How are you able to pay, at the toll booth shown right before the video sped up? Also is cash accepted? Is there an option to buy your ticket to and from all at once?
The tollbooth accepts credit cards and cash. There is a similar tollbooth on the return side for vehicles. Passengers are free on the return trip (vehicles are not.) You can also pre-purchase your ticket on the WSF website: wsdot.wa.gov/ferries
$19 and $9 a passenger from seattle, $19 and $0 a passenger from the island. And 35 minutes. If you're looking for a longer ride, the Bremerton ferry travels 45 minutes. Same prices.
@@timothy468 awesome thanks, looking forward for a second visit to Seattle, we drove from Chicago, fell in love with the city and we can’t wait to go back
Wow. I've never been on a ferry nor did I realize that they go so fast. That thing has to be going at least 200mph. Also I didn't know people move 10x faster when on a ferry. The more you know. 😉
It's very expensive they say they have good service but it's the government they lie they are always late always late. And they're very very slow in boarding and unboarding. I get in line for the Fauntleroy Ferry at 5:15 and I get home to Southwest at 7:30. I used to catch the 6:15 and be home by 7:15. If time is something we have a whole lot of and you have a pocket full of money you might enjoy the ferry on a sunny day
Interesting!

@@thesaltworks1681 thx you helped alot!
@@thesaltworks1681 Do they accept Orca?
So do you just sit in the car or do you get out?
It's a persons choice. You can get out & walk on to the stairs. So you really feel like you are on top of big water.
Motorcycles accepted here?
yea usually they fit motorcycles and bikes into some smaller gaps in the ferry like by the ramps
How much does it cost for a vehicle both ways and how long does the ride take?

It's OK. There are a whole lot of people that will stand in a line for two hours just to buy a hot dog!
It’s expensive!
