- The Alien Romulus Final Trailer is here, and we now know the name for the upcoming FX Alien series, Alien Earth. Lets review them and see whats new and whats worth talking about! More footage of Facehuggers, Xenomorphs and Weyland Yutani.
Romulus will prove that one can hear kids scream in space...
The TV series sounds like pure steaming hot garbage. Xenomorphs on Earth just completely deflates one of the fundamental tensions that runs through the entire franchise. This organism was so vicious and so virile, that if it ever got back to Earth that would be the end of humanity full stop and also very quickly. The idea that there is a xenomorph on Earth and it has been contained to the extent that it’s a well kept secret from the general population just makes the xenomorph seem so less significant, so much less threatening and dangerous. I saw quotes from Hawley slagging off the prequels and complaining about how they demystified the xenomorph, but Xenomorphs already on Earth before the events of any of the films does far more in terms of stripping the Xenomorph of its mystique. The idea of a third party creating the xenomorph always made sense because it was not a creature capable of human levels of intelligence. It had no culture, no language, it was an organism that whose sole purpose was to replicate, and in the most brutal way. Xenomorphs didn’t build ships, they could not operate let alone invent space travel devices so they must have transported by another intelligent species.
Aliens aren't Lovecraftian creatures that cause the end of the world by their mere presence. Alien had an aura of mystery in the 80s but not anymore. They are just monsters with an original design and acid for blood. I think you're exaggerating a lot.
I've always thought face huggers were way scarier then xenomorphs ever since I was a kid. they are like big giant hand spiders.

They will need to tiptoe around a lot of lore, if they are going with a prequel piece.
Alien: Earth breaks lore as does anything before the Nostromo setting down on LV-426. Its plausible that there were isolated incidents where no one believed a word of the survivors or the incidents killed everyone involved, and the way the company found out about the Space Jockey Race and the Alien. But honestly, the xenomorph was not known about by the general public at lesst until the events of the third film were concluded, as bad as that movie was.
Well, it’s already fucked! My number one rule in the alien franchise is the aliens don’t make it to earth! You know I don’t like alien three but the ending is good and aliens get to earth just completely screw up that ending! This completely fucked up Ripley sacrifice!
How can you review Alien earth?
Never cared for the concept of xenomorphs reaching Earth. The monster is best as a mysterious threat that is far out in deep space.
Honestly...Alien Earth sounds like a boring concept. The first two seasons of Fargo are awesome, the rest were really bad and fell off hard.
4 was mid but Season 3 & 5 were good. Just not as good as 1 & 2. I got faith in Noah with Alien.
