Girl OMG purser pay/international/red flag that is like a dream come true!! I have yet to be purser on a long haul flight but would love the challenge. I hope you had an amazing time in Barcelona, I wish we flew there out of DFW!
What does a purser do?
ilovevegimite ~ it’s basically chain of command on the plane. They help service flow smoothly in flight, and are the ones in communication with the cockpit during emergency{s}.

Kat, Love your uniform dress, so classy! Would like to know your responsibilities as a purser. Years ago, I was flying on a TWA 747 and the purser came around and introduced himself to each passenger. He checked my connecting flight in SFO and found out exactly where in the terminal to go to buy flowers for my girlfriend! Such incredible and personal service. I will never forget it! You know that I am one of your biggest fans, so I am really happy to see you assuming more responsibility as a purser on an international flight. I hope it's not too stressful of a job. I think your airline is wise using you in that position because you are such a fun and personable FA! Can't wait to hear more about this position. As always, take care and Happy Travels! ♥️🛫🗺

You’re right about the ice situation in Europe. Went to Hamburg, Germany in 06 and dined at a restaurant. Ordered a soft drink and they brought it out without ice. Was definitely surprised.

I am Gluten Free and have had trouble traveling with things that I want to keep cold. Thanks to you I now have a reusable ice pack that you show to keep the meat and cheese cold. I had never thought of that and it's going to be perfect to keep my yogurt or meats cold. Thank You !

So funny, was just in Europe, and our hotel had the same kind of nut/ snack jars. Have never seen them in US hotels. I love my ice, and ,yes, it was really hard to get. Sometimes they would only give us 1 or 2 cubes! I really love Europe!

Two things. First, even when your bag looked "unorganized", it still looked organized to me. Mine tends to look like a tornado went through it but with the help of packing cubes, it's way better, lol. Also, if I worked as a flight attendant, I would totally stock up on all the hotel shampoos/conditioner/soap/lotion because I love the little luxuries like that. Then again, I'd have too much to handle and will give it away to family and friends, hahaha. Do you ever take those home with you???

First off, fan girl moment! I have been watching your videos religiously recently because I have recently decided to take the plunge and become a flight attendant! Still in the application process and waiting to hear back, but I am so excited I am just reading and watching any, and I mean ANY material I can to prepare myself! I was wondering, do you have a video on shoe apparel? Also, when do you get to take off the heels and put on your flats? Maybe recommendations or go over what you wear and how you care for them? Btw, I am trying to find the best way to get my passport... I have never traveled outside of the country and have never gotten one before. I am getting conflicting information where some people have told me it took a couple of weeks and others have told me a few months to get there passport... I really want to make sure I have it before I start training and am internally freaking out about it 😓😓😓
I just spent a week in Barcelona, then Siena and now in Florence until the 20th with an early flight 6:05 to Munich and then home to California 😍
Hard as rock beds that are two twin beds together are common in European hotels! I hate it on layovers.

Hey Kat I have been watching your videos for awhile and you have been so helpful! I have a cjo with united and should be starting training in the near future and I can't wait to become a flight attendant! I have a quick question and I am not sure if every airline is different or if this is even a thing, but when you have layovers in Europe or other countries does the airline provide local currency such as euros or do you need to buy them yourself? If you need to buy them yourself what do you do to get the most bang for your buck I know the euro is worth more than the American dollar. Or if you use a credit/debit card can you recommend one that doesn't have international fees.

i use the stila waterproof felt tip eyeliner, truly the best eyeliner ive used in my life... sucks its $30 but definitely worth it!!
