I love how that leads into his time as a shopkeeper, where he decides to put in time and dedication to making his dreams a reality instead of chasing absolute power the quick and easy way. With how a lot of kirby villains fall, its really satisfying to see one confront their own ego and outright reject the power corrupting them

I love the more triumphant leitmotif of “Under My Control” in this song. CROWNED represents the Master Crowns power over Magolor Under My Control represents Magolors power over the crown. And in the context of the Mistiltein fight, Magolor is taking back control from the crown

I like to think that the reason that Magolor's version of the Ultra Sword (Which I call Mistleteinn for differentiating) is comparatively smaller and less capable than Kirby's version is because Magolor not only needs a catalyst, but also because it runs on extremely finite energy and likely can only exist for a few moments and at best gets a single degraded swing. Compared to Kirby's version, which can be swung many times over and still have power to spare unless it physically gets knocked out of him. Then again, it is still a replica of a super ability. The real deal already killed a Godlike entity, the degraded one can do the same if Magolor puts enough oomph into it.
Honestly, this whole scene is one of my favourite finishing moves in the franchise because of how poetic it is. In the story mode, Kirby used the ultra sword to get Magolor out of the crowns control by destroying his body which only resulted him getting engulfed by the crown itself and now Mag uses the same technique to destroy the very thing that corrupted his existence by attacking the crown head on.
The Soul of Sectonia leitmotif being used here is awesome, love this new track! Edit: what makes this cooler as they are both “plants”, so like it just makes total sense.
I want to know what Kirby music composers get high on when they crank out this stuff. Like come on, first we have Forgotten Land's final boss theme Two Planets Approach the Roche Limit, then the struggle theme for Full-Speed Farewell, and now this and Tree Crown Without a Ruler not even a year after the release? It's a miracle they haven't burnt down their building from all the fire they put out with every game.
Saaaame. Little dude’s been my favorite Kirby character since I played the original 11 years ago. I’ve always wanted to see him get more love, wether it was through a future Kirby game or even a slot in Smash. And this definitely has satisfied that desire I’ve held for so long.
Never played the original so I just thought of him as another Kirby Villain. After playing the remake he’s easily my favorite Kirby Character and on my top 5 favorite video game characters of all time list
Ok, I freaking love this theme. It has the intro to the Soul of Sectonia version of World to Win, and has bits of CROWNED in it. And this also explains why Magolor has the Ultra Sword back in Star Allies and why Another Dimension was also in Star Allies!

I've heard the devs have said that Magolor is actually supposed to symbolize Judas, going through Hell to cut down the tree that housed the Fruit of Forbidden Knowledge to atone for betraying Jesus. His eyes were also stated to be yellow because it represents betrayal in the bible. This Kirby shit serious

I've heard the devs have said that Magolor is actually supposed to symbolize Judas, going through Hell to cut down the tree that housed the Fruit of Forbidden Knowledge to atone for betraying Jesus. His eyes were also stated to be yellow because it represents betrayal in the bible. This Kirby shit serious
