    Wow!!!! Thank you!! My grandfather S. Rust was one who came from Germany and had many kids with my grandma.. and now I have a little more understanding of what happened. He passed before I was born.

    It's such a crazy and weird feeling to see the german people and hear them speaking like my Jamaican friends...

      Why ? Would it be weird hearing people of African ancestry speaking German ?

    Do you go back as to the 1830's when the Germans (@ 1,000) migrated from Northern Germany to Westmoreland? I believe my maternal linear grandmother 3x removed was a German - Jamaica (born 1846). Her sister name virtually all her children German name back in the 1880s-1890s, one of them was famous in your country during the 1950s, Ferdinand Smith I have never been to Jamaica but virtual all of my maternal ancestry, mother and father were born, lived and died in Westmoreland and Seaford Town.
