but didn't he abandon one of the sisters on an island and forgot to change the sail to a white one which made his father think he was dead so he killed himself?........
You may be thinking of the story of Io, who was turned into a cow as Zeus' attempt to hide her from Hera or Hera herself turned her into a cow. Io, while still a cow, gives birth to Keroessa, who got lucky since her only bovine traits are horns and maybe a tail (which her name means "the horned"). Keroessa was concieved (of course meaning Zeus was able to force himself upon Io) while Io was still human so that likely plays a bit in why this bovine child ended up looking different compared to the minotaur. Overly Sarcastic Productions covers the story of Io so I suggest checking that video out.

so err...the king left the baby minotaur in a maze, without actually checked the baby minotaur's dietary requirement, and just decide that minotaur eat people and keep sending people inside a maze. While given that judging from the minotaur's family tree, that minotaur would have a higher chance to actually to be a herbivore or at least a omnivore.
