This was an incredible amount of important information that should be helpful to anyone looking to purchase a Far Tire Bike ! What a Great and helpful Video Thankyou for your time and great work❤😊
I love my Beargrease X0, but I am on groomed and well packed xc singletrack for the most part. I am surprised there was no mention of Rocky Mountain Blizzard, although I think it is more of a groomed and even more gravity focussed bike for geometry, it is a good option for the right rider. Lots of bikes that I haven't been aware of on your list, good to see there is still some new models coming out.
Beargrease is still a great bike, but I listed my reason for not putting it in here for 2025 (still an honorable mention though!), even though I ride mine a lot. I didn't include Rocky Mountain (they have been there before) mainly because of their recently announced bankruptcy, hard to say where that will go. Nothing wrong with the bikes though!
@@ElevationEveryWeekend I saw the honorable mention, and I agree. Good point about Rocky...sad to see, but there's some great deals on those bikes now! haha. Thanks for the reply....I'm hitting the snow right away here. :)
I'm currently not a fat bike owner but I enjoy the reviews. I really don't have a use case for a fat bike bc I get very little snow in my area and I'm a good hour plus from the beach. I did fat bike once in Lake Placid NY and had a blast. My Santa Cruz Tallboy fits my needs.
Yes, the Beargrease is a fun bike and does a lot very well, but for more extreme fat bike things most of these others with bigger tires are better options
@@GravelBikeCalifornia that would definitely be a good price on the Beargrease, as long as you don’t have a need for the max tire size capability of the ICT.
@ if you aren’t really doing any snow riding I would think that the Beargrease would be a great option. I love mine for the dirt, but here in Colorado when I go up in the mtns for winter snow I do need max tire size more often than not.
How about the Canyon Dude CF 8. It's a Carbon Fat Bike with a 27.5" tires and good spec level for only $1900. Seems to me one of the best deals on the market right now.
@@ElevationEveryWeekend I haven't seen any reviews online of the Canyon yet. Curious if people like it. I'm still rocking my 2022 Salsa Mukluk Advent X. Solid bike in the snow but a bit on the heavy side. Great video!
Hi Great content as always! I'm of the age, with a lifetime of being active (and some of the injuries accrued in that time) that made a efat bike a real enabler for me. I opted for the Explorer Peak you mentioned. Combined with a 29er plus alternate wheelset and both rigid and suspension fork options it's covering a big spread of that N+1 "problem" we all have with bikes :)
Thanks for including the Heyday! on your list. All the best to you in 2025!
@@SalsaCyclesOfficial thanks for checking it out!
This was a greatinteresting and educational fat tire bike yet keep them coming loved it
@@thomashospodar9808 thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching! Still riding the Farleys?
@@ElevationEveryWeekendYes, still riding the Trek Farley 5 and loving it !!

I agree. In a sense im seeing Beargreese as a MtB w fat bike capabilities.

What if I could get a Beargrease C Cues for the same price as the Ice Cream Truck?
@@GravelBikeCalifornia that would definitely be a good price on the Beargrease, as long as you don’t have a need for the max tire size capability of the ICT.
@ElevationEveryWeekend that's the one thing. I live in Los Angeles and I think the Beargrease should be enough, but should I want more?

It’s definitely a good solid bike, I have had it on prior lists too. Current sale price definitely helps!

Still pressfit, on the carbon Farley...
@toniedvardsen8169 That is right they only updated the fork on the Carbon bike, the AL bikes got all the frame updates.

I would love to try the Explorer Peak, it looks like Ari really covered all the bases with it!
