phillip for your comment, I’ve got loads of other jobs coming up. LED lights, oil and filter change, upgraded clutch slave cylinder with braided line and braided brake lines and may be a few more so be sure to subscribe and then you won’t miss a vlog
Hi mate I've noticed that you put your negative lead on the battery wrong it goes over the top of the battery you went around the side you might want to take it off and put it on right
@@TheJohnsons81 no worries mate only know as I changed mine for a lithium one the weight difference between the 2 batteries is massive. Lithium feel like a empty box

A lot of thanks from Paris, without your help, it would have been a hell!
the negative lead should be on the top of the battery cover not at side, thanks this was helpful.
If you look at the plastic on the top of the battery there is a channel the negative lead goes down
Nice one Becky. Picking my nee ZZR 1400 on Tuesday ... any tips apart from if needs a new battery time to change the bike.

Thanks for sharing an excellent video.
Omg very involved job for a battery.
Nice one thanks for making this. Look forward to more. Subbed.
Thanks for the subscription it’s much appreciated. Is there anything particular you would like a video on? The next one should be LED lights.
The_Johnsons81 cheers I’ll give it some thought. Yes Led lights would be great though
Just used to access the battery for optimate. Thanks... on older ZZRs the 3rd bolt on the panel seems to be a plastic pin instead. 🤷♂️
Thank you. Very useful.
That’s brilliant shame they can’t put the battery underneath the seat would make life so much easier 👍
it´s a weight thing. Its engineered to have most weight in the middle or even more to the front to counter the driver weight.
So how long did the other (original?) battery last?
What were the symptoms you had of a dying batterY?

Thanks I’ll go and put it right tomorrow I appreciate the comment and looking so close thanks
