I will be adding this to my regiment....love the knee strengthening aspect as that is my problem area....gotta stay strong for bball.... appreciate the information.
There is this variation of sapata where you slide you foot back while going into dand . Ankit , rahul and a lot of guys on youtube are doing it this way. have you seen it? how do you compare this version of sapata with normal burpee on difficulity wise ?
I think sometimes we are to focus on what we know on our side of the world. I just found out about this exercise and my first thought was "ouch, that can cause some back troubles in the long run" It looks a lot like the half asses burpees that crossfiters do, but after I read a little bit on the subject, I´ve found out that this sapate exercise is a staple for conditioning on Indian wrestling. So, if they have been doing it for many years I think it works. Who would have said that crossfit was more less right, ja.
Great Work Champ 💪💪
Cheers bro
I do the standard burpee with a backbending stretch with palms together over the head after standing up.

No worries man, glad you found it valuable

Just do both. Both are equally good. If u feel boring with burpees, do sapate and vice versa

Yoo hope you’re still checking comments. How many sets do you recommend to start. So I gained a bit of weight, but my conditioning is decent.
Hey man do a test set, see on what number you are starting to breath heavy, then add 6-7 more reps to that number.
I lost muscle mass watching the quality of these push-ups
Yikes, bro. Serious back problems incoming.
Hey bro, this movement is super safe on back. I have been doing it for over a year now.
