It is okay, but if you have it on all day long, it's best to not sleep with it and just let your body breathe. In my experience I would wear it all day long, starting the minute I got ready for the day and then once I got ready for bed I would take it off and let my belly/body breathe. @yvonnet6399

A couple of thoughts I have as a 2nd time mom:
-Hakaas are crap. The suction doesn’t stay on and they fall off and milk spills everywhere. 😭 Get “breast shells” instead. It’s a little collection cup that sits down snug in your bra and collects dripping milk. Plus, your baby can’t kick it off like the Hakaa. 😀
-YES to the belly binder, especially if you have a c-section, but wear it low enough for it to be supportive of your incision area.
-I personally didn’t like the Velcro swaddles because the Velcro would get stuck to everything in the washer/dryer and it ruined so many clothes. 😑 Also, the Velcro is loud and will wake a sleeping baby. We had good success with the Love to Dream swaddles.
-hair tie: nah. The side that needs to be emptied sooner will feel fuller!
The ice pack idea is great!

I’m currently 14 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child. I tried breastfeeding my daughter and it lasted about 2 weeks before I gave up. She wouldn’t latch and I wasn’t producing enough milk so I pumped and gave her breast milk until I just gave up completely and formula fed. I felt guilty at first but I noticed my daughter was finally eating and becoming full (she had lost some weight when I was trying to breastfeed). Anywho my last doctor appointment the nurse practitioner asked me what I planned on doing and I told her formula feeding because the last time I breastfed my daughter didn’t latch, my nipples were cracked and bleeding and it was just a bad experience for me lol. I felt like she was trying to convince me to change my mind about formula and to breastfeed my baby this time around because of the benefits….I’m not going to lie it made me feel like crap, but I don’t blame the nurse!!! She’s educating me and doing her job which is taking care of me and my baby! But I can’t say that I’m not scared this time….I feel like maybe it’s just my boobs🤦🏽‍♀️🤣💀I’ve never been a busty girl and even while pregnant they didn’t get bigger so 🤷🏽‍♀️ idk…I’m done venting thank you RUclips lmao

Congratulations on baby #2! No matter if you end up breastfeeding or formula feeding, what’s important is that mom and baby are both healthy, mentally as much as physically. I will though advise you to give breastfeeding your second baby a chance if you feel mentally up to it. My first baby had some problems latching on and at eight weeks postpartum I had supply issues, though I made it through both challenges. Second baby had zero issues with breastfeeding. Currently pregnant with #3 and hoping for another easy breastfeeding journey, but I know plenty of moms just do better giving themselves a break and switching to formula. Just saying that every baby is different as well as every postpartum experience. 😊

With my first baby it was so hard bc she was tongue tied and it hurt and I was bleeding. We got her revised and even then it still hurt bc she was small and wouldn’t open her mouth. I resorted to pumping then formula but wanted to still try to breast feed so she got a bit bigger and I think that helped and I was able to feee her for 11 months myself. I wanted to give up but didn’t and we were both so happy. This time I just had my second a week ago and it hurts again I use nipple shields and pump sometimes i know it will pass and I’m waiting for her to get a little bigger like in a month so her mouth opens up more

I’m only 19 not planning on it his anytime soon but I’m still scared thinking about it since I have a LOT of pelvis issues like rotation and hips being misaligned. I’m hyper mobile and the thought of what this will to do my body has me freaking out even now 😅
I don’t think I’ll ever go back to normal afterwords. I can hardly sit down in one position for too long without popping my hip out of place or making my pelvis tilt or rotate. And then it’s painful and uncomfortable and my muscles contract and make it hard to go back to normal position. And this affects my bowel movements so I know it’s gonna affect labour! Labor sounds like a nightmare to me but I want to have kids in the future….

The hair tie is a good idea, I'm just Leary of anything elastic on the wrist I have a scar from when I was a baby, according to my Mom I had on a pretty sleeper or coverall that had elastic in the wrist and she did snip the elastic with scissors and I was having a nap and laid on my arm, it was cutting off the circulation in my wrist my sister saw it and screamed for our Mom. it's all good 🤗, I used a diaper pin on the top of my bra 🤗, worked great. That device you held up looked like what I had old school breast pump it was manual, it worked oh and mine was two pieces and straight with gaskets too 🤗, breast is best, every baby must eat bottle fed works too 🤗😎

I was wondering how soon can you use a abdominal binder? After giving birth vaginally, I heard you couldn’t use it for 4 to 6 weeks. but I just wanna know how soon or if you can’t.
