I love Milton Jones comedy. I find I spend half my time thinking "that's kind of surreal" then other times I'm thinking "that's so true". A master of his craft.
Milton Jones is the the best stand up comedian I have every seen live. He tells long intertwined stories and references back. really really clever and funny.
I've had a pretty bad day today, but this clip has lightened my mood. The combination of your soothing voice with the mayhem that is Milton Jones has hit the spot for me.
Sometimes the “cheesy” Simple jokes can be the most fun. They bring a smile into our life, they allow us a chance to grin or groan but they let us relax and for even a brief moment “open a crack” in the windows of our life allowing us to forget all the 💩y 💩going on around us. Thanks Ms. Amanda. Another fine presentation today!

Great Choice. The pity is, there are so few great comedians left these days. But the likes of Milton Jones, is so good, that you can still laugh at his performances, over and over. Thank god, and thanks to you Amanda. Lets hear some of Canadian Comic, Stewart Francis.
If you like Milton Jones, then you'll probably love Bill Bailey. An incredibly funny musical genius. Furthermore, he's very rarely rude. Says the occasional swearword, but nothing extreme. His humour is often broad, and usually wanders off into surreal whimsy, to great comic effect. Well worth looking out for. Similarly, the German comedian, Henning Wehn. Dry, and extremely funny. An oldie but a goodie to finish: the late, great Kenny Everett. A radio DJ, with a manic sense of humour. Great visual gags, and mad characters - on his shows, the crew could often be heard pissing themselves with laughter. Like Morecambe and Wise, celebrities loved going on his shows just to have the piss ripped out of them.
I once went into a coffee shop and said, “I like my women like my coffee.” The Barista said, “please don’t do this!” I continued anyway, “Strong and bitter…I bet you thought I was going to say something racist didn’t you?” He looked so relieved.
Maybe you should look at Mock The Week. Milton is a regular on the show and although often the humour is political it might a be good laugh for you. Many videos on RUclips showing Mock The Week
Milton is simply awesome. He plays the surreal “weird guy” perfectly, but off stage he’s a really lovely, intelligent guy. He knows so much stuff about so many things.
I had the privilege to see him and Simon Amstell live at Reading festival back in 2014 and they were brilliant (I thought) but “my other grandfather” didn’t…. so I punched him! Glad you liked his jokes even though they are cheesy like Blues Brothers or Airplane but it’s good cheese 😂.
I love Milton's comedy...he's completely zany! 😀 Another comedian you should watch if you haven't already is Tim Vine. He is master of the one-liners and is so friggin' hilarious! 😆
Some of his old ones (like from before the turn of the century),,, "About a month before he died my grandmother would smear my grandfather's back with lard - after that, he went downhill very quickly." This was the first time I'd ever seen him and I laughed so hard I nearly wet myself.
I like Milton, yes he can be cheesy, but a lot of his humour is well thought out and very clever. He did a lot of stuff on 'Mock the Week', very entertaining too. Love the Braids Amanda. 👍
As he did jokes about his grandfathers (I counted four) I was surprised he didn't do the joke about him going home and not being able to get in. Too many grandfathers. Love Milton Jones and his slightly surreal one-liners.
Re the 'Your house stinks' theme, In a longer version of this spot, he gets round to.... "Any aromatherapists in tonight ?"...... Silence ........"Shame, I had a good comeback for that one."
Yes, he’s a funny bloke. If you like his laugh, here’s a suggestion for you: try watching clips of Norman Wisdom. As a kid I used to be in hysterics just watching and listening to him laugh uncontrollably. Cheers Amanda.
I love Milton. What I like about him is his jokes are clean, hilarious and as the saying goes" You can be tell them to the bishop"Don't get me wrong I like the off risqué joke but I HATE comedians who tells jokes that have every other word as a swear word in them eg Roy Chubby. For me comedians /comediennes who don't rely on swearing in their jokes are hilarious and masters/mistresses of their craft.
He often has one joke that references a joke by a comedian that was on before him, in this case the grandfather that died in the car that Joan Rivers grandfather was driving (who died piecefully in his sleep, if I recall the joke).

Watch Mock The Week if you haven't yet. There are clips on RUclips and you can get selection of comedians including him. I'm not offended by sexual innuendo, swearing etc but he can be watched by all ages without parental censorship.
One of his stand up shows he pretended he was doing the show from different places, even though you knew it was in exactly the same place. He even went as far as joking about the set on stage and his name display, which he read incorrectly as Miljo Tones. 🤣

Well aren't you looking stunning today, very beautiful!!, hee!, hee! 😉 You also look rather cute too!, lol!😄☺ I see you still snort when laughing, that gets me every time, lol! 😂😂 Milton is ok but i tend to like comedians that have more of a story, give more context or make intelligent jokes, not to mention some good dark humour!, lol!😄 I enjoyed the video as always little lady. Absolutely love Milton lady..the fact he looks mad plus his delivery is hysterical to me😂
The one about the grandfather surrounded by his family is 🔥😂
Not heard of him before this. Definitely going to watch him again. Thanks for introducing him Ladyrae 😀 😀
No problem!!:)
True fact: Milton has more grandfathers (and uncles and grandmothers and fathers and.....) than all other comedians combined.
lol!
I saw Milton live, he was great fun and I couldn't believe how how puns per minute he was able to maintain for the entire performance.
brilliant! :)
Love him...just simple jokes but his delivery is so good...

Good evening Lady Rae, one liners are a favorite of mine as it is often difficult to predict the punch line.
True!
I've never seen him before. I'm now a Milton Jones fan. Apparently, I like one-liner and short-form comedians.
I love him, he is great. As the person below said, he is a master of his craft.

Amanda - Just seen something you would love - Peter Kay plays Queen on shovel guitar. Brilliant.
Ur hair looks so cute would love to see more, video was very funny too
thanks!
Never heard of this guy. But his one liners are quick
"I was in a club in Tehran the other day. It was full of women wearing headscarves dancing around their handbags singing 'Iranian men'"
Seen Milton twice. Preston and Blackburn y' know. Excellent. I also like Ellie Taylor and Sara Pascoe. Funny 😊
ill have to check them out
You're welcome. Liking your page (is that the right term) too 😎
Both times I saw Milton Jones with my sister..
Milton would probably think of a good punchline there 😅
First time l heard him 🤣 funny man. Well done , good pick. 🙂

Milton and Tim Vine are of a similar vein. The cheesy Dad quick fire one liners, more joke's per minute, hardly any set up time straight to the punch.
Milton isn't usually as quick with his jokes as he is here, he delivers them more slowly most sets.
