- In my opinion one of the greatest, if not THE greatest #blues #guitar albums of all time is #Layla and Other Assorted Love SOngs by Derek & The Dominos - today I tackle one of my favourite solos from this masterpiece of an album.

Wicked sweet playing!!!👏
Absolutely right John, every track is brilliant. One of my top 3 albums ever - I'd be taking this to a desert island.
Great solo analysis, thanks
Absolutely fantastic track from arguably the greatest blues rock album ever recorded! 👍
NIcely played for 'Anyday'! I hope you can pickup the boxsets with the jams, they are great fun. I was lucky in the 1970s to pickup a Canadian (only version released) double LP "History of Eric Clapton" compilation with several of the "Tell the Truth" jams on it. I think one of them is only on this on LP not even on later CD boxsets. I still marvel at how lucky were are that Eric and Duane converged in Miami completely by chance and this was the consequence, then only a year later Duane was gone for good.
You might think 'Thorn Tree in The Garden' is the worst track on the album but on some other albums it would be the best track 😂😂😂
