So cool seeing Randolph Scott in such an early Western. He had quite a long career on the silver screen.

Randolph Scott was so young in this movie, he was such a handsome young man,, and Sally Blaine was naturally gorgeous + a great choice for the role.
Knowing Randolph's s Biography offers a whole other dimension to seeing him in his younger years. (
📚 He came from a well to do family, was very well educated, was in the military WWI and upon returning home he went Georgia Tech. He was an athlete, played football, but a back injury kept him from pursuing football. He transferred to the University of North Carolina and majored in Engineering.
He left college and joined his dad, a CPA to work as an Accountant in a Textile firm.
Apparently not satisfied with his direction, he managed to develop an interest in acting and his dad knew Howard Huges. With his dads letter of introduction he went to LA and ... in time, he made the cut.
It is apparent Randolph Scott was intelligent, had a great education, and his family had provided him with the standards and ethics + social training, together woth his experience in the military and war assignments he had grown into a higher minded, mature, and classy man.
This seems to always show through, in the roles he chose and in his character . In spite of the tabloids efforts to profit from their accusations, he always dealt with the media from the strength of his character.
The man was thoroughly 1st class.
Regardless of what people say about someone, the fact is, "what someone says about another, always says more about them than it does their victim."
I admire him, for the way he carried himself, his loyalty to his friends and family, and his higher minded character.
His Biography is worth a read or viewing, but be certain it is his Biography rather than a retelling of tabloid accusations and opinions.
For thise Interested, "Jerry Skinner Channel" did a nice Bio- summary on him and its an enjoyable watch.
May his Soul soar with the Stars and be blessed with eternal positive energies. ⭐
Randolph was born in 1897 and ma8ntained a healthy youthful look well inti the 50's.

Beautiful. Amazingly engaging... Lots of action... pretty girl... bad guy in black hat... and a tall, slim hero with a Southern accent. Yee-haw.
