Drilleth i read that sylosis is on hiatus so that Josh can do a tour with Architects. Hopefully after that. But at least Josh will be on stage in the US for a bit.

Hey Josh, your playing is really inspiring. I've been playing for about 16 months, and your technique-videos are really helpful. Extremely nice guitar too, I'm looking to buy a new shred guitar but ESPs, Jacksons and to some extent Ibanezes are difiicult to come buy here in my country.

Nauris Nātra im not josh but for software i recomend and also use EZ drumer, it sounds so good (presets everywhere) and its so simple to use

Hey Josh, how are you liking the Duncans compared to your usual EMG set up?
SDRmusic He's used them before even before he was endorsed by EMG, he's always preferred the EMG's over everything hes played, at least Sylosis related generally, he would sometimes use his bk holy diver but mainly the 81 and 85 (in bridge), but now just the 57/66 combo. You can check out other vids where says it, the fear the world lesson hes using his jb, in the les pau vid in the comments he talks about swapping the holy diver for 57/66 since they're his main and fav set now

the Machine I don't know if Josh will be using the Horizon for future Sylosis material. But he did use this guitar while on tour with Architects
He used a similar one that belonged to Tom but not this actual one in the video, as he only got this after the tour.

Is this the horizon you were playing on the architects tour? Absolutely amazing looking instrument! how does it compare to the mh1000's? I have a mh1000 circa 2006 in the same finish and I've been gassing for the proper horizon version of it!

I have wanted THIS SPECIFIC HORIZON for soooo damn long...then I read a pretty convincing article about how string through body hard tail electric guitars have been obsolete for decades. All the string through hard tail design does in reality is kill your tone.

Bryan McHugh this might be one of the most ridiculous nonsensical comments I have ever seen.
Pardon me, let me restate what I posted above. Apparently there are not many Super Strat style hard tails that do not have the strings through the body. Yes it does technically kill some sustain thus some tone. Was not trying to say when you hit a string on the stellar Horizon all you hear is "meh" then with distortion and lots of volume- "MEEHHH".
I am not about to buy some overpriced Gibson with a wrap around hard tail bridge either though. Damn axe shopping is painful these days...Still not sure what retailers have the best in stock Stateside supply of US made Jackson's and Japanese made ESP's..

3 YEARS after my above post I now own 2 string through hard tails. The first is a Jackson Made In Japan DKMGT and a black burst E-II Horizon hard tail. I hereby take back anything bad I ever said about hard tail string throughs. I love Gotoh locking tuners forever.
