Good video for all of the connectors. Two steps missing from the video. One is that you have to replace a holding bracket on the hoses in the front of the engine. The bracket comes pre-assembled as part of the kit. Just have to remove a 10mm nut to change it out. Second step was to remove one end of a rubber hose on top as one of the purge valve hoses is routed underneath it. Easy to take off with a pair of channel lock pliers, but necessary.
2016 fusion. Purge valve bad. The valve and tubes are about $115. Mechanic shop sez about $300 for the job. I ordered just the valve, no tubes (which are a bitch to install) for about $15. The tube connects to the valve by a shrink tube method. I just split the tube about a half inch and it detached. Reinstalled it on the new valve with some thick superglue and some aluminum tape. Check engine light went out after running the car a few times.
I have replaced that part, and I still have the code, changed the part under the car that’s on the rear under the trunk area still have the code, I’m missing one part but I cannot find it on a 2016 ford fusion se 1.5L eco boost it has two bolts holding it and it’s connect to some sort of the hose with a clip and electrical wire connected to it.

I have p1450 issues on my 2015 ford fusion titanium.About 2 years ago our mechanic replaced purge valve canister…About a month ago same issue happened again.And also After quarter tank I am hearing burping sound from my gas tank while I was driving.As soon as I hurt this burping sound I stopped the car and o insert my finger into the gas cap for taking the air outside from the gas tank.Another issue is also when I fill it up the tank the car don’t start at first..I try second time and start.Do you have any idea what is the main problem on this car ? Thank you !

Smoke leak test it first, check for bad parts. If you’ve replaced all the parts and the code is still not clear, then youre having wires problem.

How do you reset the engine light without that computer?
If you dont have a scanner. Go to autozone or oreilly store, ask them to clear it for you, its free.

Sounds like the charcoal canister and canister vent valve is bad, suppose to release some gas vapor pressure out of the gas tank.
The purge valve is bad.
Does the engine have to be cooled down to do this?
Its better to do it cool down.
