I have an old-school Mazda B2000. The truck has a hidden immobilizer which acts like a kill switch. Fake kill switch, GPS tracker, alarm, and a steering wheel club (deters amateurs). Also have a carjacking feature with my immobilizer. It kills the truck 30 seconds after being carjacked. Instead of the 10-second warning from immobilizer, I have that circuit operate a relay, and 2 car horns behind the seat start blaring.
I love the horn idea was thinking of this for my hyundai. When they break loose the trim a horn from a old car inside the cab would make you want to leave. I just did an analog kill switch to the starter which required the exhaust manafold to be removed to bypass. You could do it in about and hour but engine would be in pieces. Thanks hyundai for not protecting consumers from theft.
Good content . GPS trackers are a must . One of the cars in my rental car fleet was stolen from a repair shop. The only reason I recovered it is because of my GPS tracker. With higher risk cars such as Chargers and Challengers, you absolutely need at least two trackers or even three. You also need at least one wireless tracker for deep concealment if the primary wired tracker is disabled.
Thanks for all the info and the great news I've been looking at that about a year online thinking should this alarm be the right thing for my truck and I see you are a very honest knowledgeable man so thanks again.
Not being rude but no one wants to find their car, they don't want it to be taken in the first place. We need security that prevents theft not locate a crashed vehicle.
I mean I wish I had a tracker on my truck before it was stolen it was found but pretty sure thieves were never caught as it was still in my city and gps could have located it for police and maybe found out where they had it parked some damage but still drivable
I have 2020 Dodge hemi. Already, they tried twice trying to steal it. Just got it last month. Lol, yeah, 2 times. Broke the back window. They had the whole kit and all. Caught them running away in another stolen hemi lol
They have GPS blockers. They smash the windows to get past locks. They cut wires to stop alarms. Now they have signal copiers that copy your keyless device signal and open and start the car with that copy on their computers.
Sooo what happens when the take the obd out? Do carlock notify you that it was unplugged at least?? They simply just need a way to make windows more difficult to break in in the first place.
It has battery back up and like I said in video I suggest hiding and securing unit elsewhere in car to protect better the viper if you take battery power off car its dead this had battery back up built in provides all tampering by sis text and app in phone all the time but in for the price a better deal. We do viper as out hardwire units and been with them for over 18 years. With battery back up viper is the best but for the money amd ease clock has made me a believer. Trully
My trackhawk was recently stolen in Dallas. Thankfully, my GPS services helped me recover my vehicle. From what I understand, most thieves check the OBD port so what would prevent them from simply disconnecting the device and tossing it out the window. How would you track the vehicle at that point? Am I missing something?
I installed a fake OBD port in the stock location after purchasing my Car Lock. I also disconnected the neutral in the center console because I will most likely never need it. My keys are always in a signal blocking faraday pouch even when I’m at a restaurant.
theres a video of a guy stealing a car at gunpoint but couldnt drive manual and the driver ran off before he realized he wasnt going anywhere without his help lmao but the ones who really know what theyre taking probably know stick already
It would be awesome if it disabled your car completely. This is a pretty cool device but I dont want to watch my car on my phone flying down the highway.
What keeps the thief from disconnecting and throwing it away? I mean, aren't they going to look for these? I went old school and bought a boot wheel lock.
Be aware that any vehicle that sits inside a garage for extended time (like 2-3 weeks), a system like this can kill your battery. This happened to my ‘15 Mustang GT (twice) that had a similar system. To prevent battery drain, drive the car more often than I did.
@@AUDIOCAT Actually, it depends on how much you use the car. My ‘15 Mustang GT came with a GPS tracker system that plugged into the OBD. At the time I had another vehicle and the Mustang would sit in the garage for as much as 2-3 weeks before I drove it again. This killed my battery, twice. So, if your car sits in a garage where the GPS unit has trouble connecting to the satellite, it will be in search mode which uses more power. So, be sure you drive that vehicle more than I did or it can kill your battery.
Would this work hand and hand with another alarm system? For example Compustar? Compustar is great too but this has the quality gps tracking feature along with that neutral stopping plate that makes me think I need both
The purpose of GPS is to have it hidden were the thieves has no access to it . What's the point of installing it in the ODB plug and the thieves has access to it . This is the same gps that car dealers install on the new Dodge Vehicles, called Lojack by Spireon. Its a waste of money. Here in Miami brand new Hellcats are getting stolen, and they are not getting recovered because the thieves know where the GPS is installed.
But if the GPS is plugged into the car can't they just grab the GPS out? How can you hide it if it's plugged into the car? Because the mount is connected pull out the plug into of the car and you got the GPS
Thieves use the obs to reprogram keys. The obs pug is the first thing they will look at in many cases. This product can simply be unplugged. This not anti theft at all..
Most of these young broke bums out here are using the autopad device or similar they hook it up to your OBD 2 port & reprogram a key to it not sure how car lock would defend that it plugs right into the same port the device the thieves use to reprogram a key fob
The real question is do your really want to help people and prevent car theft or looking to make a quick buck on a cheap product sold on amazon? your video just exposed this products vulnerability to car thieves if it did have a 20% chance of it actually working.
Respect your opinion but not in agreement with you. We have recovered 8 cars in the last 2 months thanks to these systems. But your opinion is your and and I'll respect atleast that.

I bought the Destroyer 1320 neutral block off plate too. I also use a steering wheel lock, and a signal blocking pouch
Where did you purchase the neutral block plate from?
We sale them but you can get from destroyer 1320 audiocat for discount code
@Badd_Scat392 which style steering wheel lock did you go with? Looking myself for something effective
@@suprememath1018 I went with the double hook yellow club

Man bought my first charger and this video was great and very informative! Thank you!
This with other stuff such as airtag is fantastic. More the better for these situations. Thanks for the vid
What do you think about removing the fuel injector fuse?
Starter fuse
Carloc , apple airtag ,ignition kill switch, wheel locks and steering wheel alarm lock and I sleep good at night 🌙
Ordered one and used your code homie! Thanks for the content.
Not being rude but no one wants to find their car, they don't want it to be taken in the first place. We need security that prevents theft not locate a crashed vehicle.

We have recovered 9 cars no damages beside reR glass broken as they let them sit for a fee after theft

AirTags work if they’re android users.
Sooo what happens when the take the obd out? Do carlock notify you that it was unplugged at least?? They simply just need a way to make windows more difficult to break in in the first place.
If it goes off I'm killing
If you disconnect it from the obd all they have to do is yank it out. Viper VSM550 1000x better hard wired and you can hide it anywhere!

Is it true that having a manual/stick shift car is a good deterrent for car theft?
*LOL, TOTAL OPPOSITE!!*

Car lock is awesome! The thieves only had my car for 37 minutes, before being carted off to jail.
What good is this if it’s gone already !! I want a system that prevents them from getting in and starting .
Be aware that any vehicle that sits inside a garage for extended time (like 2-3 weeks), a system like this can kill your battery. This happened to my ‘15 Mustang GT (twice) that had a similar system. To prevent battery drain, drive the car more often than I did.
this unit also has a voltage sensor that when it goes to a low point notifies you also so you can start up and keep good

Yes but bad cause if they clone key they in car and gone
Is there an option for the locker with those vehicle you can insert an object in the space beside the shifter??
