  • Hello and welcome to my latest tutorial…
    To make this ring you will need -
    • 0.8mm wire (20g), 2 x 8" (21cm)
    • 0.315mm weaving wire (28g) 100cm (I wind mine onto a bobbin, but you can cut lengths as you go if you prefer)
    • 4mm bead.
    I no longer put links to tools on here.
    The tools I use are:
    • Tronex needle nose pliers
    • Tronex short round nose pliers
    • Tronex razor flush cutters
    • Beadsmith flat nose nylon jaw pliers
    • Occasionally I use tronex bent nose pliers
    • Occasionally I use heavy-duty wire cutters
    • Occasionally I use xuron needle nose pliers
    • Bobeeze bobbins (medium size with no extra weights)

    You are a wonderful teacher. Just the right amount of time explaining the technique and why you do it that way. Thank you!

    My main astonishment is that you do the beautiful wireweaving and STILL have amazing nails! Whenever I mess with wire, my nails are chipped and split and broken within a very short time. I resorted to gel nails to push wires with :D

    • @KellyJonesJewellery
      @KellyJonesJewellery  10 месяцев назад +2

      I tried gel nails but I couldn't get on with them 😅 I love my nails and they do chip, I have to file them after each thing I make (I'm extra careful too, I know it doesn't look like it sometimes) 😅🫣 thank you 💕❤️

    Hi Kelly!!! You’re just so totally awesome! I am astounded at your abilities! Everything you create is absolutely beautiful! Do you realize what an inspiration you’re to so many? I know you’re to me! 😊 The explanation that you give in this particular video is so very important to beginners. I don’t know 🤷‍♀️ of anyone else who “teaches” each and every important step to such a wonderful degree. How to hold it, where to, taking your time, bringing into it your own experiences and lessons along the way. Thank you so much from so many of us I’m sure! Please keep making your insightful and delightful videos. They mean a lot
    In my personal growth
    and passion with the wonderful world of wire working!!! 😊❤

    So happy to hear you work slowly when weaving. I’m very critical of the neatness of my weaves & thought I was the only one who preferred to take my time. Love this ring! No video is complete without Gracie snoring in the background. 🥰

    You absolutely rock! I’ve followed your work for a long time and have learned so much from you! The quality of all your tutorials is top notch and the paid ones were totally worth it! Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing your knowledge! Oh and my family loves when I do my awesome accent and tell them to keep everything “Nice and Tidy”😜. You need Nice and Tidy merch! I know I’d buy a shirt/sweat shirt. Maybe you already do? I haven’t been on Etsy for awhile(long story😡). Anyway thanks again👍😁

    Hi Kelly-I love both these tutorials and the ones you sell on Etsy. I’m a beginner at this and your stuff has been so helpful. I think I have probably every RUclips you’ve done saved and bought maybe 10 of the ones on Etsy. Maybe I’ve missed it, but have you done a ring band that’s got a gap opening on the bottom of the finger side so that the band is adjustable? My mom has rheumatoid arthritis and can’t get rings over her knuckles anymore and I would like to make her one that she can bend apart a bit to slip directly on her finger and then squeeze a bit so it fits her finger. If you don’t have a tutorial anywhere like that would you be willing to create one either here or in one you sell on Etsy? Thank you so much!!!

    Do you use emaleted wire or just pure copper? Does these make your finger green? 🤔

    • @KellyJonesJewellery
      @KellyJonesJewellery  3 месяца назад +1

      I use bare copper, if you keep it clean with a polishing cloth you'll be fine. Give it a rub every now and then, it's the dirt that goes green, the natural oxidisation, so clean it off before it goes on your skin 👍

    • @KellyJonesJewellery
      @KellyJonesJewellery  7 месяцев назад

      I try and keep it short, I do cut a lot out but I want to keep a lot of information in. I've found that when I'm watching tutorials too, you can always play them in fast forward, theres a time setting on your RUclips screen, you could speed it up?
