I have had a lot of interest in people wanting to add portable apps to their WinPE build and a lot of people don't seem to know how to do it so I thought I would make a video to show one way on how to do it with winbuilder. Make sure you want the first video on how to build WinPE with winbuilder.

Yo, Mr Britec, always a pleasure browsing your uploads, thanks, keep them coming, just to add as well an easier way to show .exe (file name extensions) instead of going into folder options to do so have a look at windows explorer menu bar (used to get into folder options in this video at 3:14) well its right there above hidden items check box, you will see file name extensions check box located in show/hide section of explorer menu bar, peace, have a nice day
I would love to see more on adding other Apps like Macrium Reflect 7, additional drivers, and VM clients...Thanks ahead of time.

Thanks, for the information, have not tried this yet but will soon. Glad your here!!! Have been following you for a month and have found your video's very helpful. The information you have provided in previous video's have help me to repair and fix many problems. I like your product reviews but unable to afford those items. Maybe in the future, of course their may be new one's out by then. I have recently ran across hard drive Raw Partitions, do you have any video's or fixes for this problem. Have been using Get Data Back to recover files but it would be nice to fix this problem. Thanks Again.

I always wondered how to add programs to ISO so when I install for example windows 10, the program that I want is already installed. For example chrome and other programs. Is there a way to implement programs to ISO image?
Great video. Would like to make an important question in my case concerning the most recent dell computers that come with raid as an active drive controller (intel rst active) and not ahci. The problem is that whenever i try to boot into these machines in a winpe environment with the Strelec package if you know that, in order to reset the admin password if i cannot log into it or just backup the data of a user into an external hdd before reinstalling windows if the precedent os is damaged and cannot be repaired, the internal hdd-s or ssd-s or just the os directories into the drives are invisible. I click on “This PC” and there’s only my usb visible and nothing else. I made a search on the internet and it seems it has something to do with the intel rst driver that abstracts the hdd from the os. Please help me, what should i do in this case in order to be able managing the pc even when the pc is unbootable or just the admin password is not recognized.
I'm confused, can WinBuilder modify an existing WinPE or can it only create a new? Also, I can't see the link to the first video of this series which you mention will be just up above but I don't see it in the video description. Still, I find this helpful. Thank you Bric. +like!
Winbuilder uses the WinPE that already exists on the installation media to make a customized version.

Good video, however, it seems there is more steps then needed. Since PStart is already in there, just use the PStart menu and skip the other because you have already added the programs into the PStart folder. When you make your WinPE, it would include all programs inside the PStart folder anyway.
No, you need to add the files to the directory
But your adding files twice. PStart saves any files to its XML file. If THAT is done, why would you NEED to add them to the winbuilder? I dont see it. I'm going to make a WinPE and see it actually will work that way.
I know what you're saying, but you still have to add the portable files in the WinPE directory or they won't be in the IOS to work.

Hi Brian when I turn on my Windows 7 ultimate laptop after the welcome screen it goes to a black screen no cursor no nothing just a black screen and I have to hold the power button I have to keep restarting until the desktop appears is the only way to fix this to reinstall Windows?

There is something making it delay. look in type in run mscofig and desibel all programs that you don't need it to start when windows starts. and also download Norton power eraser (it's free tool) to remove any deep viruses.

Great video, but I hope that you don't mind a bit of constructive criticism. I think that you need to go a little bit slower, and put a bit more explanation into what you're doing. For example, I don't know very much about PE, and I had to listen to the earlier part of your video twice in order to determine if you're working on an existing project, or if you're creating a new project entirely. Your viewers may not be as knowledgeable as you, so it may be hard for them to follow if cannot understand the steps you're doing on screen. Other than that, great video, I feel that I learned something, and I don't mean for my comment to be a burn in any way.

Yeah I understand that, but it can't be all one-way traffic, I have made over 1100 videos and probably 50 of them are product reviews, so it's not as if I have neglected how to videos. I know a lot my fans don't like the reviews, I guess when I do some giveaways no-one will want them products.
