    I am sooooo glad I still have my original 90mm Goshawk with slats!! I think the one with the slats is gonna be a classic model now since the newer version doesn't have slats !!

    This model is probably one of the most realistic planes from Freewing! What a beautiful plane!

    Amazing scale details! Weight to power ratio improvement should make it a great handling bird. Thanks James & MRC for bring this this new revision to all of us!

    This looks like a good upgrade/compromise. The V1 version was heavy and at our altitude it made it cumbersome. The scale details are awesome. Looking forward to getting a V2.

    Looks great James. Just might dive into it. Need a Navy Jet. The T2 Buckeye would have been great but this will do. For a Navy guy, perfect. I'll make the tail hook work also.

    Which is the difference between arf plus and the other version

    • @MotionRC

      ARF doesn’t have a motor, RX, Battery, ESC. PNP comes with everything but RX and Battery

    I have an old Goshawk kit that's 70mm balsa wing with fiberglass fuse. I need to get it built. This gave me a little push. I might go get it out. This is a good looking Freewing. So many planes so little time!

    Building one at the moment, and neither the manual nor you say wings are supposed to be permanently glued together. It is nice to be able to put things apart in case of problem, but I just don't see how that vent hole part will stay without glue ?

    • @MotionRC
      @MotionRC  Год назад +1

      The air inatke on the bottom of the wing? At 10:33 I clearly say/show you glue it in

    • @turboromy
      @turboromy Год назад

      @@MotionRC Ah, thanks. So, gluing the vent makes wing halves permanently glued together, doesn't it ? If so, I might as well, glue all other things. Or, am I seeing it all wrong?

    The main retracrs/oleos bottom out even without the weight of the battery in place, is this normal? Or are they adjustable?

    I had it, I also removed the slat , but the plane itself it's heavy and have a wrong gear angle ( near negative). Also the exhaust tube isn't straight but have 2 "bump" due to the speed brake servo and loose lot of trust.
    Despite of that it's a gorgeous plane, fly and land very well.
    For me the real good improvement will be remove the speed brake sistem and made a straight trust tube, and higher 10 to 15 mm the front gear ( I made on mine, more trust and the take off was a breeze ) 😉

    Sorry, in your video you wrote that the wingspan is 1138 mm and on your website it says that the wingspan is 1238 mm?! Which one is the right one?
    Otherwise, a very nice plane, I'm thinking of buying one! ;-)

    Wonder if I can get a response from motionrc , wondering if the new wing will mount the V1 if the only thing was done besides the motor. (Will the new wing setup mount the V1 body) ? I think they should've covered this typical question .

    I have this jet, but the gear extends or retracts after a 15-30 sec delay. Somethings it is only 8 secs, sometime 30 sec. I press the button, the channel outputs changes and then nothings happens for approx. 15 secs, then the doors open and the gears works normaly.
    Does anybody have a solution to this? Everything else works perfectly, so it cant be a connection issue.

    Great video but does not help if motion Rc has no stock

  • @cwwisk
    @cwwisk 3 года назад +1

    I do like stock inrunners. I'm sure this is a great flyer and for some people it is probably just what they are looking for. I don't like compromising scale components just to make performance easier. Leading edge slats, flaps, brakes, airbrakes, full-flying surfaces, retract doors, (folding wings on the Corsair for example), etc... I'd rather have a nightmare to set up that can behave true to scale than a simple unpack and fly plane that just looks scale from a long distance. I enjoy flying a scale experience, not just looking like it is half-way to scale. Also, please bring back the 90mm Yak 130...
