YES to all of this 👏🏽 my biggest tip as a mama of a 10 month old baby is to accept the new season of life, embrace your current circumstances and do life WITH your baby instead of trying to escape. It encourages baby to be flexible with you and provides a positive example. Thanks for the tips! I love your channel ❤
THIS IS HUGE! Yes yes yes. Acceptance of my new reality was definitely a thing that I had to undergo, even though I had wanted it so much, it was still such a huge change. I had to adjust by flowing with this new baby in my life vs. trying to live my life like it was before (which can cause a lot of frustration).
Honestly, this book ‘Raising Warriors: Preparing Your Children For a Godly Life’ gave me the encouragement I needed to stay strong in raising my kids with Christian values, it’s comforting to know Im not alone on this journey
I started having my children at 31 and I think I was a more helicopter momma because I was an older momma. I took things very seriously that I noticed younger mommas just breezed through. If you are an older momma just know that although this is a tremendous responsibility it is also something that people have done since time began and did well or you would not be here. 🎉😂 Laugh it truly is the best medicine!
Oh yes. I feel it 100% I was after a week alone all day, 5 days a week. With a new born, 3 weeks before he was born my mom died so I was really emotional and on the other hand I didn't had baby blues like some others. But one tip: Its all a phase. If they arent easy for a few days or seem like they totally changed they are propably having a system update. And after that they will achieve a lot of new skills. Thats so fascinating. And: they will grow up so fast. So live in the moment even if its tough. Its only a short time that they are so little And: do everyday something just for you wirhout baby. Even if its 2min to make a tee or just sitting 🙈 My little one is now 7 month old and I cant believe hes alreas so big
Thank you! My partner has struggled after her c section and I’m going to send her this - hearing from another mum that she’s not alone is really important I think. As much as I want to help, shared experiences are definitely the better way to get the message across.
Mommy I would recommend singing a praise song to God in the morning as it lifts up your spirit, that includes faster physical healing as well. The mind shift of focusing in God's goodness is refreshing as always. That's what I do now though I'm still in my 5th month pregnancy and staying at home. I feel so assured in God's power and faithfulness that this journey is going to be an enjoyable one.❤
I have 5 children and can relate so much to this! My youngest is 19 months and sleep is still a struggle along with getting time to myself. It’s hard and you are doing great! Your daughter is so precious!
This is our 5th baby. We are expecting him in November. I’m brushing up on all post partum videos and diets and reminders. It will be our 3rd home birth. All of the information is appreciated 🙏 God bless!
I utilized the Ontario Early Years Centre. They have lots of drop in programs and scheduled programs from 0-6 y.o. It was a life saver for me. It gave me something to look forward to (getting out of the house) and for my children (different toys and activities) and getting to visit with other parents (socializing) and having experienced staff that could help with questions or concerns and it was free too!
Hi! I am six weeks postpartum. This video SPOKE to me. I also had a C section & healing from it was so rough. You vocalize so much of what I was feeling here. Thanks, girl. ❤
These were great tips! I'm on number two now at 7 weeks. With my first experience I so loved my son and loved those early days but I really neglected my needs and didn't know how to ask for help. These tips are really crucial to avoid PPD and just overall have an easier time easing into motherhood! Thanks for sharing
Amazing tips, one thing that helps me is going for walks before my baby wakes up in the morning or in the evenings when my husband is at home and he takes care of my son!
Thank you so much for this encouragement. I have a two year old and a 4 month old and often feel very alone and this makes me very anxious. Some of these tips are a good reminder for me.
You are doing great Meg 🥰 The postpartum is an extremely intense moment filled wit mixed emotions, like you describe (I say it as a mom of an older child, as well). I promise things get much better with time 😊, you just have to enjoy this magical moment. Sometimes I wish my son was a little baby again so I can hold him in my arms like in those times. It takes a lot of your energy, yes! so accepting help is really valuable. Cheers from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I've been following your channel for a couple years and I was so happy that we were pregnant at the same time. My baby is 6 weeks now and I've loved hearing about your experience and the tips you've picked up so far. This newborn time is so hard but so amazing ❤️
I’m a new mom of an amazing 8 week old baby girl 🐣. Thank u so much for sharing your experience. I feel eveeeery word you said… was my experience too! 🥲 Prepped like crazy during pregnancy and for birth… and post-partum felt absolutely unexpected to me. I do agree with ALL your tips and yes… a quick reminder that we are not the only ones having those struggles. All women after birth actually are… is just that sometimes this topic is not much talked about. Kudos to your content 🙌🏻💚✨!
I absolutely love these videos. I am not a Mom yet but I really want to be. Thank you so much for all of your help with learning how to detoxify, live healthy, and care for yourself. Thanks for being so down to earth and removing the stigma. I don't know you personally but I love your videos. ❤️
Congrats, Meghan! I’m impressed you’re making videos with such a new baby! Thanks for this: as a parent, it can be tough to think of what takes care of myself and to make the time. Postpartum life is not talked about in the general new baby curriculum so thank you for sharing this.
Thank you, this topic is perfect. Looking forward to future topics. I was literally missing you😔. Looking forward to seeing more, as things are starting to "normalise".🥰

Do what feels right- trust your instincts. People will give their unsolicited advice, but at the end of the day, you will still do you. 😊

Self Care is so essential that most overlook PP
Lol you really take basic hygiene for granted until you have a baby
This woman is married to a filthy rich lawyer.
Oh bullshit.
I messaged you on Instagram but you did not answer me 😐
Lol you really take basic hygiene for granted until you have a baby
I take basic hygiene for granted and I don’t have a baby. It’s called depression
