I said this VERY thing on another theory video of a possibility of a black diamond. She would know everything about corruption as well as knowing how to reverse it. I want to see Black Diamond. I'd copy and paste what I said on the other video talking about black diamond....but don't feel like it. lol I want her to be her own Diamond though, and not a fusion. She'd look down on Blue and Yellow Diamond for not being able to win Earth, and so...she went down there and showed them how it was done.

We know that she had access to at least green, yellow, blue, white, and pink crayons, so she could've chosen the colors of the diamonds to represent them, but no, she chose black for all three of them...

I think the Diamond that Rose is fighting isn't Pink Diamond. I think what Rose is holding is Pink Diamond already shattered. I think maybe she used the shattered pieces of Pink Diamond as a weapon, it is possible to use gems as power sources, so why not weapons?

This theory seriously blew my mind, I had NEVER looked at the mural or the Era 2 emblem that way! It makes so much sense, it's scary; the minuscule detail in the emblem, the temple diamond, the mural diamond, and especially how the corruption happened! Even if Black Diamond isn't a physical fusion, you could say she is the mutual agreement between the remaining three Diamonds to leave the Earth for dead, and to try to take out as many gems as possible who remained there. Even if she isn't a physical fusion, she could be a fusion of the Diamonds'' voices (or whatever they used) to corrupt the Earth; a fusion of light, energy, and song.
If black diamond is a fusion between the diamonds there should be two gems on her chest not one,btw amazing theory

Black Diamond being a fusion of the other three makes sense. I mean, technically, a black diamond is all carbon, just like a white diamond, but some of that carbon is in graphite lattices rather than diamond lattices, giving it an opaque black color.

This is the most thorough and compelling mural analysis I've ever seen, and I've seen quite a few. I went from "you just pulled that outta your ass" to "I'm so absolutely down for this theory" regarding Black Diamond in like 30 seconds. Keep it up!

Brad Geffrard Yeah, he's good at sharing theories and providing a lot of evidence, unlike some other people who make theories on the tiniest little thing ever. The reason I did say it was farfetched was well, we don't have a clue if the Diamonds have ever fused, I don't think any of the current characters even know if they did(except the diamonds). It might've been a machine, it might've been a magic ritual, it might've been this ancient song of Homeworld that could heal or corrupt Gems. Who knows? I also wonder, why does Black Diamond only appear in the Temple thing? (Which the CG's blew up) The only things we have for this theory is the current GDA symbol and that one Gem structure. But well, I'm behind his theory.

Brad Geffrard Well that does make sense. The fact that the fusion, aka the power to corrupt, is only available to the Diamonds would make them far stronger than anyone initially thought. Oh boy, the CG's got a lot more work to do.
In all honesty, it's a pretty good theory, and one that could actually work considering that the diamonds are all one type of gem (diamonds of course) and their fusion wouldn't be so rule breaking because of it.

I think the main mural with rose and the diamond actually looks more like rose presenting Pink Diamond's gem to white diamond. Hence the colours of the figures and the fact there is a diamins shape hovering above rose's hands.

The only problem I have with this is that 'Black Diamond' probably wouldn't be called 'Black Diamond'. In all honesty, the fusion between Yellow, Blue, and White diamond should probably be a Black Opal. You know, since Black Opal's are ten times more rare and expensive then Diamonds. Plus, Black Opals reflect all colors of light. Yeah. All colors, like how gems are made of light and there are multiple color Diamonds involved in the Black Opal fusion. I rest my case, and am to name the fusion between the supreme leaders to be Black Opal, instead of the so called Black Diamond.

YodaWithASoda I agree and also, they don't base it on how expensive the gem is. I believe they base how strong/hard or what the characteristics of the gem are to determine their power so Diamonds are the leaders since they're the strongest/hardest gem.

You know how people for the longest speculated that it was actually White Diamond? Yeah, well I think it's abundantly clear now that it's not. So, who is it? After careful consideration, I believe this Gem is actually…Moissanite. An extremely powerful and rare Gem, and I think she was actually in charge of the Earth's Diamond Moon Base.
Moissanite gemstones are often confused for Diamonds in actual Gemology. Diamonds may be harder, but Moissanites are far more sparkly, which is why they're used as faux Diamonds in jewelry.
At the Moon Base, Peridot said, "This is so incredible. Only the most ELITE of the ELITE can enter these sanctums. We are literally walking in the very footsteps of the Diamonds!" and "You can't sit there! That chair is only for the MOST ELITE Gems, you can't go around sitting where an Elite would sit." So my theory is that Moissanite was one of these major elite and rare Gems. So elite that she was literally a step under the Diamonds in the Gem class-system.
She was sent to Earth to plan for the upcoming colonization once the Moon Base was built for her under Pink Diamond's name - which would explain why most of the structure's interior is white - and once Pink Diamond was shattered, she was forced to go down to Earth and joined in the finale war, only to be poofed and imprisoned to power the Pyramid Temple by Rose Quartz before the Corruption Light.

Bryan X not necessarily. pink diamond could have been shattered off planet, away from the light of corruption. we don't really know to be honest, so either way could be possible at this point. kind of just lacking information in general on the gem war to be honest.
But Pink Diamond was shattered before the corruption, so just like, from a logic standpoint, it just why will they say black diamond exist if we can't ever see it.

Becket Clark wait but didn't that diamond I think yellow diamond say that fusing with a type of gem that wasn't there own kind was very very wrong and pretty much banned and only people who protected people who were important would fuse so the diamonds would refuse or at least yellow diamond would refuse to fuse which means that they wouldn't be able to fuse so black diamond would have to be some sort of like the first ever gem right????and then of course black diamond would be God would mean she could make other gems so she would make only diamonds cause she probably didn't know about other gems so she would make only diamonds which means that for some reason she made all those diamonds originally she would probably would only make yellow diamond and blue diamond million years later she made white diamond and that would be when she vanished for some reason maybe white diamond was too much to handle to make her so maybe she just vanished and went into her just well black diamond gem and so of course the other diamonds would have praised or been afraid or both of white diamond cause basically she defeated black diamond so maybe white diamond and all the others except for black worked together to make other gems that is my theory

No lie, I was EXTREMELY doubtful of this whole "Black Diamond Conspiracy". I've always dismissed this theory because I thought there was no way and it was fallible. But then, I decided, why not just try a video. And this honestly opened my eyes. This is a really great speculation video, what with the evidence provided and the small details you picked up on. Idk, I just really like your perception of the video. I think the Diamonds really may have fused for the corruption song :o

I personally think that the reason why the diamonds are positioned so, is because of their gem placement. White diamond has a gem on her forehead, so she stays on top. that's why yellow and blue are on the sides (the chest placement) in both diamond emblems.
3:88 I think the mural of Rose Quartz fighting a diamond isn't a diamond in specific, but a generalization, or figurization of her disrespecting home world all together, and fighting the diamonds themselves.

I think the diamond in their emblem involes also their gem placement. White diamond's symbol goes on top because her gem is on top. Boue and Yellow diamond is placed on the left and right because their gem placements are located on the chest. And pink diamond in the bottom because her gem is placed in her tummy.

But what if pink diamond joined that fusion...would it be purple diamond...Or blood diamond, the fusion of all four of them would be gigantic, bigger than the fusion of garnet and amethyst, sure, alexandrite was a four gem fusion, counting sapphire and ruby, they were both very small, and their fusion was a 6 foot gem,pretty much an average sized man, so if all four of these diamond fused it would be even bigger if lapis peridot and the other gems INCLUDING JASPER fused, I believe that before pink diamond died,they had a plan to fuse with all four of them,but rose shattered her,they had to still do it though,i think that blood diamonds power would be just corruption,but worse, shattering,not with any weapon,but like telekinesis and using it to break the gem...

I wonder if pink diamond ever fused with the other diamonds. It seems like the idea of different gem fusion being a bad idea existed for a long time.
I think that the diamonds never fused before, but after the rebelion got out of control (the shattering of pink diamond), they decided to use the earth rebelion's power against them, and use a fusion of their own that will wipe them all out.
Pink diamond always stayed on her colony of earth, never expanding, i can't think of why would she even have a reason to come together with the other diamonds to fuse, especially with the taboo in place.
So TL;DR, I doubt there was ever a 4 diamond fusion.

This is another fascinating and interesting theory. And I absolutely love your analogy of Pearl Harbor/Nuke Bombs, though I think you had it backwards - Pearl Harbor is what caused the US to enter WWII after we had previously said we wouldn't.
But this is also a similar thought that I have, in that the rebellion was thought to be little more than a nuisance until Rose shattered Pink Diamond. I've made the analogy of Star Wars' rebels being a nuisance until they blew up the Darth Star and then the Empire took them seriously, which is what happened between Homeworld and the Crystal Gems.
I think it's obvious HW left the Earth alone because they assumed a lot of things - probably how they originally assumed the rebels wouldn't be a threat: 1. they assumed the corruption had no doubt destroyed the Crystal Gems and any stragglers of their forces. This actually makes sense as it would keep them from being take prisoner or keep prisoners from say, turning against them; 2. in case the corruption didn't work, they had been working on gem fusion experiments using captured Crystal Gems, and 3. in case THOSE didn't work, they used the info from their gem experiments to incubate the cluster. Taken together, the earth would be destroyed and as far as HW is concerned, they won.
This also explains why Peridot or anyone from Era 2 has no knowledge or understanding of the war or the Crystal Gems.
Of course this backfires because three CGs survived and were able to incorporate a 4th and managed to turn two of HW's operatives to their side.
And THANK YOU for going over that mural in Serious Steven. I've wondered about it myself, but admittedly didn't put anything in it other than this must have been a primitive tribe who drew out the story of a battle that took place, but I have always thought that the figure on the left was Rose. This would seem to state that Rose and a number of CGs, took on Pink Diamond on earth. Which makes me wonder if this is a depiction of PD's shattering.

I reeeally don't think that's a gen depiction of a diamond or White Diamond. I believe that's a fusion between the diamonds left to fight in the war (may exclude pink). The figure you say may be Pink is stylistically the same as the one you say is White descending on to earth, just in profile. The mural is meant to tell a narrative using pictures, and if it was meant to be more specific than what we see, it would be, as that's the purpose of narrative murals. The gem you call 'black diamond' I can agree is a fusion if it exists. Probably the same fusion as the other two depictions in the mural. But I have a tiiiiny issue with that. I don't think it would be there if we were never to see it again in the show outside of a flashback. Taunting us with something that powerful existing only to never be seen in-show just makes no sense to me. And by your logic, that fusion would require all the diamonds. Except we are MISSING a diamond. Pink is shattered. She's gone. That exact fusion can't happen without her. So that means that either Pink is still around in some form (shards? Homeworld wouldn't destroy her shards like a regular gem so unless Rose kept them they have to be somewhere in homeworlds reach) and will aid in reforming this black diamond fusion, or I just don't think it exists. I theorize that this all powerful diamond has the power to corrupt. It's the diamonds most powerful weapon and what they use to stay in control of homeworld and its colonies. But when Rose defeats Pink, the diamonds lose that power, weakening their authority. However, I believe they have a way to either use pink's remains or bring her back to remake that ultimate corrupting fusion, causing hella issues in the future for the Crystal gems.
He said that the Black Diamond fusion is between Blue Diamond, Yellow Diamond, and White Diamond. So no Pink Diamond included in the mix. If that is Black Diamond in the mural, maybe Pink Diamond was just too busy with other matters at hand (Rose) at the time Black Diamond would have fused and then corrupt the gems. Also, I think Pink Diamond was a newer Diamond, since she only had one colony (Earth), compared to the other Diamonds. Maybe she just wasn't included in the fusion because she was new or something. I don't know though! Just my speculation lol.
