Sweet kit. No question 3 blade prop!! Nice look for pics with drop tanks etc. But not for everyday flying. Looks like a well built kit but needs scale details like panel lines rivets and oil spray etc. Cheers thanks for posting this!
I just finished _the exact opposite_ sized FPV Corsair build on my channel, almost palm sized and fully featured. While I've been looking to get a "Big Brother" for it, this thing is so big mine could fit in the cockpit, lol. Lovely plane, (that gear!) and great unboxing coverage, JPC!
Well, I just won one of these at the Southeast Texas Warbird Rally raffle Oct 25, 2024. Will use GP 76 twin. Two blade prop. Callie graphics. All hinges installed. Really nice. Wish I could get this guy to weather it! There is suppossed to be a larger cowl avail to fit the Saito 3 cyl or any twin without cutting holes to clear the plug leads. Mine has no gear and was priced $1295. Came from Legend Hobby. How much was the one with the gear? Where did you get it?
Hi there is this worth getting? I have the smaller 1800 phoenix model one and it flys awesome but would like a big one so thinking about this what are your thoughts? Thanks
Awesome mate, would be great to show us your building process day by day to see how you bring her togather, set it up with the saito , lights, and servos etc.
Really nice unboxing and amazing plane. Seagull and legend have a real winner with this one. Good luck with the build! Im looking forward to seeing it come together!
I would do the drop tanks, and on my slow fly by around 6" ft. off the ground drop my tanks right in front of me and just keep on flying.. Just wing it, no big deal they are supposed to look like hell beatten out of them anyway...! Hayman great unboxing and keep flying....
Im currently building a Nexa f6f hellcat 60.5" once I'm done cutting my teeth with this build. My dream build is a giant f4u. I just found out about seagull planes, just today they have a beautiful cub model. This corsair is looking excellent! I personally want to go with a moki or ums 5 or 7 cyl. With a triple or quad prop. The saitos are awesome also but the moki is top of my list. Please let me know if this model can be outfitted with a moki. Id appreciate knowing if it will. I've been researching to the best of my beginner abilities, CARF is the only one i know thats large enough to run a moki or ums 250cc on. Any input would be very much appreciated. This is a sweet model and i would be a proud owner!
Brandon, I like the way you reviewed the Corsair. Can't really imagine the size holding it up to your Zero though! My old Topflight G S Bayou Baby was built from a kit. It took me almost a year and a half to finish. I made the Great Corsair Bet with Lomshivok1 and he is now flying it in formation with your Zero. I hope to see you and your wife at PGRC, MY home field the weekend of 23/24th this month. A few of us arrive early ( Wednesday) Before. PS we have a Hard Paved Runway 300' long! Krafty Neal Rehm.
Hey man, what is the system you use to hang those your planes? I now have to move my hanger to a MUCH smaller room (mother in law moving in😢). I have to hang them like yours to fit them all.
It’s shelf racking from Lowe’s. I get the top that hangs from a top cross bar then screw the cross bar and all the verticals to the wall. Use the longest shelf brackets they have and pound large diameter pvc over them
I love to see your amazing work and I hope to see a complete building of this. With painting and electronics and your amazing attention for scale details. I’m always impressed by your work and your video quality. Thanks for sharing your talent with us and for your hard work. I have one question ? I want to build a trainer model from a balsa kit . So I can do everything from covering to gas engine. I have built balsa boats and ships. I fly foam trainers electric ones. But I’m not a expert but I’m learning. What model is a great build and flaying experience. Thank you so much. Martin from Norway
Welp, don't mean to be too snobby but an ARF is... well an ARF! Maybe I might consider one if they made it available without the fake-looking covering... For now I'll just fly my beat up old Ziroli Corsair, lol...
Honest question. All of them fly. I travel to many flying events. This year I have run 2 gallons through my decathlon, 2 through the AN2 and 3 through the zero. The yellow extra 300 has flown once this year. The turbine A anti now has 6 gallons through it
About to start mine. Gonna need to fix the cowl. It looks so goofy oversized. I’d rather the saito 90 rockers stick out then have the crazy big cowl profile
@@JustPlaneCrazy it’s so off it hurts my brain. Almost bought the Top RC zero for the 90 and then just stick a eme 60 in the Corsair and clip the cowl. But I don’t need another plane. So I’m going to see if the 90 fits with a clipped cowl with the rocker covers off. Then I’ll just holes for the cylinder heads and paint them to match the cowl.
@@JustPlaneCrazy gonna be awesome. I had it already for my Top Flite Giant Corsair kit. I just don't have the time to build that kit yet and give it the attention it deserves.
I'd completely strip it and re-paint. I don't care for the hard lines on the camouflaged scheme. They should be soft feathered edges. That inaccuracy in the paint scheme sticks out straight away with me. It was the first thing I noticed as you were pulling the fuselage out of the box. Past that, considering its an ARF, it looks to be a great rendition of the Corsair.
Check the wall behind. So many nice models. Well built and price. None are perfect but you also aren’t taking 6 months to build one. Go for it. www.Gator-rc.com tell them I sent you
People that are interested in spending their hard earned money on a product absolutely would love to see what they would get. As far as talent, yup and hard work involved to make and edit. The tips I have shared with the modeling community will far outweigh your contribution of a garbage comment. But since you clicked it, I still got pd. Thanks
The Corsair is my favorite warbird of all!!! Can’t wait to see this one done!!! I’m with you on the clean look without tanks and bombs.

Will do
Really nice unboxing and amazing plane. Seagull and legend have a real winner with this one. Good luck with the build! Im looking forward to seeing it come together!
Thanks as always for watching
on the 300lx my throttle is on the left side of my DA50 with plul down and looking at it from front, did you swap linkage on that engine
???
I believe I did on that one
Saito for sure cant go wrong with it, and three bladed prop. Nice model!!!!
that would be my choice as well, 4 blade?
Beautiful looking airplane! No drop tanks or rockets!! Thanks for sharing!
That looks huge, this is going to be a great build and maiden. I understand, life always busy and takes the fun away. Have a great week. 🫡
You to my friend

A 250 in this model would def be way too big. UMS actually has a nice multi cylinder radial that a 90 which is nicer than the saito
Definitely a 3 blade prop. Warbirds look so much better with 3 or 4 blades spinning out front.
Beautiful Corsair I would fly it clean 🇺🇸
Thanks
Fly it clean, best looking plane ever made in my opinion.
Agree thanks for watching

Thanks for the offer my friend. I will have to see how my schedule works out. Would love to come down.
3 bladed prop, 3 cyl Satio radial 90, no drop tanks or misses.

@@JustPlaneCrazy Roger that. Thank a lot!!
Bombs and tanks are cool looking on a plane , they do drag your plane down and sometimes make your plane fly weird
Yeah. Agreed. Thanks for watching
Are the landing gear included or are they an additional cost?
The landing gear are not included in the kit but available
I like the clean look, no bombs.
Nice Corsair... im getting one completed and custom airbrushed...96" Ws, Moki 180s 5 cyl radial
That sounds awesome
I almost pulled the trigger on this plane. Looks pretty nice quality. A lot nice than the Hangar 9 version.
Can’t wait to see how it flys
Definitely looks like a beautiful kit, I'm wondering if electric would be the option also?
It has the mount and ability to go electric. Anything I ever do electric would get a Stingr belt drive system. This one def gets the radial
Just plain awesome Corsair!!!

I use the missles on my
hk-F4U corsair but leave the drop tanks off less drag
Yup I might have to get 1 of them I'd rather it be the all navy blue color but scheme probably easier to see flying
Probably right my man. This model looks nice
Just wondering after you built them how many times you Flying them or is it all for show?

Great looking Corsair
Very good unboxed Nice Corsair
I would look at a GP76 on video it looks like a foam airplane guess it’s the high resolution camera shows a lot of surface texture
Corsair! Im tuned in :)
About to start mine. Gonna need to fix the cowl. It looks so goofy oversized. I’d rather the saito 90 rockers stick out then have the crazy big cowl profile

Hows that Pitts coming along ??
Update brief at the end of this vid. It’s an elephant. One bite at a time. To answer your question, progressing. Just slowly
Always look forward to your videos, really great to watch. Please keep them coming 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank for watching and the kind words
Nice review
No mention of the price, I'll bet~!
Price is listed on the website. No point in telling someone something that changes year over year
Yes put all tanks erc on!
To answer your engine and prop question, Saito 90cc with 3 bladed prop.
Anybody know how much the controller cost for something like this???
It' nice. I wish someone would make a Grumman Goose.
That would be cool
For sure @@JustPlaneCrazy. I have loved that plane ever since seeing Tales of the Gold Monkey as a boy in the 80's.
Sweet model, I'm a electric guy so mine would be electric if I got one
I wish guys would learn that aluminium is spelt and pronounced al u min ium ...and NOT alume in um..
Veery good.❤❤
I’m going Saito 90 and Bella 22x12 three blade
Nice!
@@JustPlaneCrazy gonna be awesome. I had it already for my Top Flite Giant Corsair kit. I just don't have the time to build that kit yet and give it the attention it deserves.
Nice indeed
I’m going clean. No missiles or tanks
Thanks
3 blade would more scale.
Agreed

Very valid point. Gonna try and weather those edges together.
I say dress it up!
Thank you!
Buidl n fix my suggestion.
I want one!!!!!
It’s sweet right!!
I would leave the tanks off. They don’t improve flight characteristics, add unnecessary weight and complexity.
Agree
25 years of what?
I have been plundering on a sea gull model
