“Will It Bodhran”: “One,” “Running Up That Hill” and “Wipe Out”

I tried some pop and rock songs to see if you could play along with them on bodhran. Mostly this was an excuse to take a closer look at songs from the drummer’s perspective

It’s called a “Snare CarpHED” from Hedwitschak drums (a lot of my gear is Hedwitschak stuff these days, I’m kind of a fanboy). It’s a great little effect, and I’ve been using it more and more lately.
You can order them from either the bodhranmaker.de or bodhran-info.de web sites if there’s not a local dealer.
