- Following up on the Godzilla Lost and unmade Films series, and the 3 different Godzilla vs Godzilla ideas, is the first of many Godzilla Vs Ghost Godzilla drafts. Written by Shogo Tomiyama for Godzilla 7, the seventh and final Heisei era film, that would eventually become Godzilla Vs. Destoroyah.

This movie would’ve been legendary. I like how it really tries to wrap up the hesiei era by tying it in a bow with the 54 film. Even though this movie didn’t get made I’m glad they still tied a bow with the 54 film with Godzilla vs Destroyah
This was awesome! Just the idea of a Godzilla vs Godzilla showdown where one is actually evil would've been very interesting. More of these types of videos, please!
It's definitely an interesting idea, and after hearing of Ghost Godzilla's abilities, I can only imagine how it'd play out on screen. It'll be nuts.
Though the one scrapped idea I find very intriguing was Godzilla vs. BioMonster, where Godzilla was supposed to fight a giant humanoid cyborg/robot and from what I've seen in the concept artwork, it looks jacked as all hell. Definitely one of the more interesting lost projects, for me at least.

Hey, really enjoying the coverage of these scrapped projects so far! A lot of these proposals took some serious time (and money) to get translated for Toho Kingdom, so it's nice to see them making rounds on the internet. The images and editing help to visualize some of these crazy ideas. I'm always on the lookout for these early proposals, and currently looking to share a few more on TK in the near future!

So let me guess this straight. Toho was gonna make a Godzilla movie where Godzilla fights the restless and vengeful soul of the 1954 Gojira that was killed by the oxygen Destroyer? THAT IS THE COOLEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD!!! I don't understand why Toho scrap that idea, that would have been the greatest Godzilla movie ever in my opinion.
Godzilla vs Ghost Godzilla would've probably been the BEST Godzilla Heisei film. I wish they could've done it.

As much as I love the final product, I would have loved it if they had taken inspiration from a deleted scene in Godzilla vs. Biollante: in that scene, Godzilla collapses from the ANEB, and Biollante morphs into a godlike entity that engulfs Godzilla and transports him into the sky. I think it would have been beautiful if Burning Godzilla had had a rematch with his clone, who would "ascend" with him to the stars just at the point of meltdown, with Godzilla Jr. shedding a tear as he looks up into the night sky and sees a new constellation form.
Man, that could have been an incredible movie!
I actually got more information about this movie or this unmade movie I should say the Godzilla defeated Ghost Godzilla but he was dying in the process and Godzilla Jr becoming the next king of the monsters or little Godzilla
This is very interesting and amazing because I really like the films idea of the original 1954 Gojira fighting the heisie Godzilla and possessing Little Godzilla’s body to fight the Heisie Godzilla that might be very emotional. I like the origins of how 1954 Gojira becomes a ghost after his death in the mortal world and terrorized Japan once again before possessing the body of little Godzilla or Godzilla jr.

If Toho actually decided to use this idea again, you'd bet it would be my favorite godzilla film.
Honestly I think Toho should still do that movie. If they aren’t gonna do Shin Godzilla 2, I think Godzilla vs Ghost Godzilla would be a great way to get the franchise going again. I could see it still working bringing back the Heisei Godzilla by time traveling back to that timeline to try and prevent a modern day disaster. At least that’s how I’d write it, sorta like how Mortal Kombat does with their stories.

I really hope one day this becomes a real movie because this just sounds amazing. The original godzilla that was in one of the most darkest godzilla movies ever fighting a much less dark version.
(Btw that design just looks so damn good of godzilla 1954's ghost)
Ghost Godzilla is an interesting concept, but the way it was finally actualized in _GMK_ has a lot more impact than the 90s movies would have given, imho

Ghost Godzilla while being the most wildest Godzilla concept, it would be too crazy for a movie. Think about how long it would be. Not to mention it would be very gory and would be considered an R rated movie. I really hope toho makes some kind of nod or appearance to the monster. A lust for vengance turned lust for power.
I think that it's cool as hell how they brought certain elements of these original movies' script/plot, into the MODERN day interpretation of the Godzilla universe (i.e. the "oxygen destroyer")👍💯

I like the potential here.......THIS one I would still like to see developed into an actual movie, someday. I think that Producer Shogo Tomiyama was on to something with this concept and after what Director Kazuki Omori gave us in GODZILLA VS. BIOLLANTE, this seems like an idea that he could have run with, with some imaginative imagery.
Missed opportunity to call him Ghostzilla .

Godzilla vs Ghost Godzilla should be taken place in an alternative timeline of the Heisei era
What 1954 has to go through is just sad bruh humans destroy trees and nature Godzilla was simply trying to get them to understand what nature is going through but they killed him he does have a pure heart he went to possessing little Godzilla to finish business to him resting and his bones getting placed in a robot where he can't control anything until it runs out of energy so I hope that we will see 1954 have a good life soon
