Very interesting class about the usage of the blocks in yin / restorative postures, I'm loving it 💜 And very fan of your hair too 😄 Thank you for your positive energy 💫
Very clear explanations, thank you!! Just be VERY careful when you have the block high below the spine and you arch the neck towards the mat... Please be gentle with your neck, place a pillow below it to sustain it

Thank you, Ingrid! So glad you enjoyed. =) To answer your question, for restorative yoga poses, you can stay for 1-5 minutes as long as it feels good in your body. Using props for support is key. Some teachers and classes will hold the poses even longer but that's something to work up to. I hope that helps! Thank you for practicing with me - Ashton from YogiApproved
Hey MadeUpLikeADoll! Both props are excellent for any level yogi, but when you're just starting out (if we only could pick one), yoga blocks are an excellent choice!
YogiApproved.com Awesome! Also, bolster and blankets, are they needed? I found yesterday at Marshalls and Tjmaxx a slew of props, I was concerned I may have over invested, or purchased repetitive item's. The last items to acquire is a dual cell 5mm ⬆ yoga mat, blanket, bolster, and a diffuser-(I like aroma/scents)
These are all awesome props to have on hand! The bolster is such a wonderful restorative yoga prop. And who doesn't love a nice essential oils diffuser?! Enjoy and namaste :)
YogiApproved.com Thank you for the tutorials, and product recommendations recommendations that's featured on this channel, they've been most helpful. Namaste 🙏

Loved the poses and sequence, just wish the poses were held longer. It felt a little like an advertisement for that brand of yoga blocks.
Nicely done! I like that as flexible as you are, you show intermediate block positions rather than extreme. Thanks for a great instructional video!

Of course! And thank YOU! =)
I don't understand why we stayed 30 secondes in restauratives poses 😅 The poses were great but I never got time to unwind in them.
Always feel free to pause and stay as long as you want!! :)

Is this a good starting point for beginner Yogi's? Should begonners own both Yoga blocks and a wheel?
