Thanks for comparing, I was wondering about the SSR. The Honda stings the wallet but sounds like its worth it considering the fit/finish, fuel injection, and resale value.
I have a crf50 and a crf300l. Just bought a used crf110 to upgrade the 50cc for my son... The 50cc and 300 are smooth as butter. The 110 however has a noticeable, albeit small shake when idle. I can most notice it when looking at front wheel when idle. In your experience, does that 110 of yours have any shake, especially when idle?
Im a honda supporter but in this case Im going for ssr. Theyre a pitbike, They should be loud and enjoyable and something easy and cheap to learn on. If you want a honda atleast go for 250 or higher.
Cheap? Everything used is selling same price as new. I can get an SSR 110 used for $600. On no planet am I getting a 110 from one of the big 4 for less than $2500
@@comment_deleted where are you purchasing bikes not to mention what size bike because if your paying $2500 it should be like a 250cc If your buying a kids sized crf110 or a crf80 or 85 you can pick one up in good condition for around $800 you pay for what you get and you do have to spend time and shop around but you can find it
Also yes the newer bikes can be expensive anything post 2010 Plus another benefit is quality they might be old bikes but parts are everywhere and its built to a higher quality standard cant say the same for the Chinese bikes built on budget and time crunches barely meeting quality control if your just getting into it or your kid is and you want a bike you dont have to work on 24/7 go name brand i suggest honda or kawi or ktm not to mention suspension quality and motor quality plus chasis quality spend $2000 on Chinese junk thats brand new or spend $2500 on a used quality bike its up to you
I'm 6'5 265 and my SSR 125 bashes like a champ.

@@alexbillups8519 hello
Here in AZ the CRF 110s sell for the same or more than what they cost new. It's crazy.
Same here, little brother had a used 50cc crf and sold it for 1700. Insane

Got a 21 ssr 110. Runs like a champ always 1st kick.. few upgrades carb n levers n whatnot.. rips all day.. broke plastica though
I like the ssr125
I just bought the xpro storm dlx 150cc, in my opinion it’s a slight step up from the ssr and it’s only about $1000

Anyone who’s even slightly decent on a bike would snap the ssr in half so quickly if they had it as a pitbike
@@aoplinger622 If you snap any bike in half you shouldnt be on a bike 👀😂
