To truly understand the D-28 you must spend time playing it ! I understand that MARTIN on a run (about 12 units) usually would have produced 6 basic models and 6 with more exotic trim under one builder, quality is paramount with C F MARTINS !
@Notaluthier I have the same problem... I HAVE to use elixr strings or else the strings will be completely dead in a hour. My sweat is insanely acidic.

I do this with client guitars after new strings go on. I don’t want my corrosive sweat to eff up the strings.
