Careful with turning on the last option. If you take them out and set them down and drop or lose them, like in bed, you can't use sound to locate them because they are off. They don't register until you long press the button to turn them back on, or put them back in the case.

I would like to add that turning on the equalizer (yes equalizer) also reduces battery life for about 1.5hrs. So for you to get the full 8hrs, you have to switch off ANC, equalizer and DSEE.

DOMAT well might as well just get AirPods or galaxy buds if you’re going to turn off those things off. Lol. I’m not getting like 5.5 hours from mine with DSEE, ANC off but I tweak the eq.
ANC off is good enough noise canceling for me, but I don't use public transportation and I live in a cul-de-sac in the middle of the woods.
I agree mine only lasted like 2 hours with that option

you can't.
The easiest way to connect is through nfc.
The buds just have to be out the case and than tap it. Press connect and you're done.
You wont have to wait or look for the buds.

The sound is amazing the only thing that I do not like and had to take these bubs back it's the fact that if you put your left earbud back into the charging case it disconnects the earbud in the right earbud where you cannot hear sound. Sometimes I do not like to have both your bubs in ear. I should be able to continually listen to music without having both earbuds in ear. for the price of this product.
It's a setting you can change in the app. I just discovered it with my new set. "Stop sound when 1 is off". If you turn of the option, it will keep playing with one earbud in. If you don't want to turn it off, you can re-press play with one earbud off, and the audio will continue with the remaining earbud (even if the other is charging).
About the sony Wf-1000xm3, my left bud is not working even though it says it’s charged and the lights are working. It’s just not connected and not working. What can I do about that?

I got them for free with my Xperia 1 ii! Thought they were uncomfortable at first, but then I tried a different earbud. The xs silicone and now they're comfortable!

Mine have a static/wind sound when I have noise cancelling on and listen to videos on RUclips. They are faulty.
They're meant to be that way. They mimic white noise machines to help tune out background noise so if you're listening to nothing at all, or a video with a lot of sound pauses, you're going to notice it.

@@gdaymates431 not constantly but if you turn on noise canceling and there are spaces where no sound comes through whatever you're listening to, such as pauses between speech in a youtube video or a podcast, you'll pick up some white noise. On mine, I noticed it when I toggled noise cancelation in a quiet room with nothing playing through the earbuds, so I know it's there, but I dont personally notice it while I'm listening to something.

try disconnecting the earbud from your previous device, then reconnect to the new one.
hi, i watched your video on how to connect them with my laptop. thank you very much. my only issue is, there is sound-stuttering when i'm listening to music. did you experience this problem and know how to solve it? it didn't work properly with a bluetooth dongle, either. i have no issues on my mobile phone at all ..
never had that issue, check your EQ setting or try reset the buds.

Hello there i know its been a long time and people had a lot of experience with this headphone. I am having a issue with connectivity. I connected the headphone with my phone but when i'm putting my left phone back in the box right which is still in my ear gets disconnected. I was using galaxy buds for a long time but never had an issue like this. Left one is playing independently. Right headphone doesn't. Any solution please
Ok so I just got these yesterday but I've notice that they die so fast on a full charge they don't last me more than 3 hours, are mine defected or am I doing something wrong.
You need to download the Sony earphones app and full update the software. It's a pain for me because it took like 20 attempts but I'm stubborn. finally it updated the firmware which took almost 30 minutes. Once you connect to the app you need to go into the sound tab in the middle and turn off ambient sound and scroll down and turn off DSEE HX (this upgrades the sound in low resolution sound to restore the highs). if you are getting less than 5 or 6 hours with these two things turned off then your units need to be returned. I had a refurbished unit before and clearly the batteries had been used up and not replaced before they were resold. I decided to buy a new set on Amazon for $200. This unit is known for long battery life so 3 hours even with the noise cancelling and sound upscaling is turned off is a sign of a worn battery.
@@porscheoscar yea I figured it out, if you look it up online, there's a link to Sony's site where they explain in a chart how long they last with all these features on, so I turned them all off, and now they last me all day, I did not know these features drags the battery down by a lot. @@kratosofwar6165 try the comply foam ear tips for nosie isolation. They have the sport too. I have very narrow ear holes so I tried a set of Comply tips from my old Sennheiser Momentum HD1 and the tips are narrower. I take a q tip and apply a small amount of CeraVe moisturizing cream on my ear and the tips don't make a crackle or pop from the foam expanding. First ear tips And buds I can wear for long time with no discomfort

You can charge the case with the earbuds inside and can charge it without the earbuds inside. Both is possible👍🏽

Very little, only if the person is very close to you in a quiet environment.

There is no other way to power off the earbuds except the 2 options you mentioned. Or you can set up the device to automatically power off when they are not in the ear for about 5 minutes.

I recommend turning off DSEE HX if you want to save battey. It barely makes a difference, unless you are using MP3s and shit. It's like a 1080p upscaler, but for sound is how I'd describe it.

It's not normal because you can it to any device. Make sure the earbud is not connected to any other device then tap and hold both earbuds for about 10 seconds to activate Bluetooth.

It should work on both earbuds. Check out your settings or possibly rest the buds and reconnect it to you device.

Do the earphones connect for you as "WF-1000XM3" or "LE_WF-1000XM3". Sometimes mine connect as one, sometimes as the other. I have read on forums that the WF-1000XM3 should be the preferred connection but it seems to connect as "LE_WF-1000XM3" more often, implying it is connecting with Bluetooth Low Energy? The question is, if this is a better connection, or is there some compromise with audio quality?
Mine is connected as WF-1000XM3 and I have never had any connection problems.
LE is on Samsung phones. It does that with my note 10 plus.

you can add the battery case % in the settings of the app.

To show the battery percentage of the case put one of the ear buds in the case, then it will show in the app.
Can you turn them off without waiting for 5 minutes?
When you put them in the case, they automatically turn off but if you happen not to have the case at the moment, just put them down and they will turn off after 5 minutes.

yes, just disable the adaptive sound control. I have never turn mine ON, I love the ANC and it’s always ON because I disabled the adaptive sound.

What if you turn them off and can’t turn them back on?
That can’t happen because when they are off, you just have to pick the up and put in your ears and they will automatically turn on. They can only stay off when their batteries are dead.

So I just got a pair of these, and I am not impressed. Looking for a nice second set to compliment my Soundcore Liberty 2 pro's ....... these are not even close. My Soundcores have bass that rumbles even some of the lowest of frequencies and highs that are super rich, sad to say these Sonys can't match them. Wish I had went with the Sennhisers.

Ambient sound control off is just normal; no ANC or ambient sound
To better understand the difference go to a noisy environment and try.

The earbuds has great bass and that's why the volume is not too loud. Just turn on ANC and 50% volume will be enough.
