Hello The gimbal tilting to the right can be adjusted in the Falcon gimbal app in the calibration setting, which let's you set horizontal level in the horizontal section of the calibration tab. There is also a section where is gives options to calibrate Static and Advanced Calibration. The joystick speed can also be adjusted in the Joystick speed tab, which has Slow, Middle, and Fast. The speed of the motor can also be adjusted separately by adjusting speed of motors in the Motor Response tab. There is also a joystick that can help remotely control the gimbal with the Control Joystick in the app. The app is very useful for customizing a lot of setting on the gimbal and the firmware updates also help the performance of the gimbal. The updates are sent out frequently, so make sure you keep it updated it by connecting it with your smartphone through the Falcon gimbal app.
Thank you for introducing this small sized, but quite powerful, gimbal. For those Osmo Action owners who wish to shoot in HDR, this gimbal is a blessing since RockSteady is not available when using HDR, and I do love the features that you demonstrated in this video (including its 360° feature).
With dewarp on, objects on the edges of the screen get stretched (lady with the hat at 1:17), while with dewarp off, it is fine but with considerable fish eye effect. Is there any middle solution?
Hi, your samples are in slow motion so of course it looks steady. But I saw a review comparing it to the Hohem iSteady pro 4. At normal speed the Falcon is a lot less steady. Have you tried the Hohem iSteady Pro 4 for comparison purposes? Can you post an honest footage of the Falcon at normal speed and normal walking?
It's a pity that Go Pro have not updated the Karma Grip gimbal to fit a Go Pro 11 with a media mod. THAT was the best gimbal at the time. The Inkee cannot not match the performance. On the Inkee I find the location and size of the buttons awkward. The main complaint I have is the panning sometimes is not a smooth pan. It starts off being smooth, but the more I turn it lags and then has to catch up suddenly. So, to me, it's a 4 out of ten overall. The four points scored are for connectivity, size, motor noise (None), and ease of operation.
Sorry to hear that Jarmo, the good thing of the Inkee is that it's ultra small. But if size is no problem for you, any other gimbal should do very well
The dji osmo action crops in only when enabling rocksteady or dewarp. If you're using a Gimbal you can disable those features and have a stabilized un cropped video. Just careful for the up and down motion while walking. That's the problem the pocket 3 has
I have 6 months of experience with Qatar Airways. It was 3 months of flying. I was Laid off. I am skeptical about keeping it in my resume. What do you recommend??
Not sure about the pocket 3 Scotty case, but the action 4 on a Gimbal will work incredibly well. You won't have any up and down motion the pocket 3 has, which is terribly annoying and looks bad honestly
For anybody watching this in 2024 or later, the Falcon Plus fixes almost everything negative ( 13:27 ) mentioned in this video. - It comes with a pouch for transportation (not amazingly perfect but it's something). - You can fit the GoPro with media mod. - The app now allows you to adjust motor and joystick. - You also update the firmware via app. They fix bugged stuff. The gimbal can now also act as a powerbank and charge your cam with an USB C cable (not included though).
I have an Osmo Mobile 6 gimbal and an Osmo Action 4 camera and it's driving me crazy that I can't use this gimbal with this camera. Why doesn't DJI have a simple magnetic clamp for the action cams that fits on the gimbal's mount?? You have to buy a completely stupid and laborious adapter from a third-party manufacturer.
It's a pain in the arse sometimes. The engineers behind the R&D of these products don't have to do videos and use the device, and don't know obviously what comes in handy! Anyways I'd buy something else, and use an arca Swiss adapter and plate. Best solution for universal mounts to everything you own
Hi there! I shared them once if I'm not mistaken, but here it goes again. D-cine like mode 60fps slowed down 50% Shutter speed at 1/120th (or better 1/200th for best rocksteady performance) Rocksteady on ISO 100 Use CPL filters and nail the right exposure by using a variety of them (8/16/32/64) depending on amount of light in the scene. Never ever use higher ISO or you'll sacrifice quality. You can use up to Iso 400 (before image quality starts to become horrible), but I never do. Color correct and grade in post. That's a super strong trick to get fantastic footage on top of some good footage you took already. I'll do a video of it soon, many times this question was asked. I think it's worth it
Hey I have the gimbal Falcon Yankee +. I shoot with a Gopro 9+10 and it is not so smooth in video shooting, you can see the jumps of the walk. How do you make the section smooth and good? Are you stabilizing the video in some way? software or in video software Thanks
Hi there! Nice comment! It's strange! I do what I do on video. I shoot in 60 fps and slow it down to 30 fps in post, I use the gimbal and the camera's electronic image stabilization. The results are fantastic and requires no editing software stabilization at all. Does this not work for you? Seems strange
Hi David, shutter speed in low light? Depends, if you want to have a real cinematic look, you need to double the frame rate you're shooting in, to your shutter speed. But if you're not panning much, there isn't a lot of fast movement in your frame, you can go down as low as 1/25 or 1/30 shutter speed. You'll get more light in, and a little motion blur. Just remember not to use electronic stabilization. It doesn't work well on low shutter speeds and will give you a horrible result. Best performance can be achieved by using a mechanical Gimbal. This way you stabilize it well, and get as much light as you can. When more light is available, you can enable ibis, and with that Gimbal you'll have extremely professional quality footage. Stabilized both left and right but so up and down. Better than the op3. I do this with my m43 camera on the zhiyun tech m3. It's formidable
Thanks for your review. Quite a difference using a gimbal along with rocksteady. I think I'll drag my old gimbal out to give this a try before considering the purchase. Thanks again!
@@WishCasting I ordered it. It's to arrive today. I can't wait! I think my smallrig cage might make it too heavy though. If so, I'll be looking for a lighter weight cage that still has battery access. Found one that I liked, but would have to order from China. No thanks. I have a 3 way mount that will attach at the bottom of the gimbal, so I'll use that. Thanks again for your vid! The gimbal is affordable too. ✔
Great video so thank you. I agree about they need to upgrade their software so it’s compatible with DJI Action cameras. I just purchased this gimbal based on this video. All the very best. Alan
The newer version of the Osmo Action has hell of a stabilisation, so the gimbal might not even be needed in most scenarios. Other than that, it's a good point. The fact of the matter is that image quality as a criteria to pick a camera is becoming less and less relevant. You really to neat pick these days to make a choice in that regard. It all comes down now to uses cases and budget.
It doesn't unfortunately. I think the newer versions might have addressed this issue, but I'm unsure. I personally don't care for the buttons. The gimbal does what it needs to do well, and that's what's important to me. But obviously don't buy if this is important to you.

I'm not sure. You should check the weight of both and compare (dji osmo action and ACE). The osmo action works on it with the cage and mic, it can work with that
Hi. Amazing video. I just have one question though. Can this Inkee gimbal be used with DJI Action 2 Dual Screen? I just wanted to know before I purchase Inkee. Thank you.
@@WishCasting yes very interesting move. I dont know what to think yet either, but as far as i've seen from the leaks, it doesnt look like a bad idea coz the only con is i guess the lack of a front screen for vlogging. So if you definitely need to see yourself while vlogging then you will need the additional touch screen module. I'm not a vlogger so i really have no idea if thats something you must absolutely have. i want to get this because i just want to make basic videos either on a selfie stick or gimbal (like your setup which i think is super cool) or in the sea or on a rollercoaster etc. so it would be totally sufficient for my pruposes and being even smaller and lighter (56g compared to 158g with Hero10) i could hang it on my neck like shown in the leaks. thats super cool i think. But I'm still super curious about the Pocket 2, as its even more compact. it has the gimbal and the stick all in one and totally pocketable. Of course it doesnt have the additional (and super nice) features of the Inkee gimbal you showed in your video but again for my basic purposes it would be totally sufficient. Just not sure if its waterproof so i dont think i can dive with it like you can with the Action. Btw, i noticed from the leaks that the camera specs are not as good as the Hero 10... Only 12MP (Hero 10 23MP), 4K 60fps (Hero 10 4K 120fps) and 240fps only at 1080p (Hero 10 2.7K 120 fps), etc - i dont know, its not really competitive. Excellent Presentation ((LIKED)): Between the OM5 and Ikee for the OA I am better off buying Dji OM5, as you said only a few things works for it. Which is smaller OM5 or Ikkee
I'm not sure, but other users have mentioned the Om5 too. Perhaps that's an alternative solution. I'm super happy with the inkee falcon. I won't be buying the Om5.
Well I've tried and tried and I can't get the FL Mode to rotate 360. I've double clicked M to get into FL, then double clicked M again but no luck. Have you got any other tips on how to get this to work? I assume in this mode the gimble with rotate the camera 360 or have I got this all wrong? Thanks
Hi Alan! Customer service should be able to help you in that case! Sorry you're having issues :/ I've heard of others having similar issues and contacted customer support and got it working
Unlike some reviewers you were honest about needing to use Rocksteady with this gimbal - with camera stablisation off, you can't walk with it without getting unacceptable vibrations. However I'm puzzled about your references to the manual and the app - you said you didn't use the app but then criticised it, and also you seem unaware of some of the features in the app which address some of your criticisms of the gimbal. And the manual tells you clearly how to use flashlight mode, and where to find the pouch in the box. It's in the bottom. And I think you said you've thrown out the box... anyway, thanks for the honest video examples!
Thanks for the comment Peter. Unlike confirmed products out there, my version is a sample, meaning that it is a slightly different model from the one you buy off of Amazon for example. 1) the app (updated to the latest version) is poor for not having an editor for way points which is what adds strong production value. I don't care much for other features, but this one is a deal breaker for me 2) I explored the app, and the motor adjustments do not make the movements slower at all. The movement inertia isn't affected at all when you change settings. And there are no other options to fix this issue 3) flashlight mode: at least on my manual, there's no information on how to enter this mode. It has no explanation on how to lay it vertical, double press M, etc. Again, my version is probably different. I can show you a screenshot from my manual if I still have it 4) my box had no pouch, I obviously unpacked every single part of the box before throwing it out Have a look online for other RUclips videos, other product reviews mentioned that they didn't know how to engage flashlight mode, they though it was a Gimbal problem. And they also complained about not having a pouch included in the deal. As this is a very new company/product, they clearly take very much into consideration what users say on their videos. Your product is a 2nd (sort of) iteration. My reviews are always genuine. I would hate it if someone ended up buying something they weren't happy in the end with Orlando @wishcasting
It won't on the camera, it could if connected to the Gimbal. It'd be a bit problematic though I believe. I can get away with a wireless go mic by rode, but wired is a bit different
for the same amount if money you can get a dji osmo pocket or pocket 2 for a little more, get a whole 2nd camera, larger quad bayer sensor, f1.8 and a great gimbal. and that package is TINY.
Dji osmo action is much more valuable in my opinion than a pocket. A pocket is a different type of camera. Not as versatile and much more fragile. Not to mention that its size is very limiting (quite tall compared to an action camera). I'm just waiting for the dji osmo action 2. EAGERLY!
@@WishCasting aren't a lot of those things true once you use a gimbal for the action though? the gimbal you are using is not waterproof or short, or small... that is what I am implying. cheers!
I got this combo, but the lack of compatibility is so annoying that I'm going to look for something else -- any recommendations for a gimbal I can actually pair and use properly?
It will change your life. It's the easy and lazy, yet productive way to shoot pro video without committing to it. You'll see, just try it. It'll change your way of shooting
Would the gimbal still be effective with additional equipment attached such as the receiver unit for a Rode Wireless Go? I know you said it will cope with the Weight but not the added bulk which may cause obstruction, is there any way to make it work as for a Vlog audio would be crucial.
This is such a great video!! I have ordered the new dji Osmo Action 3. Should I use Falcon or Falcon Plus? What are the main differences between the two? Thanks in advance.
Great video...... Can this gimbal function with all action cameras.... I bought an Akaso Brave 7 and I'm lost to which gimbal I should look to buy.. I don't like the quality of the Hohem .. I do like the quality of the Feiyu G6 though. However do the gimbal functions work with camera?
thank you! ☺️ The Gimbal works with any action camera. But the full compatibility is available only for gopro. I highly recommend it regardless. My videos are top notch now, and anywhere they are!
Yes you can! But I don't know what difference that will make. For vlogging yes! Absolutely. But not for filming places, you'd need a super strong light for that.
Beautiful cinematography at the start of the video. Wow! My user manual contains the flashlight mode. However, it does not give me proper instructions on how to connect my GoPro... Still, it's a decent product. Thanks for the recommendation!
whats your opinion on the Hohen iSteady Pro 3 Action Gimbal?. I too find it frustrating that as an Osmo Action camera owner, most of the functions lean GoPro biased
Usually I only use an action camera for an FPV drone, but sometimes I want to shoot from my hand too, so maybe that would be a great gimbal for my GoPro10.
Hello, have you also tried some other gimbal for Osmo Action since this video was filmed? I am still considering buying some gimbal for my Osmo Action 1.
@@WishCasting I'm also waiting for this :) but i was wondering if you could make a comparison of your setup (Inkee+Action) to the DJI Pocket 2? That would be awesome :) Many thanks! Awesome video btw. Really love your videos :)
The information in the video is magnificent! 👍The links to the gear are too complicated!👎 I click the link for the Gimbal and get an entire page of everything but the Gimbal. I would have ordered the gimbal right away if you linked directly to it. Anyway not a hater, and thanks for sharing
Thanks for the comment! I tried the link in the description and it works (directly to the product). Strange. In anycase, here's the link: amzn.to/3KvyLb6 Hope it works great for you! It's a super cool gimbal (note that the link is for an upgraded gimbal, I couldn't find the one that I'm using).
I hate that 360 spin thing. How to make viewers get motion sickness and vertigo in one lesson!! Way too artsy-farty for me. But does this thing attach to a selfie-stick for greater versatility in use?
Hi Dear , how You connect gimbal for DJI ACTION ? 🏆【Wireless Control】The stabilizer can control camera shooting wireless through wireless connection with a camera, GOPRO 5/6/7/8/9/10. NOTE: insta360 one R, Osmo action, and other action cameras can be physically fit, but Wireless control not be supported.
Excellent presentation - too bad you didn't have a GoPro Hero 9 or 10, so that the additional functionality which the Falcon 'may" bring to controlling these cameras could be incorporated in the video. I have a Hero 10 and the Falcon gimbal and while the side buttons sometimes work as indicated in the user manual - most of the time they don't - hopefully a firm ware update and some additional manual details will remedy this problem.
Hi there! There are several good options from the inkee falcon that came out after this one on the video, but I personally only use this version since its still working very well and never needed to change. If you want to earn money with your videos you need to upload them and get approved by companies that sell stock footage (Shutterstock, storyblocks, etc). However the type of video quality and requirements you need to follow are very stringent. You might need to read in their online guidelines to fine tune the content you upload. Also, an action camera might not make good enough videos for some platforms. It's best you check several options out there and pick the one that works for you

Great video, and super clear, plain -English explanations of everything! By the way, I assume you're Czech, you're American English is amazing...
Do you know if it can handle the weight of the insta360 one x2?
Thanks for this video - Just wanted to check on its compatibility with Dji osmo action 3?
It should, but not fully compatible since it's meant to connect via BT to Gopros only
Unlike some reviewers you were honest about needing to use Rocksteady with this gimbal - with camera stablisation off, you can't walk with it without getting unacceptable vibrations.
I don't care much for other features, but this one is a deal breaker for me
2) I explored the app, and the motor adjustments do not make the movements slower at all. The movement inertia isn't affected at all when you change settings. And there are no other options to fix this issue
3) flashlight mode: at least on my manual, there's no information on how to enter this mode. It has no explanation on how to lay it vertical, double press M, etc. Again, my version is probably different. I can show you a screenshot from my manual if I still have it
4) my box had no pouch, I obviously unpacked every single part of the box before throwing it out
Have a look online for other RUclips videos, other product reviews mentioned that they didn't know how to engage flashlight mode, they though it was a Gimbal problem. And they also complained about not having a pouch included in the deal.
As this is a very new company/product, they clearly take very much into consideration what users say on their videos. Your product is a 2nd (sort of) iteration.
My reviews are always genuine. I would hate it if someone ended up buying something they weren't happy in the end with
Orlando @wishcasting
Will the Gimbal hold a the Rode VideoMicro as well?
It won't on the camera, it could if connected to the Gimbal. It'd be a bit problematic though I believe. I can get away with a wireless go mic by rode, but wired is a bit different
Hi thank you for the beautiful video, can you use a gimbal with osmo action to shot in vertical mode?
for the same amount if money you can get a dji osmo pocket or pocket 2 for a little more, get a whole 2nd camera, larger quad bayer sensor, f1.8 and a great gimbal. and that package is TINY.
Now I would only recommend DJI Pocket 3, It's incredible
@@WishCasting That's on my wish list, but it doesn't have any weather sealing unfortunately.
True! Maybe one day, but it'll be really hard to develop!
Thanks for sharing. I also read that if you use a gimbal it’s better to turn off the stabilization in camera Correct?
I like the colors. did you edit the colors?
Been looking for this
It will change your life.
I don't see a response?😮
Did you know if the DJI Osmo mobile 6 works with a Dji osmo action 4?
Unfortunately not :/
What's the name of the merchandise
will the karma mounting ring fits to the inkee base handle? I want to mount it in my day tripper back pack
Can you compare this gimble with hohem 4
Thanks for the kind reply.. I've ordered one..
Would this support the osmo action 3?
Hello thanks for the video cuestión this gimbal will work with osmo action 4 ??
Everything works except for the bluetooth connection, only gopro is supported unfortunately
@@WishCasting thank you so much god bless you .
awesome video. Would you recommend adding a light for night video to the gimbal?
Yes you can! But I don't know what difference that will make. For vlogging yes! Absolutely. But not for filming places, you'd need a super strong light for that.
Thanks!
You bet! And thank you for the thought Donovan, thank you for supporting the channel! :)
How did I know before clicking that the video would be about GoPro? Because the Falcon totally sux with Osmo.
It's only a Gimbal for the osmo. But that's enough for me. As long as it's the lightest Gimbal on the market, I'm happy!
Will this gimbal work with an Osmo Action 3?
Can someone tell me why my Inkee Falcon gimbal doesn't connect to Osmo action 3 with Bluetooth?
BT funktioniert nur mit GoPro ab8
Beautiful cinematography at the start of the video. Wow!
My user manual contains the flashlight mode. However, it does not give me proper instructions on how to connect my GoPro...
Still, it's a decent product.
Thanks for the recommendation!
thank you! ☺️ I'm waiting for your review!! How are you? How were holidays?
@@WishCasting Well, you kept me waiting for this masterpiece for like a month. But don't worry, mine is coming soon, too. 😆
Here is my take on the Falcon. Not as good as yours, but at least it makes you look even better! 🤣
ruclips.net/video/l9oXiQZ3ylE/видео.html
whats your opinion on the Hohen iSteady Pro 3 Action Gimbal?.
I too find it frustrating that as an Osmo Action camera owner, most of the functions lean GoPro biased
start/stop via voice control and all is ok. ruclips.net/video/VXSkmsUnUiY/видео.htmlsi=vbwO1Fyo0tFdxlg3
Все видео замедленно в 2 раза?
Usually I only use an action camera for an FPV drone, but sometimes I want to shoot from my hand too, so maybe that would be a great gimbal for my GoPro10.
Is it available in India?
Hello, have you also tried some other gimbal for Osmo Action since this video was filmed? I am still considering buying some gimbal for my Osmo Action 1.
Do let me know if this is working fine with Dji osmo action
Any news about osmo action 2
If only I knew :( I'll be one of the first users to buy it that's for sure!
@@WishCasting I'm also waiting for this :) but i was wondering if you could make a comparison of your setup (Inkee+Action) to the DJI Pocket 2? That would be awesome :) Many thanks! Awesome video btw. Really love your videos :)
@@WishCasting CHristmas time is the Rumor
It's coming out before the end of this year
I can't say when as I've been sworn to secrecy
The information in the video is magnificent! 👍The links to the gear are too complicated!👎 I click the link for the Gimbal and get an entire page of everything but the Gimbal. I would have ordered the gimbal right away if you linked directly to it.
Anyway not a hater, and thanks for sharing
Thanks for the comment! I tried the link in the description and it works (directly to the product). Strange.
In anycase, here's the link: amzn.to/3KvyLb6
Hope it works great for you! It's a super cool gimbal (note that the link is for an upgraded gimbal, I couldn't find the one that I'm using).
What’s the name of the gimbal
Where do you sell your videos?
Maybe they can upgrade the gimbal to make it compatible with the Osmo Action. Not a fan of the GoPro TBH
Exactly. That's what I kindly asked them to do. Let's see if they do! ☺️
Thank you so much for this review
I hate that 360 spin thing. How to make viewers get motion sickness and vertigo in one lesson!! Way too artsy-farty for me. But does this thing attach to a selfie-stick for greater versatility in use?
Hi Dear , how You connect gimbal for DJI ACTION ? 🏆【Wireless Control】The stabilizer can control camera shooting wireless through wireless connection with a camera, GOPRO 5/6/7/8/9/10. NOTE: insta360 one R, Osmo action, and other action cameras can be physically fit, but Wireless control not be supported.
i wanto by this, but my contry not sale that :(
Check on aliexpress!
Really useful tips, cheers 💯
Thank you so much for sharing this video
You are a good saleman skill 👏 👏 👏
Amazon ????
Thanks so much , super rewiev👍
What great responses here from the creator 😂😂😂😂😂
Life has been tough last 2 years! I hope to return soon.
@WishCasting Well good luck 👍 and Happy New Years!
Thank you! Happy new year! We had a baby, got married, a lot on our plate :) But all good!
Excellent presentation - too bad you didn't have a GoPro Hero 9 or 10, so that the additional functionality which the Falcon
'may" bring to controlling these cameras could be incorporated in the video. I have a Hero 10 and the Falcon gimbal and while the side buttons sometimes work as indicated in the user manual - most of the time they don't - hopefully a firm ware update and some additional manual details will remedy this problem.
Great video, thank you 👍🏼
Amazing videos!!
Thanks! I appreciate it!
Amazing video thank you
use the Hohem Isteady 4 with remote!
Wowwww la VOGLIO!!!
Ahah! :)
Something smaller than this setup would be the Pocket 2
Indeed, but the pocket 2 isn't an action camera you can throw anywhere and know it won't break. I find it too fragile in my opinion. Not my cup of tea
How can i make money with it do u have a video?
It's best you check several options out there and pick the one that works for you
@WishCasting well what platforms do u upload yours too that make you money?
@WishCasting where do you upload ur action cam footage?
I don't do that line of business, it doesn't interest me. Adobe is a great platform, check it out!
@@WishCasting u mentioned in ur videos u do and sell these videos
Thank you for Prague))
MY FAVORITE CITY PRAGUE 🎉🎉🎉
hohem iSteady Pro4 i think is a litle better for GoPro.
