  • Some rare footage of later BIGFOOT III from 1992, just months before it was converted to Safarifoot! Most people think of the old bull nose body when they think of BIGFOOT III, but it got the newer Ford fiberglass front clip later in its life, fuel injection was added and then it was modified with 10 seats in the back to give fans a ride in an actual monster truck. Ol' III was put through its paces here, getting some pretty good air for an early-style leaf spring, very heavy monster truck.

      Back when monster trucks were trucks. Not a fan of the fiberglass and stuff now. If there was a way to mix the two. Bigfoot 8 was already on circuits and getting band in 90. It was the predecessor for the suspension we have now

      It was used as a ride truck throughout most of the 1990s if I remember correctly and donated to the EMT financial fund in the late 1990s. It spent most of the 2000's and 2010's operating under a different name "Legend" and these days it's in the hands of a private owner who is slowly but sure restoring it to it's former 1982 glory.

      No, the newer Bigfoot trucks from 1989 up to 1992 had really good suspension. This truck being one of the older trucks that was built back in 1983 was utilizing the suspension tech at that time. At this point in time the newest truck Bigfoot 10 had a really high tech suspension system.

    • @kjc472
      @kjc472 Год назад +1

      It really wasn't. This truck was 9 years old by this time and the suspension was pretty much the same as in '83.

    To Whom It May Concern:
    Hello, my name is Brandon. I come from a small town in Kentucky, and has been a fan for the past 3.5 decades of Bigfoot. I have had the fortune time watching him race, and do Ford Store demonstrations. I still have a bunch of vintage Bigfoot toys that I play with occasionally. The reason for writing this letter is to ask you all to facilitate a life long dream of letting be behind the wheel of the bast Monster Trucks around and let me drive Bigfoot. Would you all help me achieve this? I await your reply.
    Signed;
    Brandon
