I sure would like to see your plane at one of the events in Eau Claire some time! Thank you for taking the time to create this video. Very well done sir!
Hey John I just subscribed to your channel I have to say your unboxing s and shakedowns are by far the most informative I have seen in a very long time and I enjoy all the information you give very much! Keep up the great work because I’ll keep watching! Also you have an awesome collection of vehicles I just started mine and I’m up to 4 on road cars, two helicopters and one drone! Thanks for all the information and detailed time you take in making your videos!
Great video john a good few hints & tips through out the build wasn't 100℅ sure would I go for this plane but after watching your video now I'm getting one well done keep up the great videos
I finally flew my B17. Watched your B17 build video a dozen times. Flies wonderful. I may split my tail wheel. I would use a flight mode for ground ops to get the extra throw but still just right for take off. I think I have a motor on the right side not pulling as much. Best,Josh Weaver
Yetterben, I appreciate your comments. In answer to your comments about actually flying, my hands don't work as well as they should. I'll be having surgery next month and hopefully I can start flying again. And yes my main passion in this hobby are the planes and trucks themselves. I love building them, and then admire them. they are beautiful machines. If my surgery is successful, I plan on flying much more this summer. When I first started in this hobby, I so appreciated the unboxing and build videos. They were quite helpful and I hope my videos are of some help to the new people in this great hobby. Wisconsin John
Hey Neal, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I sold this beautiful jet last summer. Someone offered me $100.00 more than I paid for it and I couldn't pass it up. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video though. Wisconsin John
Hey ,, Thanks for shooting the assembly 👍🏻 I realize it's been a minute but, I should have one on the porch Tuesday. I like all the paint work you have completed & as specially the nose pin. How did the maiden go ?? I can't find any info on your list ?
Hi good evening. I saw tonight this awesom video and I want one of this. What you thing about glassing the entire plane before built it with 3/4 fiberglass cloth and finishing resin a very very light coat? thanks for tour time and interest. Regarts Javier.
Hi Javier, I would not put fiber glass cloth and resin on this particular plane. simply because you would add to much weight for the size EDF motor. You would be better off putting a coat of clear Minwax Polycrylic (water based satin or semi gloss). It will help keep the plane from yellowing from the sunlight Good Luck. Wisconsin John
what up Jon... Man I tried to take mine up today and boy I couldn't get it off the ground....... I took the power system out of my Freewing Falcon F-16 90mm and It just wouldn't catch... Thank God I have a long run way so I was able to bail before the end of it.... I can't figure out what's wrong....
Follow the lighting wires to the motherboard, there you will see open connecting ports. I'm not exactly sure which ones are for the solid lighting. You'll have to do what I did, switch the wires around until you get the solid lights. I wish I could be more helpful, but that what I did. Wisconsin John
How did you get the position lights to be steady? I asked Motion RC and they didn't know how to do it. Nice job on this plane and thanks for your videos.
Hi Jeffery, I have since sold that plane, but if memory serves me correctly. You have to switch the wires around on the light module tucked away in the fuse. Good Luck. Wisconsin-John
pitot tube is a French word I believe. "Pee - Tow" I think is the correct pronunciation, I could be wrong about that, but pretty certain is pee tow tube.
the fit and finish has something to be desired....not a single straight line in the paint....plenty of overspray....a leading edge spoiler that sticks up about 3mm (roll issues that will change every time the speed changes) on the outer 2 inches.......loose screws rattling around in the fuselage.....that was just the unboxing. Can't wait to uncover all the other issues....$600.00
Where did you buy it from. They should take care of the problem or pay the freight back. It's really too bad, The T 45 is a great plane. I hope you get some satisfaction from the seller. Keep me updated. Wisconsin John
@@hangar3764 Hi John! In the process of putting together the upgraded T-45. It has the MCB-D and am wondering if you have a guide to hooking up my NX10 to this bird? Any ideas on programming would be much appreciated! ...thank you for any help!!! /mike

HANGAR 37 that's alright . I enjoy your videos . Keep making them they are awesome to watch and I find some of the hilarious
If your referring to the servo wire coming off the ESC, you would plug it into the throttle channel. Otherwise I'm not sure what you are referring to.
Great video...you wouldn't happen to have a shot of the red paint can with numbers on them like you showed the white would you?? TIA...:)
I stand corrected. I customized the "pee-toe" tube. It's hard to get one by you guys. Thanks Wisconsin John
I know this is an old video but do you have a video of all the radio mixing for this Jet?
thank you so much for sharing this!

The right main gear was missing screws....neither of the main gear covers fit even close to flush and are sitting cockeyed in the gear housing.....

pitot = "pee" "toe"
Junk. Flies like it's made out of concrete.
