You do a excellent job of showing us how you go slow. So a person, my age can go and do it a little at a time. Thank you for telling me where to buy my wire also.❤
You are an excellent teacher. I’m excited to try this out. My wire wrapping is not great. This gives me the confidence to keep trying. I’d like to add some gemstones, but the gauge might be too big. Thanks for your help. Love your channel.
I love the way you made this ring so gently and carefully done! The last video I watched was not good for me! Could not follow the pattern as well as yours!!! You are a great teacher and very special person! Thank you for your patience and confidence!! Katrina Phillips look for more of your teaching!!
Wonderful video and what a very pretty young lady you are. From trial and error as a person that had carpal surgery on both wrists I learned that you do not have to start the knots at the bottom for extra pulling but that you can start then right under the previous knot. A crimping tool also works great for tucking those wires after cutting them.. (Great cleaner for copper) I work mainly with copper and it turns like silver does..I use 1/2 cup white vinegar and a tablespoon of salt, stir then drop your piece in and viola ! Almost instantly a new penny shine and if you have glass beads or stones it also sanitizes them..then just rinse and dry well. The long pieces that you are cutting off make great french ear wires also...Thank you for your demonstration.
I’m new at the rings but I love necklaces and bracelets but I ran into your channel by accident I’m glad because you have so much insightful knowledge and a great personality with all due respects !!!! You have a new sub here!!!! Yayyyyyyu
Thank you so much.....This is the best wire ring Design I’ve seen .....could a stone or bead be added anywhere ...and if so could you show us...also would like to see your annealing demo that you mentioned...great demo and close enough so we can really see ....thank you🤗
Thank you so much! I appreciate it! I’m sure you could find a way to incorporate a bead in the center but it would take some playing in order to figure it out. I’ll have to do a technical video on annealing sometime soon!
New sub. Ive wanted to make a knotted ring for my best friend who's last name is Knot. Always ended up a mess. Lol. This was a great tutorial, easy to follow. I used s.s. wire, came out gorgeous. Thank you for helping me make an awesome gift for my best friend! Love this channel.
I just happened to see your vid link and was intrigued by the design of this ring. Your instruction is very clear and the ring seems doable! I'll definitely try this. BTW, just subscribed to see more of your handiwork.
Your tute was really good. You took it slow, kept everything in front of the camera instead of out of camera range. This makes me want to try it. I’ll watch again! Thanks
Love the pretty design. You do beautiful work. But will it turn your finger green? Is there something you can coat it with to prevent that? Did you know you can crochet wire?
Thanks! It could turn your finger green if you have acidic skin and if you don’t coat it. You could use a clear coat of something over the top of it or Ren Wax. I did know that, thanks! We actually teach wire crochet classes here at our store. Our instructor, Jenni Swartz is pretty famous for it and we’re so lucky to have her.
I love this! If I didn't want to do the annealing process, could I just use dead soft copper wire and dip in liver of sulfur to give it the same effect? I really like the design, regardless. Thank-you for sharing.
Just an FYI... Pro Polish Pads do not remove scratches or tool marks. All you are doing is giving them a nice shine so they're not as visible. To remove marks in your metal, use a Dremel with successively finer grits of sandpaper--then give your piece a nice polish. Pretty ring, BTW. I made it in sterling and love it.
I respectfully disagree. I’ve used them many times to actually remove surface scratches and tool marks from my projects as have hundreds of my students. They’re a “micro buffer” and have micro-abrasives which help to gradually remove the top layer of metal, much like how a Magic Eraser works. When you use them enough, you can actually see the metal you’ve buffed off appear on the pad! For deeper scratches, yes, I agree, a dremel tool would be best because it would be faster, but for very small surface scratches, I’m happy to use a buffing pad. I’m glad to hear you made the design and I bet your ring is absolutely gorgeous in Sterling! Thanks so much for your insight and for watching and sharing! 💕
I'm wondering, to maintain uniformity of the ring loop sizes, if you could've used those bits of scrap wire you trimmed off initially to hold the two loops of the ring together, while you finish your coils, by wrapping them in a couple of places?
wow this is a great tutorial! thank you for acknowledging some ppl may not be able to do things and making it accessable!
You do a excellent job of showing us how you go slow. So a person, my age can go and do it a little at a time. Thank you for telling me where to buy my wire also.❤
I noticed you said it was like a knit stitch but it’s actually a macrame knot. I wouldn’t have thought of doing a ring like that, it’s cute.
Love this ring!
Thanks for always providing detailed instructions!
Your instruction is so precise and up close making it easier to follow. Good job!
Your a very good teacher.

Wow! That’s stunning and I love the way you teach us, you explain each and every step and that makes it soo much easier to follow. Thankyou❤
You "manhandled the mandrel"! Cool ring design Abbi!
Thanks! I was thinking it would be cool to enamel the front part in a cool color to make it look more like knitted yarn.
Great idea!

Hi Abbi ..I have enjoyed your tutorial,,please tel me the kind of copper wire you r using is there a plastic coating on it like so many have today?
Great Stuff definitely going to make this given me so many ideas with this knot thank you for the tutorial . Brilliant : )
Thanks so much! I'm glad to hear it!
I tried about 5 times to make this ring. I get about 3 done and it then it just doesn't work.
I just happened to see your vid link and was intrigued by the design of this ring. Your instruction is very clear and the ring seems doable! I'll definitely try this. BTW, just subscribed to see more of your handiwork.
Wow, thank you so much! That means a lot!
I find that using my crimp pliers to squash down that last wrap gives a very tight, smooth end to those coil wraps.
That's a great tip! Thanks for sharing!
I liked the tutorial, and subscribed. Looking forward to checking out your other videos, and trying to get the same lovely results!
Thanks so much! I appreciate it!

Thanks so much!
What kind of wire is that? Also, where do you get a buffer pad like that? Love your tutorial thanks!
Did you make the silver ring you ware? If so I would love to see how it’s made🥰
I did! We have a video tutorial for it that was posted to our channel about a month ago!

where do you buy your polish pads?
Good

Yep! Definitely! Annealing the wire makes it dead soft so you’d be a step ahead if you started with dead soft wire. Thanks!
Hi, Abbi. What flush cutters did you use when making this ring? Thanks.

Could you do the pattern all the way around the ring? Gonna try this now!! Very clear instructions...
I don’t see why not! Thank you!
