Hey guys, if you're interested in reacting to an Indian movie, then I'd like to recommend Brahmastra Part One: Shiva. It's the best VFX work done in an Indian movie ever. It's also the first film of India's first cinematic universe, the Astraverse. It's available on Disney+ in English dub as well as in original Hindi with subtitles.
This movie is literally bigger and better than the original, but also answers a *ton* of questions about the Tablet: 1.It shows how the tablet works with *fictional* characters, paintings etc 2. It actually gives us backstory on where the Tablet came from as well as the history behind the pharaoh's family, confirming that they are technically the only real "real" historical figures in these movies. They're not representations brought to life, they are straight up resurrected by the Tablet Also, Amy Adams as Amelia Earhart was a *treasure*
I love how when you guys first introduced Stella and Hayley, I was like “oh….random humans?” because I don’t like change, but in this video, I was like “WHERE IS STELLA?!?” 😭😭😂
its honestly insane how stacked the cast of these movies is who would have thought :D they did quite well with this sequel, very tough to live up to the first one since the moment of surprise isnt there anymore and the magic is just not the same but its still a good one :)
This movie made me fall in love with Amy Adams, she's the best part of it and I mainly love this movie just because of her. It sucks that she isn't in the third one.
The original script for this movie was crazy, because I think it was revealed that Kamunrah killed his brother Akmunrah in his sleep. That or he poisoned him. Either way, it was a bit too dark for a kid's film though LOL.
Mor'Du murdered an entire castle full of people and countless others during the duration of his cursed, in Brave. I think they could have still gotten away with revealing more of how one killed the other. Disney does it all the time 😅
The common consensus on that turning the tablet off only works when it’s one of the whatevers is turned prior to sunset and otherwise remains active regardless of it gets turned during the night.
I don't remember Bill Hader being Custer at all 😂 and when I was little, the part where he tries to say Sacagawea had me weak af!! This is also the movie that started my obsession with the Smithsonian.
@@bookworm598And the beard and heavy makeup in fact I say Bill Hader's General Custer is almost on par to Robert Downey Jr.'s portrayal as a Black Man (Kirk Lazarus) in _Tropic Thunder_ as they look so unrecognizable.
This one is my fave out of all of them. The villains are hysterical! And Amy Addams' character was so wholesome! It basically took Robin Williams' part from the first one... wise wholesomeness, just with a more adventurous side!
Fun fact - Napoleon was actually taller than average for the time (taller even than Wellington) the myth stems from British propaganda. Also he wasn't actually French but Italian, and so should've had an Italian accent in this movie.
I have seen this film at least five times more than the first one. I think it might be because you are already familiar with the premise and the characters, so no time feels wasted. Or perhaps because of the new characters: Amy Adams and Hank Azaria as Earheart & Kahmunrah are brilliant and hilarious throughout the film. There's so many funny lines in this film that my family will still quote at each other: A little grain of cous-cous, I'm thinking, popular baby names of 1984 and so many more. Love how this series really seems to care about history, the discussion of modern technology replacing actual artefacts, the acknowledgement of famous failures like Custer etc. The third film is a nice end to the series. I still haven't checked out the animated film, but it looks alright. Glad they didn't try to drag out the live action version.
Absolutely love this movie! It was the perfect sequel and aged really well. The back and forth between Ben Stiller and Johan Hill and Ben and Hank Azaria had me dying of laughter. And good catch on the music from National treasure during the day Smithsonian scene. I believe it’s was an actual arrangement of that motive from National Teasure’s score.
Fun fact! Jake Cherry, who plays Nick Daley, would play the child version of Jay Baruchel (Joey Motorola/Hiccup) a year after this film in The Sorcerer's Apprentice with Nic Cage.
Despite the fact that I love this movie in all its entirety, it also saddens me that they didn't go with the original script. In it, Akhmenrah also came with them to the Smithsonian, we also got to see more bad guy shenanigans, we also got to find out what had happened between Larry and receptionist girl from last movie, and I overall felt like it went into more depth with Amelia, such as how her sense of direction is always off being a more recurring joke. The original script also featured the aftermath of the Smithsonian battle when the morning guard arrives to see the whole mess and the script leaves us off with seeing a re-waxified Amelia sitting on the wing of her plane, watching the sunset.
This film has such a stacked cast looking back. Ben Stiller, Amy Adams, Robin Williams, Owen Wilson, Steve Coogan, Hank Azaria, Christopher Guest, Rami Malek, Ricky Gervais, Jon Bernthal, Bill Hader, Jay Baruchel, Mindy Kaling, Craig Robinson, Brad Garrett, Eugene Levy and all 3 Jonas Brothers (apparently).

Four years ago I got to visit most of the museums in DC and work with the Library of Congress as part of my Fall internship, the best experience of my life. DC is such a wonderful city and the Smithsonian is amazing, can't wait to visit again!
For me, the things that save this movie are Amelia Earhart and the Tuskeegee Airmen (who are LIVING IN THE MOMENT). It's not *bad* but I like the first and third ones better.
Huh…I didn’t realized there were subtitles for when Able and Dexter were talking. All the time I’ve watched the movie there weren’t subtitles at that scene.
Nobu is looking especially well in this video! Keep doing whatever you’re doing, you look great and extra smiley 😊 great reaction as always guys, really enjoyed this reaction 😊
When I was a kid, I loved Night At The Museum, Enchanted and was a huge Jonas Brothers fan. So this movie was a blast to me. And even now as an adult, whenever I listen to Fly With Me and hear the sound of the plane at the end of the song, my mind remembers Amy's Amelia and I get shivers. Love it.
Alright, I didn't see anyone else point this out, so it's clearly up to me: Hank Azaria's voice as Kamunrah--the accent and the lisp--was an impersonation of BORIS KARLOFF, a legendary classic actor especially known for his work in early horror films. Specifically, he was the ORIGINAL mummy, from The Mummy in 1932! Of course Azaria would choose to reference that here with his own ancient Egyptian baddie! Love your guys's reactions! Keep up the great work!
I remember going to see this when it first came out in the cinemas, but I genuinely didn't remember a good portion of it. The parts I did remember are kind of funny though. I remembered Amy Adams as Amelia, everything in the Air and Space Museum (because I had recently been to DC and that was the museum we had spent the most time visiting), the Teddy bust bit, Sacagawea (but specifically her just being so over Custer), Lincoln (but specifically just the first part when he's swatting the pigeons) and the hourglass. Which are very disconnected memories, I feel 😅 I forgot pretty much the entire beginning of this film, hahaha.
This to me was a fun follow up from the first movie. They jam packed it with even more things than the first! I thought it was a great touch to have various art pictures and models come to life. It's been a while since I last watched this one, I had totally forgotten some of the better known- now actors, that weren't so known then was in this movie. I loved Amy Adams in this, and to hear you James wonder what- Moxie was lol, made me feel old! It's a term from what I remember started in the 30ties and flowed into the 40ties. I remember hearing it from a few vintage movies of the 40ties. It just meant you have-Grit, a fire inside, determination.
It's really not that uncommon to find lookalikes so having someone in the modern day that looks like someone from the past without being related to them isn't that uncommon. For example, one of the most popular recent ones was a civil war soldier who looks a lot like Nic Cage.
Amelia Earhart was making a trip across the Pacific when her plane vanished. I subscribe to the theory that she crashed on Nakumaroro and was eaten by coconut crabs
As an FYI, if you ever do plan to come to DC to go to the Smithsonian, be sure to visit your rep and senator webpages they can. Set you up for tours of Federal buildings. Look for constituent services they should have a subsection for visiting DC, do it as far in advance as possible
This movie was such a childhood nostalgia. Every now and then i always come back to it. Its such a mid movie that is so much fun and enjoyable. Ngl, when i was a kid, i would chereograph thag fight sequence with my friend😂 there was no need for them to play gloriana for that fight yet it fits and works so well😂 and the domt cross the line scene was one of the funniest scenes in a family comedy. Big shout to hank azaria though. He knocks it out the park with this role. Dedication right there to give a 3000 year old egyptian king a lisp yet it works on so many levels and he does it well. Incredible stuff!
I feel like not enough amazement came from the fact that, seen as the tablet only resurrects stuff, this film actually meant the Egyptian underworld was real, regardless of the museum 😂😂
i rmbr loving this movie when it came out, watched it a bunch of times. haven't seen it in years and now that i got to rewatch it w you guys it just reminded me of how good it is. definitely adding it to my comfort movies now
The guy who was doing mission control in Air and Space played mission control in Apollo 13 as well. 😂 They did so much great casting with these movies.
Another excellent reaction! I think what’s amazing about this film besides the action and the comedy is definitely how they give us more background of the tablet’s powers and this one night reignites Larry’s passion for the museum and the figures who reside in them. Lincoln’s dialogue is hilarious as well; “…I never lie!” Also the fight between Larry and Khamunrah is one my favorite duels in movies in general. I can’t wait for the third film reaction! Better have those tissues ready! 👨🏻🦱🐒🐙🤴🏻🗿 🚀✈️⏳🗡🔦
The Smithsonian is a a great place to go to. I went with my 8th grade and the teachers didn’t realize that two of the Smithsonian buildings are connected by an underground tunnel until a couple of them that went across the street to see if they should bring us found some of us in there. Hank Azaria was the perfect cast to play Kahmunrah. His voice acting gives him an excellent range. The two girls giving Ahkmenrah a bad time in the museum is the directors daughter.
Once you are done with this you should totally check out "Around the World in 80 days" . It has the same actor who plays Octavius as lead ( I forgot his name) and Jackie Chan. Its hilarious. And then maybe check out Shanghai noon and shanghai noon w Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson
Hi guys I love your reaction to Night at the Museum 2 I'm here watching this in theaters a long time ago so excited see you guys want the third one soon.
This channel reaction always makes my day, it’s seriously the best 😄 Between the first two I did enjoy this one more (plus young Al Capone is dang hot lol 😂) Haven’t seen the third so I’ll need to check it out. Thank you for bringing us another great watch!
I highly recommend the 1993 legal thriller THE PELICAN BRIEF from the novel by John Grisham. Directed by Alan J. Pakula. Starring Julia Roberts as a law student on the run after witnessing her lover and mentor getting killed in a car bomb after he showed her strong evidence against powerful political figures including the President Of The United States. An investigative journalist, played by Denzal Washington, teams up with her in order to solve this case, otherwise it will be too late for both of them. UNDER SIEGE 1992, starring Steven Seagal, Gary Busey, and Tommy Lee Jones. In December 1991, Seagal plays a former Navy SEAL now working as a cook on the soon to be decommissioned battleship USS Missouri, tries to fight off a former CIA operative and his men after they hijack the ship in order to steal nuclear tipped Tomahawk missiles by demanding a $100 million dollar ransom. BLOWN AWAY 1994. Starring Jeff Bridges and Tommy Lee Jones. Jones plays a former IRA explosives expert who escapes prison to seek revenge against an old colleague played by Bridges, by targeting his new friends and family in Boston.
I am not sure if anyone has pointed this out yet, but incase you guys couldn't tell (cuz it's hard to notice) the 3 stone cupids are actually the Jonas Brothers xD lol They scanned their faces for the CGI design, recorded themselves whenever you hear them singing, and even did a funny skit as a promonital bit with the director of the movie, Shawn Levy, that still cracks me up to this day xD ruclips.net/video/LzxlqQnC1oE/видео.html
I still love clint howard getting his lifetime achievement award in acting, they jut say clint and talking about all the movies he was in, westerns, and so on *forget if the mentioned star trek* and your like clint eastwood, and then they announce howard :> Great slight of hand.
Who is your favorite historical figure that wasn't in this? Mine would be Alexander the Great!
Amelia Earhart, Amy Adams was perfectly casted in that role.

Oh my god, Astérix & Obélix Mission Cléopatre is an actual comedic masterpiece

Lincoln’s dialogue is hilarious as well; “…I never lie!” Also the fight between Larry and Khamunrah is one my favorite duels in movies in general. I can’t wait for the third film reaction! Better have those tissues ready!

Hank Azaria as Kamuhnrah steals every scene he's in.😅😅😅
I love the art exhibits come to life in movie 2 and 3. First movie was creative.
Fun fact the cupids were voiced by the Jonas brothers
You'll love "La" the caveman in 3rd one!!!!
bro great editing and reactions.. im trying to watch while doing other stuff and i have to keep stopping to react with u guys.
Steve Coogan
I love Around the World in 80 days, it's one of my favourite childhood movies
This movie even had the Jonas Brothers
Hi guys I love your reaction to Night at the Museum 2 I'm here watching this in theaters a long time ago so excited see you guys want the third one soon.
And I think moxie means passion or willing to take risk
The Jonas Brothers play the singing cherubs
This channel reaction always makes my day, it’s seriously the best 😄 Between the first two I did enjoy this one more (plus young Al Capone is dang hot lol 😂) Haven’t seen the third so I’ll need to check it out. Thank you for bringing us another great watch!
I remember this one more than the first movie for some reason xD
Kamenrah is sitting in Archie Bunker's chair... FYI (was installed in the Smithsonian in the 80s)
Various museums trade exhibits for limited time. Rotation is common.😎😎👍👍❤❤
Hayley never saw Bill Hader blonde?
Maybe she should watch SNLs 'The Californians' :D
Yes The Californians!!!
I cried at both endings of NOFTM this ending and last one
That’s New York City about Lincoln statue
