It's really nice to hear a speedrunner commenting about how much they love the game while they're running it! I feel like a lot of the time the stress and tedium of running the same game and the same segments over and over really gets to people and they start to take it out on the game, which is totally fair and understandable. It's just nice to hear the opposite for a change! Amazing run of an amazing game
Omg It took me about 5 years to finish the game because of the final boss and I'm not kidding and this guy got it in 55 min, a thousand respects bro and you're amazing.
I only beat this game once, unawarely, i had platinum. So I didn’t struggle with items on boss rush. The last phase of the boss always had my hands sweating. Never noticed how Record was so OP. You literally have double the bullets and invincibility. I didn’t use it much because the game will stick your recorded Blinx to the buttons (that required 2 buttons pressed at the same time). Great memories. Blinx did left a mark in my childhood, there is times i code a game (not a pro) and add some time puzzles. I still struggle with rewind but slowly getting there.
Sweet run. This game is one of the happy places of my childhood ✌️such a unique style and atmosphere. Too bad it doesn’t get more attention. Congratulations!
Is it only in platinum you can keep the spike balls between boss fights? I’ve been playing the version on gamepass and it doesn’t let you carry them to the next boss fight which seriously sucks.
There are some exploits you can use to make the final boss rush easier for example if you lose all your hearts during a boss you can restart the stage and fight the boss again instead of going to the beginning of the boss rush

Yep. I never made it past the final boss (back when I was 12-ish, or whenever). Doubt I’d survive even half *that * long at 31…
