You may not like the command line but would you like to learn how to create your own GUI with a simple HTA file? This may be seen as a little reinvention of the wheel as MDT already does this, but there is nothing like your won custom GUI to met organizational needs and as will see adding HTA files to Windows PE is ot difficult

the microsoft/winpe/hta.html site cannot be found on your website. Did you take it down? Could you please either email me this hta code or give a new good link to the information discussed?
When I run this exactly as described I get an error when booting, winpeshl.ini was found but nothing was could be ran...or something to that effect. I though it was the %WINDIR% setup as what I read on TEchNet it uses %systemdrive%, but that completely fails for me. What am I missing?
Please send me the config files or point me to where I can get them thanks in advance.
how would you make the hta file pop up a 'select file' dialog so one could choose the file manually...kinda sorta how gimagex is?
What happenned to the hta.html download?

Turns out it works if I run the HTA from the command prompt so there is something wrong with the winpeshl.ini I think I'll work it out.
It's has been a long way since then and now WINPE STRELEC edition
