What you're doing mate all wrong🤦
So where the review ? Lighter ? Massive improvement over the standard kit ? Better gear changes e.g smoother and so on ?
Careful with that brake fluid matey it damages paintwork. Here's a tip. When you open a new bottle of brake fluid don't just rip open the foil cap. Instead poke a small round hole in the edge of the foil with a pen or similar. Makes it easier to handle the fluid in awkward spots. You can even stop the flow with a finger as locating or removing the bottle. We do this with oil, antifreeze or any other fluids with a foil cap.
Thanks mate my clutch definitely needs one I shall do it myself now !
Great video. I had trouble finding instructional videos on how to assemble the Abba Skylift from beginning to end. I have to go to the hardware store because they forgot to give me the long bolt to secure the locking wheel to the frame. They gave me the nut, washer, and spacer but no long bolt.
Omg very involved job for a battery.
Very interesting, mine is playing up on the 1400, and now watching this I will tackle it my self
I visited this lovely Place.
Beautiful Northumberland.❤
You’re the only one to a review this bike and say it’s not got an ultra smooth engine. Not hard hitting… really! Clunky box… think that’s pilot error personally.
I recently sold my zzr1400 ps.20plate for one off these, their very different and i think its a great bike if not faster more comfortable beter in twisties than zzr1400, but i regret selling it, there is no replacement for displacement 😂
Great video thanks for sharing one question can you just take the fairing off only where the side of air filter is thanks in advance
Yes and no... You don't need to strip all those fairings, but the top section has to be removed - but that's the only one. Three screws (one on the top/front and one on each side) that holds the top fairing just in front of the "fuel tank ie airfilter box" and also two screws connected to those black covers on the top side, but only the rear screw on each side has to be removed. All in all five screws and a little bit of wiggling. Then you can access the filter cover very easily.
Should have just put it under the seat where it belongs.
Buy a 1/4 drive socket set bro ... painful to watch u using shitty tools.
The rubber shouldn't be in the shape of a cup, it only goes like that as the brake fluid gets low.. you should push it back before installing.. also top up some more brake fluid.. personally I'd be more careful for not spilling it anywhere.. can be dangerous if it goes on discs and pads, also destructive.. can also ruin plastics and paint.. hope this helps.
A lot of thanks from Paris, without your help, it would have been a hell!
Really enjoyed your review subscribed 👍
I have just completed almost 8,000 miles, mainly touring Europe, brilliant tyres and now won’t use anything else. Thanks for the recommendation 👍👍
the negative lead should be on the top of the battery cover not at side, thanks this was helpful.
Usefull thank you i was wondering how to do this 👍👍
@2:36
Thank you. Very useful.
Hello, good afternoon, I wanted to know if the tightening torques for the front caliper (34 Nm / 17.2 Nm) are the same as for the rear caliper. Regards ✌️
Awesome commentary 👍🏅🏅👍
I bought a used one and could not figure out the return spring. Thank you for showing that.
Veryu annoying bursts of unpleasant "music'. Not necessary!
Hi have you done a video for plugs and water 👍
Hate those fences. Sadly, I'm old enough to remember the good old days when you could go to places like Spa-Francorchamps and sit on the Aarmco to watch Roberts, Spencer etc, etc.
So how long did the other (original?) battery last?
learned a lot from your video as a first timer doing my own services. Will you do one for replacing rear pads?
Thanks for the video, do you not bleed the rear caliper too as they are linked brakes?
i just ordered a setup for my bike, at checkout it asked where you heard about quadlock, i said its on your channel. 👊
Just the video I've been trawling the net for! Did you have to alter the stem diameter to fit down the hole?
What were the symptoms you had of a dying batterY?
That’s brilliant shame they can’t put the battery underneath the seat would make life so much easier 👍
it´s a weight thing. Its engineered to have most weight in the middle or even more to the front to counter the driver weight.
How many miles have you done on it ? Any issues ?
Can't thank you enough mate. Not enough gen 2 guidance out there for part time hobbyists like myself. This done me an absolutely huge favour, many thanks🙏
Franchement nickel, je dois faire les miens sur mon zzr 1400 2017 et je n'ai aucune connaissance Méca à part théorique, grâce à toi et cette vidéo je vais économiser de l'argent ! L'arrière me paraît plus compliqué ??
Hi Michael, how do you get a microphone to work with the hero 7? Does it come with a microphone or is it Bluetooth attached? Sorry, complete newbie on cameras and just bought a gen 1 zzr1400, looking for best type of camera and how to speak at the same time as recording. Cheers!
I was doing a separate vocal using the Sena microphone in my helmet linked with my phone, it’s a bit of a pain to link a microphone to the GoPro. But I’ve just got an old GoPro hero 3 with a Bluetooth unit attached so I can link straight to my helmet, not tried it yet
@@TheJohnsons81 Ah ok, I've fitted a dashcam to my car but haven't any idea what's best for bikes, will have to take a good look after Xmas see what's about. Nice video by the way and yes the bridge looks a bit lairy when windy
Great vid bro good quality and well explained 👍
Thanks mate, good bit of kit I us it all the time
Bought a 2021 plate great bike 👍

Nice video!
Similar to bmc ?
Enjoyed this little series, it's such a shame about the Pub's they really got hammered this past 18 months and mask wearing and anti-social distancing isn't really what they're all about!!
It's great to get some feedback on different routes, I feel for you if that road's one of the top ten in England. There are probably 10 better ones round about me, but then we're spoiled up here, though some could do with a bit of repairing.
Thanks for the ride out, I enjoyed the video and the choice of music was quite decent, finding good licence free music can be an issue, where do you source yours? I just took delivery today of probably the last ZZR 1400 Performance Sport in Europe, certainly the UK. Sadly I didn't get a chance to ride it, we had rain, greasy roads, new tyres and a new bike aren't a great combination. Hopefully the weather will be favourable at the weekend, I'll rig up the cameras and do a bit of a review. I won't be knocking the pants out of it 4,000rpm for the first 250 miles, with just odd bursts above that, being the last one it's a bit special.
Thanks for your comment, the music is on a paid subscription from epidemic sounds it’s £10 a month got some really good music on there. Lucky to get the last bike it’s such a shame you can no longer buy them, I don’t blame you for waiting for a good day to try it I had a bad experience with new tyres on a wet road once proved to be an expensive mistake
@@TheJohnsons81 Thanks for your reply, I believe the stock tyres aren't too good, I usually swap them out for either Pirelli Angel GT's or Michelin Road 5's. Having done that recently for a Triumph Tiger Sport, only to change it for an FZ1-S and do the same, calling with the new bike and extras, the tyres will have to do a few miles before getting swapped.
Fantastic an Abba Sky lift in the house. I wish my wife was so understanding :) I have just invested in a Sky lift, a fantastic ( but pricy ) bit of kit.
I’m very lucky my wife love bikes as much as I do she would love a bike in the living room. It’s a great bit of kit done a few jobs this morning with makes life a lot easier
Ruined by the music man, not needed at all when the bikes sound that good!
Fair point mate I’ll bear that in mine for the future, cheers
I got the slloy rims this time after 12 years of brown tims on my first gen. They are great bikes.
They are great bikes not much around to top them. Enjoy and ride safe.
