I think I will be a regular to this channel, I must say I really enjoy your videos. By the way, how much does it cost to get started with a workshop such as the one you have with all the tools and equipment?
Welcome to the channel, Alexandru! You certainly don't need everything I have to get started. I started with just a forge, anvil, hammer and a cheap grinder. I eventually built my own 2x72 grinder and then the hydraulic press and added more tools. In total, I have about $20,000 US invested in my shop. Thanks for watching and following along!
@@TyrellKnifeworks Thanks for your reply and keep up the good work!
Great video, always been a fan of the 300 Falcata, what were the dimensions and weight on the blade?
It’s 24” long but I’ve never weighed it. It’s one of my favorite movie swords for sure!
Thanks man, you have do amazing work, I just did a 721 layer random pattern Damascus 300 Spear tip for a retiring COL out of 721st Space Wing. The odd layer was a pice of mystery steel from a satellite in the middle.
@@T3_forge very cool!
really pleased to see someone forge the weapon out instead of just grinder cut it
Thanks for watching this build, Kushal!
Very nice work, I'm only starting to learn to use my mill....I need to learn to make better sword guards as they have invited me on forged in fire next season, but I've only ever made one short sword in my past, I am more of a knife maker
Definitely learn to use the mill! It’s my favorite tool in the shop. Good luck on FiF! You might be up against a few friends of mine. 😜
Beautiful sword, Sir!
Thanks!
Beautiful blade
Thanks for taking a look!
