Pitster Pro XJR 110 was way too slow with stock 14 & 41 tooth gearing. First gear was useless. Put on 17 & 35 tooth gearing. Did not have to modify stock chain length. Definitely improved top speed yet good low speed in 1st gear and possibly still too slow to be really dangerous.
The 125 (120-124) will be faster as it makes its peak power at a higher rpm then the 110 (107). There for it can and will get to a higher mph and hold it then the 110 (107). Gearing would be something else to look at with the 2 as well.
My pitbike says 120 on the side of the cylinder so that means it's a 125? I have a spare engine that says 124 on the side I wonder if the heads are also different in these Chinese engines or if they are all the same
If it says (120) with () around it that's what it is. China rounds up from 120 and the most comon # is a 125cc. I have a 110 and it has (107) if you measure the bore and stroke .785 x bore x bore x stroke = answer then divide that by 1000 that's your cc meaning it's actually a 120cc China just rounds to 125 because it's easier. If it's a true I man true 125cc it will have 27mm intake and 24mm exhuast valve. The heads should be the same. EXCEPT the head bolt patterns. Depending the China manufacturer the head bolts will be .025-.030 possibly bigger. From Corner to corner x patern. It can be used on the smaller cylinders I use both a cylinder and aftermarket head on y 110/(107) Zhongshan engine. Actually does work regardless of the bolt or studs being further apart. 🤔 regardless of all that the valves protrude into the combustion chamber at the same angle yes! Just so you know the Simi automatic trans have a longer gearing in side the engine transmission then the manual clutch engines. A 120 with a true 125 27mm intake 24mm exhaust valve head if it has the correct stroke will hold up top in the rpms if you choose the right cam and tune the carb right. Be careful the cam does have more play to adjust the cam timing to correct specs that's if you know about a degree wheel and how to use one..?
@@rncboy2 oh ok yea I changed the head from the semi automatic one to the manual (120) because it looked like a smaller combustion chamber but maybe that's because the other header has different valves imma have to check thanks for the info
do you know where i can get the 125cc and which exact model is it? id really appreciate it. this video is dope and im looking foward to buying one of these
I bought one for my daughter's first bike ever when she turned 12. The salesman is a friend an told me to save the money an get the ssr and to go ahead an get the 110dx and teach her to use the clutch. Honestly it's been perfect . She road day one and had the clutch and gear changed figured out in a few hours. It's been a Lil over a year and a half of almost daily fun.
Any pit bike is a safe bet or you could try a crf150f, TTR225, or another trail bike like that. Trail bikes are a great first bike because they are relatively low maintenance bikes that last a long time. Pit bikes are also good because they are cheap in price.
@@bearkreekboys first of all thanks for replying to my comment since you uploaded this video quite some time ago. I was just wondering cos the bike looked small. I’m 5’7 so if I had a 110 cc it would prob look the right size for me
Don't get them a 50. A 110 is a perfect bike for that age. Just stay away from 2 stroke 65s too fast for a first time rider. My now 4 year old rides a 50, she started at 3. my now 10 year old started on a 110 when she was 7 and she quickly outgrew the power.
I'm jealous for the amount of fun that you guys had
Pit bikes are key to any man's heart
That's really close boys! Looks like fun!
You jumped the start man, 110cc wins by disqualification
Some one has a 110
more races soon im keen good video keep it up
I had a 2018 ssr 125 and the back rims started to fall off I might get a new one
Good job 👍
Great video

I’m havin a hard choice between getting a kxf125 120cc off fun bikes website or the kxf 110 Wich would be faster
I'm unsure what you r referring to. Klx 110 vs?
Wool a 250 lb person ruin a 50cc motor or will it just be slow?
That's a little hard on that small of a bike but it would just be slow
@@bearkreekboys okay thanks I didn’t want to break my sons bike lol
Ayyy bro nice video im gonna g’et the 125cc next week!!
Sweet they are awesome! We made lots of videos with these pit bikes!

I really want that 125cc dirt bike bro 😢😔i really want that 🥺
I want a tao tao because thay are cheap af, but ive heard that it has no front break and you cant shift em is that true?
Depends which model u get. Some are auto matics and some are gear shift.
@@bearkreekboys ok, im more worried about the front brake tho, im getting a db14 so i wiuld like to know
Which one would be good for a 8 year old? 60 pds
I would say an SSR 70 is best. Had our nephews start on them they are 10 now. SSR 70 has good speed and power. 110 and 125 might sit too tall?
Hey bros, what do you recommend for a 13yr old starter bike 5'10 140lbs??
Any experience with bikes previously?

Makes a big difference if the bikes are tuned right too🤦🤦
125 vs pw80??
Pw80 will smoke it in top speed
