Hey just a heads up, the sleeves aren't long because of average measurements. It's because the cafe racer jacket was designed for motorcycle riding. The extra length at the sleeves is there to ensure your wrists remain covered while your arms are outstretched on the bike. All motorcycle style jackets are like this. IMO, you shouldn't have them tailored. It'll look odd.

Yes.
I no longer ride a motorbike but I still like my jacket sleeves to go down a way past my wrists. Short sleeves will make one's arms appear somewhat shorter. Besides, having a bit of extra sleeve length will further help to protect from the elements on cold and windy days.
No not all motorcycle jackets are like that. Depends on the brand.
Also this is just a fashion jacket so there's no need to have such long sleeves when it's lacking other motorcycle specific features
The first three boots they released were the Captain, President, and Diplomat in Black, Brown, and Natural.
Yes, the leather from Mexico definitely has a unique nice smell to it.
I never understood why that was. My mom has a bag that comes from Mexico and 6-7 months later it still has that smell 😂
Thanks for mentioning the arm's length. I'm tall and my sleeves are short on most of my xl shirts. The excess length might work in my favor.
Thanks for the review, I am also looking forward to buy one of their Racer jackets and saw quite some reviews about Thursday's leather jacket and mostly being positive, they do point out that zippers aren't that good, although Thursday boots Co. provides a lifetime warranty on their zippers, so whats your take on that?
I haven’t had any problems with my zipper as of yet, but I also haven’t worn it that many times

Thanks!! Yes Thursday does recommend sizing down, I usually wear a 10.5, but with the boots I wear a 10, and they are still quite roomy. Hope this helps.

No I haven’t purchased their belts. The jacket and boots are not an exact match but pretty close, they are different types of leather
The jacket is not suede. It looks a bit boxy
They have since added the athletic fit, which fits a bit more snug

No, at the time they did not have the different fit options so I’m assuming it’s relaxed

So I believe this is something new Thursday is offering now, when I bought my jacket there was only one fit so I wouldn’t know what the difference is, I usually get slim fits on almost everything. But it depends on your body style.

Thanks for the review,I am too a fan of tobacco coloured leather, I just wish Thursday boots co. made the cafe racer jacket in a simple Brown ( not a Matt version like the tobacco) which would develop a beautiful patina over time.
Thanks! Yes I think they should definitely have that color as well, though the natural color they have is also very cool and should develop a very nice patina overtime as well

They do run a bit big, Thursday does recommend to go down 1/2 a size

I didn't get it either. Their website lists THE SAME sizing on the shoulders (my usual problem) for athletic AND slim? Don't make any sense lol.
