at the beginning GDKP was a way for less than social people to see endgame content and make some gold or even buy a piece of gear they normally wouldnt get a chance at. of course humans being sh*tty are going to human and ruin it just like everything else. so there was some positives to GDKP. you didnt need to buy gold to get a benefit but Blizz not being able to stop/or care to stop the gold buying/selling part of this game as well as all the bots has made GDKP become toxic. so suppose its for the best that it goes away. sucks for semi casuals who arent caught up in the gold buying game. imagine people will find a work around for this anyways, probably using 3rd party websites and escrow. making it go underground.

So excited about the rocket mount this month. Close to 10 years ago I chose the Nightwing instead of the rocket for my recruit a friend mount. I have regretted it ever since. I don’t often say it, but thanks Blizz
Botting and gold buying Blizzard do NOT punish anyone for. Removing GDKP is going to have a huge negative impact on Classic as people will not be pugging as much leading to a vicious circle of less gear, less pugging, less loot, less gear....
The SoO mount was never gonna go on the TP, is my take. While you highlighted the Twitch promotion item with a tender cost, those weren't the only two items - there was also a Kyrian enchanting illusion that currently costs 2500 anima in-game, and the sky mirror toy that still drops in Pandaria from a rare spawn. It was just a bunch of random items that got flagged, most likely. All had way in excess of the monthly TP cap.
honestly the old ahead of the curve stuff should be available in timewalking versions of the raids, making it still a skill based thing to get perhaps even harder then the original, similar to some of the other previous timewalking special raid rewards
Prestige items (like mounts that are now locked out to those who didn't get them) - simple solution: change their colour set slightly, then put them in to be gained in various different (and far easier, maybe) ways. You still have the "bragging rights" if you have the original, but others still get a cool mount, just with a tweek to the colours. Simples!
2:40 One thing to note about getting your cut at the end, in most runs, you have to parse above a certain threshold to get your cut, if you parse a grey or in some runs, a green, then you won't get your cut of gold.
@@DadGamer247 What you are saying is if you buy gold and throw some around it doesn't matter how bad you are but if you don't you are held to a higher standard as a defense for gdkp's correct? I really wonder how they want to stop GDKP runs. Will they block the trading of Gold in Instances? People will find a workaround if the trading is blocked only inside the instance. If they plan to stop it by blocking goldtrade in Instances they must also implement a cooldown on goldtrade between the raids participants so they can't just trade outside. What do you guys think how they will do it? And do you think it will work out like Blizzard envisions it?
I love the long fabric shoulders that came in this trading post I hope they will release them in all the other colors that match the new hooded cloaks they put on there and hope to see more gear pieces like them in the future.
as someone that has been mainly pug raiding side shadowlands. everyone needs on everything they can. Then if they win they save to see if something else drops they can trade or try and force trades for items. sometime people get mad about them and will call it out in chat it the person wont trade most just ignore it.
The problem with personal loot in retail was in raid groups you lost the ability to trade gear to guild mates, which sucked. The could do it for non-guild groups but then gdkps will just join the same guild.
Thats a problem with the code. Not the system. They could Very Easily do personal loot AND let you trade gear. They could Very Easily let you trade gear thats higher ilvl than you have. They actually have to put MORE work into preventing you from doing these things by writing/copying hundreds of lines of code in order to execute these dogshit functions. @@keithb6344
The kor'kron wolf will 100% be part of this new "Timewalking Pandamonium" event. It seems to be a much more in-depth version of Timewalking where I guess people will be able to so SoO again and earn the Kor'kron mount as if it was current.
I hope that the pandamonium will also include the chance to play again through the whole war campaign of MoP (including Escalations which got completely deleted in WoD)
Allowing people to easily get things that used to be a hard task and very rare is just sort of the way WoW has always been. If I had a dollar for everything I struggled to get that they made easy and simple later on, I could probably pay my sub for a year.
You should make a video about the fact that new character models from WoD are now 10 years old just like how classic models were 10 years old before they gave the current ones. I'm hoping they actually try to make character models that can have full customization. Torso and leg size/length/width. Dimensions and position of eyes, nose, ears, lips, etc. Height. All within reason, so a gnome has a given maximum and minimum height range for example. Basically just what you see whenever you get the character creation screen on any new modern game or rpg, even older ones like all the bethesda ones would have this.
I really think with the PANDAmonium event it might be tied into the infinite dragonflight, we're replaying through different scenarios involved with the old god and seeing things from the perspective of the current lore, Yshaarj in Pandaria with PANDAmonium, Yog Saron and an Ulduar time walking event/ maybe the scourge event returns, Nzoth and BFA/black empire world quests, Ghuun and Uldir/ island expeditions, Cthuun and Ahn Qiraj/ call of the scarab
I don't believe for a second that they're truly doing anything to fight back against the bots. Even with click-to-move being a rather robotic looking action, it is painfully obvious when a player is a bot. Do they always jump exactly three times after killing something? Are they a hunter or a mage? Do they run dungeons over and over again for hours on end with four other mages/hunters without ever saying a single thing to one another? Do they even use chat _at all?_ You can't play Classic without tripping over dozens of them and their hunter pets, complete with the classic telltale sign: naming their pets "Boar" in mandarin. Either the devs and GMs are the dumbest people on earth, or they haven't even lifted a finger to analyze their player's behavioral data. Blizzard is gaslighting us with this message and hitting the snooze button yet again.
The funny part is everyone was all butt hurt over a mount that's 11+ years old that no one even uses anymore and I'd say 95% forgot they even had it to begin with.
I don’t think anyone cares about the actual mount, just the fact that unobtainable mounts are making their way back into the game for basically free. If you spent time grinding an achievement for a mount and then it just comes back in the battle pass then it kinda feelsbadman
Whoa people are upset that rewards they worked/paid for are being given out for free to everyone? In a game that's all about bragging rights? Nah, imagine my damn shock. It's not like some of the mounts are actual rares we pulled from the TCG ourselves because we've been supporting the game for decades.
I don't see the big deal with offering old mounts, I have a few a could care less if they ended up on the trading post. It's just pixels no one out side of wow will care.
whats wrong with Queen Calia? she's the daughter of a king and the last "living" - (yeh i use that term loosely lol) - royal line of Lorderon.. am i missing somthing ?
Honest question because I don't know... but what are the legitimate uses of trading gold in the game, particularly Retail? What would be the consequences of just... not allowing direct trading of gold? Sure people could still use the AH for RMT, but that's pretty easy to flag.
the new antibotting system is also catching alot of false positives, ppl that for example like to play the AH. or on SoD: ppl that use the neutral AH to move items at 1c across factions, get made if others buy those items - while it's their own stupid mistake to post them at 1c - and than start harassing and threathing that buyer to "give back the item or i and all my friends and guildies will report you and you'll get banned". combined with the state of Blizzards Cs system now after the layoffs, and the unwillingness of GM's to truely investigate instead of going "oh alot of reports, those ppl can't be wrong" can cause ppl to weaponize that report system, and other players to stop enjoying the game like they want. Those ppl moving items across at 1c should be less stupid trying to not having to pay the 15% cost, and remember that posting something on the AH dirtcheap will have the risk of others buying it. if they don't like it, they should post their auctions at a more normal price and just eat that 15% cut. and no, to buy items quickly you don't have to bot, buying can be macro'd and there are addons like AnS/TSM/PBS that can quickly find items that are sold way under their 'normal' price.
as someone who has a lot of aotc mounts, I would love to see stuff that people can't get normally, as a part of that monthly shop. If you think there is prestige in collecting pixels you can mount your character on (which you could pay gold for at the time), you're no better than gacha players who think spending money on pixels makes them better. I've sold many AOTCs with my guild for gold and its definetly not "prestige".
Doesn't the fact that you and your guild sell the carry for gold make it "prestige". If you take away the how you get it and change it..well...there goes the carries. If you take away the value of the pixels then what is the point of even playing games if you find fun in value.
Yes, thank you. Someone tried comparing ATC mounts with receiving a gold medal irl… Personally I think the Mount looks dumb & idk if I’d buy it if it became available. However, I wholeheartedly support the idea of removed items being made available again.
@@SkyClearswhat makes it a “prestige” mount is its rarity. Selling runs actually lowers the prestige, because more people get access to it. Not everyone needs to have value in their pixels. Some people can enjoy a game simply for the fun of it. We don’t care about how rare or valuable the stuff we get is. What we do in the game, and who we do it with, is what gives us value. That’s why we don’t care if an item we worked hard for becomes trivial to get.
@@Scuuurbs More people get access to it only for a set amount of time. If anything that ups the value/prestige of it. (Edit: by this I mean the people selling carries will make more gold.) The reason you do anything in life is because you find value in it. If you don't care how rare or valuable something is then you could agree that some things should be rare and valuable. Of course doing stuff with friends in games is fun but that sort of thing can just add to an experience. You should care if something in the game that you worked hard for becomes trivial to get. You invest your time in that thing and Blizzard has basically made the time you invested worthless and worth less.
@@SkyClears I am telling you that the quality of the time spent playing the game is the only thing that has value to me. I have mounts, pets, titles, that no one can get anymore, I have spent months farming for some of these things, and I would not care if Blizzard put them all up for free on a vendor tomorrow. Acquiring the items do not add value to the time I spent getting them. What adds value is the relaxation of playing a game, the stories of farming with friends, and I guess a little OCD happiness from getting to check something off my list. Whether someone else has the item I have, whether they worked as hard as me to get it, has ZERO impact on how much value the item has to me, or my enjoyment of the game.
@@sgtBONGwater If the price is going up it's due to increased demand or decreased supply you understand that right? And it's blizzard so it probably isn't decreased supply.
What if the Trader's Tinder Value for the mount is what is awarded to players who already earned the mount previously? Perhaps this is something they are considering for these short term events to reward players who have done the content before for participating. Just a random thought.
the legendary weapon still didnt drop. the more they buff it, the worse it is for people who dont have it. the bad luck protection doesnt help at all. if it reached at a certain point 100% it would make sense but i doubt it will.
Gotta love how a lot of people started crying about that wolf AOTC mount, yet they praised Blizzard for giving the recruit-a-friend mount calling it old and deserved. Having bragging rights thanks to a digital amalgam of pixels (For which you cannot claim ownership due to everything being online dependent) is the "new" form of plague in wow.
if enough people truly want any kind of DKP to be part of the game then another way to go about it. is to add a in-game loot option that automatically manages the loot and currency used to bid for items. however that would likely require some degree of effort from the developers to pull off. honestly my guild back in original TBC and WOTLK used a DKP system with an addon that worked rather well most of the time. since we regularly had to swap out members who couldn't make it to raids and/or people wanting to gear alts. but if they wanted to make a new currency that PuG's could use then something like the badge system from later expansions might work.
Or people could have just stoped whining. Classic is not retail, pugs are not meant to be a viable way for the avg player to get gear. The whole reason these servers exist is becuase people wanted to go back to a time when you had to form community. People just needed to join a damn guild and stop trying to play SoD like retail.
@@watchonjar SoD is kind of a cross between retail and classic with the runes system works though. but speaking from experience having playing multiple versions of the game it's not always possible to find or make a guild where you can gather 20+ people to raid regularly together due to various factors. sure early SoD raids have been smaller so far but who really knows if that will hold up at 50 or 60. however if they wanted to push people into joining guilds then adding extra perks could help that.
@@watchonjar also depending on how removing GDKP goes for SoD they might also remove it for other versions of the game. but it won't stop players from doing it or something else of a similar idea.
Don't know why people are getting upset because of old mounts being brought back into the game. It just gives more people rewards to go after. I mean, I held the original Loremaster title when it was from completing 3,000 quests back when you had to hunt like crazy for those last few hidden quests to get you over the top. Now it's from completing storylines in different zones where you have breadcrumbs leading from one to the next, so there are people running around with the title that had an easier time getting it than I had. But why should I care? I've not even used the title in years nor have I seen anyone else use it in about as long. Just let it go.
I think they ought to want more players pugging. But the logical result of the changes they made is exactly what happened. Players who don't need the gear are queueing for LFR just to bid on items and separate people who needed the gear from lots of real money. I don't see this as an incentive to try to join guilds that don't want them or don't raid according to random availability. More likely a lot of players are just going to give up on LFR and never raid in any way again. Why would they want to join a guild where the same grifters who expect them to swipe are going to be running the show? The reason raiding now has group loot is because Blizz can't admit it was a mistake to remove master loot from guild groups. The reason LFR has group loot is because they're trolling the people it is designed for. Bonus, selling wow tokens to buy the gear those people should have been able to earn if LFR wasn't flooded with grifters who only queued to squeeze real money out of players who need gear.
I'm not touching SOD till they unlock living flame. My mates went into that server and won't move and I cannot be bothered starting again solo. So working my way to 3.2k in retail lol
I like this option. People who want to spend extra money can do it without impacting player power, and people who don’t want to spend money don’t have to.
@@joshcal7370no fuck that we pay for each expansion and we also pay 13€ per month, nothing should be locked behind pay walls, every single collectible should be obtainable in game.
AOTC has literally meant nothing for countless expansions with people just trading gold for it since as early as Mists. I couldn't give a toss if they throw the AOTC mounts on the Trading Post, I say if its not from the main expansion at the time its fair game.
The thing is, as innocent as the idea of GDKP sounds, there's a much more nefarious side to it and that's RMT. There's so many people involved in GDKP that buy gold they almost become synonymous with each other. Honestly its funny to see all the people being mad about GDKP being banned saying they don't buy gold but the reality is, most of them are probably lying. RMT haas become such a huge thing that it's almost safe to assume a large chunk of Classic do it. I think its a massive positive change to the game. As far as botters, you have to destroy the market for gold and banning GDKP is part of that but harsher punishments for those that do RMT but thats gonna be difficult cause its no longer just 3rd party providers, players themselves that gain a massive stock pile have been selling thier gold over private Discord servers so I'm not sure how they're gonna combat it. As far as the AOTC mounts...honestly I don't see it as a big deal because people can just buy thier AOTC in all the raid content then and now anyways, sure its irritating for the people who earned thiers but there's alot that just bought thier carry.
I dislike Blizzard getting in the way of people playing the game the way they want. I also hope they revisit the amount of items needed per waylaid box. Since you can no longer turn in empty boxes I have serious concern about the viability of the cost per turn in.
Kinda ironic that GDKP runs where not really cared that much about till Blizzard started letting you buy gold from them. Maybe stop selling gold to players and we wont have this "too much gold' in the game problem, and that some of the stuff like people need stealing and trying to sell could just be solved by not letting someone that cant use it need on it, they already have something like this in place but it doesn't work half the time and sometimes blocks you from rolling on things you do need but the game thinks it's not your spec when it's a BiS for your class and spec. As well as locking the loot to the person as a boe when they do it so they can not trade it, or have to have a GM come in and trade it if it was a mistake need, like you used to have to do back in the day. Instead they got everything resting on a framework that only works if everyone is being honest and in a pug no one is being honest 9 times out of 10 those other randoms are going to hit need on everything even if it's your group and you are passing all loot but one item off to them. This happens in mog runs raid pugs, mythic +, doesn't matter. Yeah there are a few people that do actually look and check and pass stuff out they don't need, but the average player sees something they can need on, they hit need and vendor it and if someone asks they try to sell it. I know i have had to buy two of my bis healing items this patch from dps that didn't need the items that had better ilvl still getting to false need on them.
I'm both a WoW and Destiny player and while I do love Destiny, I have to say that Bungie went mad with monetization. The Battle Pass is a must if you want to experience the game to its full potential.
The lower barrier to entry makes me laugh. The claim is that "classic" environment actually gets more players because people want to be challenged. However, from what I see in every game is that after the initial hype is gone so are most of the people that supposedly wanted to these "barriers to entry" or "challenge."
With the new pres behind D4's practices all the way, I doubt anything will change on the loot bidding warcraft. Higher gold means people will buy the tokens to hold onto that wad of gold for a piece of loot they will replace within the span of a year. It's another avenue to suck money from weak-willed players, so I'm not holding my breath for any diminishing healthier changes.
its blizz fault that they allow bots for that quarter earning boost due to influx of bots getting banned and buying box prices and subs while leaving the gold mule unaffected, 2nd its blizz fault for making token for gold ,
Amazing how, if people would stop crying against QoL in classic/wrath (stb cata), they could have implemented the same style of raid lockout--by boss instead of instance--and completely eliminated the largest reason GDKP got big... forcing people to stick around until the end for the pay-out.
I feel like now is a good time to read the book How the Mighty Fall by Jim Collins. I’m afraid Blizzard could be moving into the later stages of a failing company. That doesn’t mean they aren’t successful to a degree, but go read the book and you’ll see the signs. The Blizzcon announcements and Microsoft acquisition can either signal returning to their core mission, or it could be grasping for salvation. Bringing Metzen back in sounds great, but putting an Activision executive at the helm worries me they’re going to move more into microtransactions and monetization. Either way, my sub has lapsed and I’m regretting that I preordered the next xpac.
Personally my money is on the idea that the skull and cross bones is some sorta of a pirate themed content patch, not unlike the Island Expeditions from BFA
Extremely depressing that Classic is getting all the coolest shit that they don't even consider trying out on Retail. The absolute best patches ever are going to Classic, a thing they also said they'd never change and keep it the same, since that's Classic and they continually change.
Whoa that loot selling is insane. That should absolutely be a bannable offense. If you immediately sell the item off then you didn't need it, so you used the wrong roll button. I don't know how that could be fixed in a way that doesn't involve needing human review other than bringing back personal loot, but I actually prefer the loot rolls. If something dropped that I didn't need with personal loot, I would either need to bother with rolling it off or if it's an ilvl upgrade but not actually an upgrade then I'd have to vendor it.
I really want them to introduce regional pricing. WoW is an incredibly expensive of game to play if you're earning money that is poor against the Dollar or Euro. I often cannot afford to spend money on all transfers and race swaps or store mounts (if I ever decide to buy one). Plus the Sub just gets more expensive for me and many like us due to the Euro being so strong against other currencies. I really hope they decide to reduce the price of some shop items and transfers and the Monthly sub. As of right now, I'm not subbed to WoW because of how much it costs PM for me. Paying 20-25 Euro for a single store mount or character transfer or race change is fucking insane.
9:57 i didn't forget it. it's been my main ground mount in wow since siege came out. i didn't get carried, my at-the-time guild and i progressed on siege together. i rode the mount in their memory. they should NOT be releasing raid prestige mounts on the store; the fact that you could pay for carries at the time isn't the point; it's still an important memory for a lot of people, myself included. if this had been implemented, it would have been very upsetting. i'm glad they confirmed it's not a thing but it scares me that anyone actually tried to defend it.
Blizzard shouldnt care about old players as its their minority now. Let people obtain prestige, challenge and etc. mounts/pets/transmog like Mop challenge mode. 90% player base didnt play in that time so why the fuck not. Who cares about that. People will be disappointed for a day then will shut up and continue in nerd playing@@msscott22
@@msscott22 I have a few of the AotC mounts. Not everyone is in a raid guild or can afford to get a carry for the achievement. That's my reasoning for it at least.

GDKP, Botting, and gold sellers are significantly intertwined. Any damage to one side of the triangle will impact the other sides. I hate GDKP and immediately ignore any player advertising that in the LFG channel.
ahh back to the old ways of pugin where you wipe one one boss and then ur tank or healer leaves and so the run is halted for 30mins waiting for a new tank and then dps leave while you're waiting then the raid leader ends it. Back to such a terrible pug system because streamers told ppl GDKPs are bad so now you have zero incentive to actually finish a raid and work with other players because thats "against traditional guild structures and social structures." There isnt ONE real argument that GDKPs are inherently bad for the game if you have issues with RMT they were always around WAY before GDKPs they will continue to sell gold AFTER gdkps.
It’s funny to me that people lost their shit over the thought of ATC mounts being available when they’re basically just participation trophies for completing the raid & guilds sell run carries so there isn’t much prestige to it… yet everyone also lost their shit when meta mounts - which require ACTUAL skill - were only available during their current tier. Part of me REALLY wants to see what would happen if the Black Proto was leaked in a similar fashion 😂
I agree with the trader complaints. I had the spirit of competition pet from the actual olympics back in the days, and I loved to show it off, and then it went on sale on the traders post which cheapened the actual item
This GDKP system may have worked but the revamped profession system is so bad and preferential only to players who can play all day, and has left many to not even use them…
I was planning to play sod exclusively as a gdkp player by leading raids. Since leading with a org cut means i usually are net profitable even with buying the gear... With this change ill be leading exactly 0 runs going forward and joining a guild so i guess in one way they have accomplished their goal with me...but it will reduce the amount of runs by half or more.
GDKP was a sub-culture. When it was this way, it was interesting. Just like gaming was a sub-culture many years ago... but when things change to mainstream wrong ppl start to be attracted to it and big sht happens.
I will not run SR or MS>oS runs. I took the game seriously and lost loot to people who don’t care, don’t perform while I helped carry the runs. Gdkp with people who earn their spot and I get something even if I don’t get any gear drops… way better. People even in guild are too selfish and too bad at the game for MS>OS loot.
tbh i think gdkp is the best system you can have strictly between players with no obligations to each other. killing gdkp will have almost no effect on rmt so i dont see that as a reason. it is 2024, if you want a loot distribution system that is sensible and fair, USE AI.

So excited about the rocket mount this month. Close to 10 years ago I chose the Nightwing instead of the rocket for my recruit a friend mount. I have regretted it ever since. I don’t often say it, but thanks Blizz
Heads up that there's a bad transition at 2:13.

Simples!
Or simply don't allow players who didn't do the original requirement get anything resembling it, simpler and how it should be..
2:40 One thing to note about getting your cut at the end, in most runs, you have to parse above a certain threshold to get your cut, if you parse a grey or in some runs, a green, then you won't get your cut of gold.
Wrong. If your a buyer they dont give a damn what you are parsing. If you really think that's how the best gdkps are ran you obviously have no idea

13:06 the team size may be larger than during Legion but that was still the best expansion yet.
I love the long fabric shoulders that came in this trading post I hope they will release them in all the other colors that match the new hooded cloaks they put on there and hope to see more gear pieces like them in the future.
as someone that has been mainly pug raiding side shadowlands. everyone needs on everything they can. Then if they win they save to see if something else drops they can trade or try and force trades for items. sometime people get mad about them and will call it out in chat it the person wont trade most just ignore it.
hmm do you think that offering personal loot drops that are class specific would help deter ppl from needing gold and from bidding in raid?

Good... if they can put up the TCG and RAF items... they can put the AotC items there too.
Allowing people to easily get things that used to be a hard task and very rare is just sort of the way WoW has always been. If I had a dollar for everything I struggled to get that they made easy and simple later on, I could probably pay my sub for a year.
Same.. It's disgusting policy they've been using since forever 😮💨
So silvermoon city will be part of the main map? Ill be able to fly from eastern kingdoms to the dragon isles??
no chance
"apart of the main map" doesnt mean no load screens.
Celestial steed was the end for me. I bought it and thought about where this was going. How much does a complete purchasable mount set cost overall?
Good to see the trademark Bellular head turns are still there. Still waiting for the asmon gold eyebrows feature

The funny part is everyone was all butt hurt over a mount that's 11+ years old that no one even uses anymore and I'd say 95% forgot they even had it to begin with.
No it's the fact that 95% of them don't play the game any more
I don’t think anyone cares about the actual mount, just the fact that unobtainable mounts are making their way back into the game for basically free. If you spent time grinding an achievement for a mount and then it just comes back in the battle pass then it kinda feelsbadman
People that didn't earn aotc didn't earn the right to access those mounts. It's a pretty simple concept.

Gdkp is not bad, gold buying and bots are bad. Using gold earned legitimately in game as a loot system is fine
4:55 O you mean whats been happening in LFR SINCE LAUNCH
I can’t find a link for the traders post data mined stuff you were showing?
as someone who has a lot of aotc mounts, I would love to see stuff that people can't get normally, as a part of that monthly shop.
Someone tried comparing ATC mounts with receiving a gold medal irl…
Personally I think the Mount looks dumb & idk if I’d buy it if it became available.
(Edit: by this I mean the people selling carries will make more gold.)
The reason you do anything in life is because you find value in it.

Pugs are not meant to be a viable way for people who dont want to get in a guild to get gear? Are all gatekeepers this stupid?
@@watchonjar SoD is kind of a cross between retail and classic with the runes system works though. but speaking from experience having playing multiple versions of the game it's not always possible to find or make a guild where you can gather 20+ people to raid regularly together due to various factors. sure early SoD raids have been smaller so far but who really knows if that will hold up at 50 or 60. however if they wanted to push people into joining guilds then adding extra perks could help that.
@@watchonjar also depending on how removing GDKP goes for SoD they might also remove it for other versions of the game. but it won't stop players from doing it or something else of a similar idea.
one thing i seen they have taken off the iron horde mount off the store
I think almost every single decision of the SoD team has been a major home run.
i feel like they dont want to have a 10.2.6 PTR for the surprise value it could bring
I'm not touching SOD till they unlock living flame. My mates went into that server and won't move and I cannot be bothered starting again solo. So working my way to 3.2k in retail lol
when will their new team give the dracthyr transmog and other cosmetic stuff players actually want

I would just be happy if they could make helmets and hat look good on worgen characters...
It's another avenue to suck money from weak-willed players, so I'm not holding my breath for any diminishing healthier changes.
and again... good news for SOD while confirming retail players will go on being fed shit but they still seem to enjoy the taste...
its blizz fault that they allow bots for that quarter earning boost due to influx of bots getting banned and buying box prices and subs while leaving the gold mule unaffected, 2nd its blizz fault for making token for gold ,
Lowering raid difficulty doesn't necessarily mean they want more pugs. I could just mean they think the raids are too hard?
left out that the gold is spread amongst the raid and the raid lead sets the loot rules
No, he said that in the video.
GDKP has not exsisted forever... Back in Vanilla there were no GDKPs at all. DKP was a thing, but not GDKPs.
So why are people upset of the wolf when the plagued proto drake is in bmah? What difference does it make? Plague is rarer than wolf.
Amazing how, if people would stop crying against QoL in classic/wrath (stb cata), they could have implemented the same style of raid lockout--by boss instead of instance--and completely eliminated the largest reason GDKP got big... forcing people to stick around until the end for the pay-out.
people are really mad about a 15 year old mount being on the trade post? Ridiculous.
Same people buy the shitty twilight skin for 30 bucks btw
Rather than banning gdkps, blizzard should ban botting who make the gold that gets rwt’d!
Bots are banned. They just make more
Personally my money is on the idea that the skull and cross bones is some sorta of a pirate themed content patch, not unlike the Island Expeditions from BFA
Simple solution just create an option "instance trade" lets you trade everything but gold
So many players didn't raid because they (didn't want to pay/didn't have) gold to get items.
"Prestige" mounts are fine, limited time ones are not. FOMO is 100% emotional manipulation and is unethical.

It’s funny to me that people lost their shit over the thought of ATC mounts being available when they’re basically just participation trophies for completing the raid & guilds sell run carries so there isn’t much prestige to it…

Blizzard needs to make changes to Blizzard... until we see those results, they will never recover the players that quit among the years.
Factor meals are really good as well.
