James, Nobu, and Hayley are reacting to Night at the Museum 3: Secret of the Tomb and we meet Hugh jackman??? This movie isn't perfect but it does manage to offer an end to the series and it is both sad and beautiful to see Robin Williams in this film.
Rest in peace.
Enjoy this first time watching Comedy movies reaction to Night at the Museum 3

I just want to say rest in peace Robin Williams and Mickey Rooney.
Would you guys consider reacting to more Robin Williams movies? ☺️
😭. And it's from my sister's love of Judy Garland that I got to know Mr. Rooney's work, and I was never disappointed and he was such a nice man.
Are you guys going to watch the animated Night At the Museum movie
What about night of the museum 4
💙💜 I loved Robin Williams, watched him my whole childhood. I miss him all the time, wish he was alive making more movies, but since he's not, I cherish the ones he was in.
“Smile my boy, it’s sunrise”What a touching on screen last line to come from Robin Williams. It always brings me to tears. I didn’t expect myself to be sobbing when I went to watch this
Idk if it counts or not but I thought his last movie was the one where he voiced Simon Pegg's dog
@@BroZilla-vh3tuI think that's why they specified "on screen"
"I have no idea what I'm gonna do tomorrow..."
"How *exciting* !"
This exchange still gives me goosebumps to this day. No joke, its one of those moments where hope, wonder and a genuine love for life is put into film form.
R.I.P Robin Williams you absolute legend
Fun Fact:
The final scare Teddy Roosevelt gives was actually unscripted and was kept in because it was both funny and such a good nod to the original
i watched that scene for the first time in years the day of my graduation and i bawled my eyes out haha
I remember seeing it in theaters back in 2014 and when it came to Robin Williams' final scene, I literally shedded a tear and sobbed softly. Night at the Museum was such a fun, and creative trilogy and I really miss it.
There’s an animated one on Disney +.
Me too
👆👆👆 Congratulations you have been selected among my winner of the week massage me to acknowledge your price 👆👆🎉🎊
Yes I watched it on the theater too! Truly nostalgic moment 😢 also final goodbye to our legend Robin Williams
The moment where Teddy says, "I don't know you," is a bit unsettling and tragic in hindsight with Robin Williams' health later on. I was recently in San Francisco and the Waldo Tunnel has been renamed the Robin Williams Tunnel, complete with a rainbow painted on the arch, much like his suspenders on the show Mork & Mindy. It's so moving.
Yeah this whole movie had that effect for me
Hey can you guys watch hocus pocus movies with the girls on here and run hide fight the daily wire movie . It’s good
The surprising impact of that ending scene with Robin was astronomical. It still makes me cry.
“Smile, my boy….it’s sunrise.”
The Hugh Jackman cameo was hilarious! Lol!!
👆👆👆 Congratulations you have been selected among my winner of the week massage me to acknowledge your price 👆👆🎉🎊
Wolverine vs Legion
This movie will always be special because of Robin William's amazing job as Teddy Roosevelt. His performance was uplifting and warm considering his condition at the time and how much work it took.
The documentary "Robin's Wish" explains the rare illness he lived with. It was made by his wife as a way to create awareness.
43:03 that line hit hard, especially since the timing of the movie was right after William's death
People didn't like this!? I thought it was the best one, it had stakes and emotional impact, Lancelot was fun as both an oblivious side character and an antagonist, it carried over all the major characters from the first film, Ben Kingsley also threw in some great scenes with his short amount of screentime. It was well-paced and enjoyable to me, plus the Hugh Jackman cameo is a great use of one, even got in the X-Men movie leitmotif.
but it does hurt that this was the last movie before Robin's death, of course there were posthumous releases but this did feel like his farewell
I saw this movie in theaters with my mom, mostly because it was Robin Williams' last role. And I definitely cried like a fucking baby at the "Smile, boy. It's sunrise." Because that felt like Robin saying goodbye to his fans to me.
OK I was waiting for this movie so I can rant about Ahkmenrah
He isn’t made of wax nor is he a statue that’s his actual body that’s been mummified and preserved
And every night with the power of the tablet he comes back to life at night
And in this movie we see what happens without the power of the tablet
So he dies and decays every night!?!!!! That’s gotta be horrible for him 😱
That is such a wonderful detail!!
@@whitenoisereacts This is something I’ve prob thought about way more than the people who even made this movie thought about 😂
I had this thought since the movie came out, and because of that, I had thought that maybe Kahmunrah wasn't the real Kahmunrah since he became frozen like wax. However, thinking about it now, perhaps Ahkmenrah became flesh and blood the first night he came to life and only remained in a frozen state ever since then. With this idea, only when the magic dies, does he return to his mummified state.
I actually prefer this idea over the old one as this idea allows Kahmunrah to be real. Beforehand, I saw it as a continuity error.
He doesn’t seem to feel any pain when he was transforming so I guess he feels the same as everyone else when they turn inanimate
@@dinoboiis8147 I think he does feel pain because in all of the scenes when he is decomposing, he looks like he is in pain and he is grasping for air and trying to stand up.
love that since its his first time coming to life, lancelot had a buzz lightyear moment where he's sucked on his own story rather than realizing he's not real
To answer your questions about Lancelot:
There is technically no "original legend" of him because he's not a member of the old Arthurian mythos in any way like Merlin or Arthur himself. He's literally an OC that was created by a french writer centuries after the fact to be the best knight, better than Arthur even, and to be the secret lover of Guinevere, which was seen as a noble form of love at the time as it can never be publicly recognised.
Its only as the centuries went on and cultural norms changed that this started being seen as a bad thing and Lancelot became more gray of a character.
Hell, the whole Holy Grail storyline and Galahad (his bastard son) were created specifically to admonish his character and paint him in a much more negative light, almost as a knee jerk response to his levels of "OC do not steal".
You could even make the argument that Lancelot's actions ultimately lead to the fall of Camelot, really cementing Lancelot as an antagonist of the mythos.
From there tho, people have picked and chosen how to interpret his character ,as he really can go either way between a hero ,a scumbag or even something in-between (which are the BEST versions in my opinion), making him a really versatile character for the mythos even tho he wasn't part of it initially.
So, long story short, Lancelot has technically always been a complicated character, but usually he's represented as an honorable and talented warrior with noble intentions, who is frequently led astray by his vices.
Well he was in Monty Python and the Holy Grail .... So he must be real!
Yeah, most of what people think of as "classic" Arthurian myth and imagery was invented by the French versions
@@jazzycat8917 And even later romanticised by the Victorians!
1. HUGE ACKMAN is a household meme here.
2. My wife and I saw this in the theater. This was shortly after Robin Williams died.
"Let us go, Lawrence" damn near broke us both.
38:54 hugh jackman is actually very good friends with the director shawn levy who's also going to direct deadpool 3 featuring hugh's wolverine !
Funny little fact, the capuchin that plays Dexter is a girl named Crystal. She was also in movies like Hangover Part II.
OH MY GOD i just watched the hangover movies for the first time recently (and boy they do NOT hold up but thats beside the point) and I KNEW I had seen that monkey before and this just makes so much sense so thank you
In other reactions, I've mentioned that Kahmunrah might have not been the real Kahmunrah (a theory I've believed for 8 years).
This was due to the idea of Ahkmenrah returning into a mummy every sunrise, while Kahmunrah remained motionless like wax (which would be a continuity error). It was never mentioned what state Ahkmenrah was exactly in during the day, from what I remember, but because of this movie, I had assumed he returned as a corpse.
Now, re-watching this movie here, I have come to the realization that Ahkmenrah could have returned to flesh and blood on his first night and into a frozen state thereon after. That would mean that he becomes a corpse only if the magic dies. This makes sense since the magic is what keeps him alive. With this theory, Kahmunrah was more than likely the real one.
I'm probably thinking way too much into this, and it might have very well been a continuity error, but regardless, I'm abandoning the old theory, and embracing the new one.
I remember the day I heard the news that Robin Williams died of all the celebrity deaths I heard in my life has really made me devastated and I’m just thinking I can’t believe he’s gone to this day I still can’t believe he’s gone and seeing this movie in theaters it just broke me.
RIP to Robin Williams and Mickey Rooney.
👆👆👆 Congratulations you have been selected among my winner of the week massage me to acknowledge your price 👆👆🎉🎊
RIP Robin Williams and Mickey Rooney.
I looooove Jed an Oct's "bromance" {i ship it..}
It also took me a min for it to hit that when they were "dying" turning back to wax n everything, Dex and Ahkmenrah are literally dead bodies an are turning back into a taxidermized animal and a mummified body.. like damn... so dark n sad an I really did love this one.
Cept for the son, cause he seemed like a whole diff character compared to the first two movies. Like I get interests change but he seemed like a mature, bookish, smart kid an now he's wanting to DJ an party? idk it was odd xD
A bittersweet experience. The final performances of Robin and Mickey Rooney. As much fun as I had, it was sad to know that yhe series was going to end here.
I used to think this caveman was Tom Cruise in disguise, now I see it's Ben Stiller 😆
It’s the Liv and Maddie Effect
👆👆👆 Congratulations you have been selected among my winner of the week massage me to acknowledge your price 👆👆🎉🎊
2:19 You're right, that IS Percy Hynes! 😁
i actually forgot this third movie existed. Revisiting it brings back lots of memories.
Also, love the dynamic between the four of you!
Aww thanks so much man!!
As a history nerd I absolutely love these movies, especially seeing Robin Williams as my favorite president, his final line always makes me tear up. I think these movies were great to teach kids about the wonder of history and why museums should be treasured, but did so in a way that was fun.
Also the whole conversation with the parents talking about Jews always cracks me up, especially the "we get together once a year and talk about it" line lol 😆
When he’s talking about the Oedipal stuff he means the resentment of the father part 😂😂
Remember when, in the first movie, Larry got thrown away a lot and you guys commented about how he should probably be dead or at least seriously injured? Well, I don't know if this was the intention but if you combine the fact that the tablet brings "new life" to the old night guards in the first movie, and here it is said that "newborns" (aka the people being affected by the tablet for the first time?) are stronger... That could be an explanation for Larry's lack of injuries
(Or maybe they just wanted some slapstick comedy and ignored the consequences because this is a comedy movie, either way, lmao)
the goodbye from robin williams was for real😔😔😔😔😔
Surprisingly enough I actually enjoyed the 3rd film more than the 2nd Night of the Museum movie, but not as much as the first film.
However what the 3rd film did better than it sequel was that it gave more background on the Tablet and many of its characters who were sidelined in the sequel such as Teddy Roosevelt play a much larger and supporting role in this movie.
Thanks for the reaction you guys.
I cried at Robin Williams' final lines. It was sort of farewell for us. This is how id like to remember him.❤
Hugh Jackman?! What a treat!
Just to clarify, the lady in the beginning IS the mom from Diary of a Wimpy Kid
This movie of night at the museum is very amazing from showing the origins of the table.
👆👆👆 Congratulations you have been selected among my winner of the week massage me to acknowledge your price 👆👆🎉🎊
Did anyone else notice that the dinosaur in toy story 3 and this dinosaur are the same kind and have the same name
No I totally missed that!!
@@whitenoisereacts I literally just realized it today for some reason🤣
Man this movie is so emotional because of Robin’s last movie wow I miss him.
I'm so glad Stella was back for this one, her humor, snarky comments, astute observations, personal experience (Pompeii!) and emotionally devastated expressions were just... *chef's kiss*!
I know what happens but it always gets me when Ahkmenra starts turning into a corpse...that sounds so horrible and painful
Love how it was "the mum from Diary of a Wimpy Kid" for you and for me thats 100% Doctor Linda Martin from Lucifer😂😅
Fun fact the caveman that was blocking the door is actually played by Ben stiller
It's visible, no ?
To answer your question about why Lancelot isn't affected by the tablet's malfunction; I think it's because it's his first night "alive" like the other exhibits in the London Museum. The problem is most likely only affecting the main cast due to them having spend decades in the main museum, thus "saturated" with the tablet's energies for so long that the decay affects them by proxy.
You think? That was literally explained in the movie. There's no "think" about it.
oh my gosh, Sir Lancelor is Legion from X-MEN 😵😵😵
No because I am SO excited for the princess diaries
the animated sequel is pretty good despite having different actors for the most part
👆👆👆 Congratulations you have been selected among my winner of the week massage me to acknowledge your price 👆👆🎉🎊
That Kid is actually Xavier from Wednesday lol
The kid is Cecil, old nightwatchman
I teared up watching this towards the end. And Robin Williams had such an iconic last line.
this Movie is simply wonderful,as if it were a bonus for the fans, it doesn't need an elaborate story is a prize for whoever love the trilogy...💖✨
omggg can't wait for the princess diaries😍
👆👆👆 Congratulations you have been selected among my winner of the week massage me to acknowledge your price 👆👆🎉🎊
These 3 movies are my comfort movies, always cry when it ends 😭
I recommend:
The Page Master
The Spiderwick Chronicles
Bridge To Terabithia
(I saw these in my childhood)
The third one actually is my favourite out of the three. 😄
The kid at the start. I looked it up and you were right, he is on Wednesday and does play Xavier.
There was Greek statues come to life in the scene from weeping angels from doctor who
I'm sorry I just really have to ask... Are you guys going to react to the fourth one? If you do, you truely are going to make my day!!
I had forgotten about that part when they went inside the MC Escher painting. I love Escher!! (It’s the staircase one)
Great words of Robin Williams
Well, since the T-Rex was named "Rexy" then it only stands to reason that the Triceratops be named "Trixie". So I'm glad they named her that. And yes, I fell in love with her the moment I saw her. I've _always_ had a rather big soft spot for the Triceratops. Maybe because she had to be around Sue and friends and deal with their perpetual bad moods ... and er, hunger. Also, I hadn't realised until this movie that the young Egyptian / Pharoh was actually _the_ real human and not a wax replica like most of the rest of the exhibits. So he's a genuine human that is genuinely over 4,000 years old. You'd think I would have figured that out sooner, since you know ... he _was_ a mummy after all. Although, considering they usually remove the organs including the brain upon embalming, I _do_ wonder how he's able to think and stuff without a brain. Even with a magic tablet to reanimate him.
I thought this was fun, maybe just a bit.. because of the Hugh Jackman cameo that it's the best. There is a very short list of people I go nuts for, he's top-tier.
As for movies 4, and we at home joining yous, I recommend Tremors 1-3, and of course the must see Killer Klown from Outer Space, or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live action 1-3
This movie was a nice heartfelt wrap up to the series. I was so glad to see Dan Stevens the first time I watched it as myself and my sister's are big Downton Abbey fans. Plus the huge bonus, of Hugh Jackman was such a awesome surprise Omg! I of course are a Wolverine fan too. Hugh really is the whole package of entertainment. 😁 I also remember when I saw Robin in this, that he was thinner. I swear I know I can't be the only one who wishes they could save him. He was perfect as Teddy. 🙏
That was superwholesome to watch!! Thank you guys. At the moment I'm pretty sick and have to stay in bed but you made my day so much better. 💕
Why didn’t Larry use his damn flashlight to bash the window? They’ve already wrecked like half the museum already he’s got nothing to lose 🤣
They actually filmed some of the movie in the British museum
You can't really blame Lancelot for trying to steal a priceless artifact from another culture.
He spent his whole existence in the British Museum.......
that was a perfect roast
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
As an Indian..can't agree more😂
Damn, these old night guards must be well over 90 if Cecil is supposed to be this kid in 1938 :D
The first movie did say that the tablet made them feel younger
I love that the last scene with Robin was him giving hope and adventure back . and that he had his woman on his horse. loved it all.
yay, I googled part 3 yesterday, hoping I could find a free version. sadly, no. just had to wait one more day til you posted this reaction. the trailer looks really interesting. this is the only one of the three that I never saw.
The defibrillator they used on the snake would never be allowed for use by any layman! It’s not even the same model or style that you’d see in a public place. It’s the type we’d use (and did use on the ambulance). And, yes, it could actually be used as a makeshift weapon if necessary. But you couldn’t use it in rapid succession for defense. It has to recharge up between discharges which can take a few seconds or up to a minute depending on the voltage you need
I would agree it isn't as good as its predecessors, but it is still a fun movie to watch. The ending is nice too, in its own way, especially with Robin's final line. It is also left open-ended if Larry would ever to return to visit, but feels like he didn't/wouldn't, but because of how much his museum friends meant to him, one would hope that he did either go back as part-time or visited. Though, if you watch the 4th movie of the "series", Disney+ animated movie, it seems to throw some plot points from the trilogy to the side.
And while it isn't as well known, but Garuda, the little metal statue with wings warning the team of the hydra, was actually Robin Williams. I think I remember hearing when the movie was released that when they were trying to figure out who to voice it, Robin, in his comedic fashion, started to talk in jibberish. The directors liked it so much that they decided to give the role to Robin.
I thought it was alright, but I'm still disappointed that they were in the British Museum, yet didn't meet Winston Churchill... or William Shakespeare... or Oscar Wilde, Henry VIII, The Beatles, Lady Godiva, Charles Dickens etc. Imagine if they got J.K. Rowling to play her own wax likeness!
Come to think of it... if Sir Lancelot was on display here, where were all the *other* characters from the Arthurian legend?
All 4 of you should do a Mummy Trilogy reaction.
So much fun thanks a lot!
26:25 Fun fact: the garuda is featured on the heads side of the coins of the Indonesian rupiah.
(The country used to be predominantly Hindu before it adopted Islam, and the island province of Bali is still mainly Hindu.)
First time watching this, and I cried tears of joy, and sadness...❤
The animated fourth film that came out on Disney +
I really enjoy all of your reaction to Night at the museum 3 Truly I I'm ever watching this movie in theaters a long time ago in lake Havasu , I wish they'd make a 4th one but because Robert Williams is gone They couldn't but I believe that they did make a Night at the Museum show on Disney plus.
I mean I remember watching this Movie in theaters at lake Havasu.
Disney + has an animated Night at the Museum on it. All different voice cast. Love all the reactions.
Little spoiler, robin Williams did do another movie after this, BUT cause he died they never published the movie, it was Mrs doubfire 2 he was doing when he died
Great reaction guys, had a blast watching it. I'd say check out the new animated film, it's sort of a sequel, but I can't really say it's canonical with plenty of things not making sense.
In regards to filming in museums, they did film a bit in the British Museum, at 23:39 you can see the Queen Elizabeth II Great Court of the Museum, I've seen it myself and it's beautiful. (I'm British so I would say that). But for other parts there were soundstages used. I also spotted the room with the Elgin Marbles at 17:53, a long debated collection whether it should be returned to Greece or not, idk if that was a recreated set though.
There's something rather hilarious about the trilogy how often it flaunts its rule/continuity breaking. Like in 1 we have the tablet must be aligned to work, not an issue in 2.
And in 2 Jed nearly dies in sand, despite Teddy got cut in half in 1 and was just fine.
Then there's the Gate to the Underworld with the tiny missing fragments of the tablet that's in the Smithsonian not NYC Natural History Museum or the British Museum, for some reason.
Also were Ahkmenrah & his parents always coming to life pre-1983, they kind of act like that wasn't the case.
It's also hysterical how no entry in the series addresses the absolute devastation that the museums suffer, it's like a running joke.
Regardless I love this series for its unique concept and fun ideas it comes up with. It's great seeing Dick Van Dyke and the other two back for a little bit, and the reveal he helped discover the tablet. Also love how this film continues the existentialism of the displays, with Lancelot being a legendary figure.
And it still has some really funny moments, Ricky Gervais is hilarious as always, that bit when he's pretending to still be the director of the Museum cracks me up.
There is a fourth Night at the Museum movie...however ..
1. It's all animated
2. It took place between the second and the third movie
3. It's not really worth the reaction tbh
Wheelchair Gus, is Micky Rooney...movie star for decades, married numerous times, died at 99.
YOU MUST SEE "IT'S A MAD, MAD, MAD, MAD WORLD" HILARIOUS!!!😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
The beginning reminded me so much of The Mummy with Imhotep or reading about King Tut and even other tomb raiding films. I am glad i am of the generation who has access to those films because it taught me to never ever open a tomb or if locals start saying there is a curse I ain’t getting anywhere near it.
I do like the idea of a world visiting of the museums like the Louvre or there is a museum in Japan that has these awesome 3D/lights and oh it would be awesome. Some museums may be best for not taking the tablet-Vietnam war museum for example.
I knew you guys would love the Hugh Jackman scene I kind of wish Paul Rudd’s character had shown even for a brief cameo that way we could’ve had Ant-Man and Wolverine in the same movie. However we did kind of get Khonshu-Moon Knight- in this, granted it is the Khonshu not a comic version but still.
The final Robin Williams scene it hit hard the first time watching this after he had passed, but now watching this with you guys some many of his other lines it just heartstabbing. Rip to the legend.
Cant wait to see what other movies/shows you guys react to!
Already know this reaction will be awesome lol
👆👆👆 Congratulations you have been selected among my winner of the week massage me to acknowledge your price 👆👆🎉🎊h
Ben stiller arguing with himself for essentially the entire movie is just amazing 😂
All 4 of you should react to The Kung Fu Panda Trilogy!
Still crack up at Larry's Ape Man!!!😁😄😅😆😂
Ya´ll should really react to Mrs Doubtfire and 9 months with Robin Williams
I love all 3 of these films. I do believe this is the weakest out of the trilogy though. Feels like they took too long to figure out how to fix the tablet. I think if they stayed at the New York Museum, they would’ve figured to put it in moonlight eventually. I do say this is the weakest, but I still do enjoy it. I don’t know if you guys saw the end credits, but there is a tribute to both Robin and Mickey Rooney. I wish Robin was still with us today. May he forever Rest In Peace. 🕊️
“Smile my boy, it’s sunrise.”
How would they have figured out that they need to put it in moonlight? There's no logic jump to moonlight being the key.
@@belladonna869 it's the third movie....they've had to deal with weird shit before....they would've figured it out eventually.
trivia-room 416 room is in the movie Some Where in Time C. Reeve.
These were great movies. They have a fourth one on Disney+ that’s animated.
I would really like you two to react to the movie 'planet 51', it's a 3d animation movie they released in 2009, it's really cool! he shows the aliens' perspective of what it would be like if a human astronaut arrived on their planet, thinking he was the alien, not the other way around.
it's a really good and underrated movie that i feel is not as well known :( i really wanted you guys to react to it!!!! please 🥺
29:50 yes, it’s electricity 🤣
A fun group movie series of sorts that I would recommend is Short Circuit-just trust, lol.
I was looking forward to this reaction to be honest because I don’t remember nothing from the third one
I don't know if you guys have already watched The Box Trolls but I would love to see you four all react to it!!😭💕 it's my favorite stop-motion movie
STEVE COOGAN AS OCTAVIOUS IS GREAT!!!❤
