@CelticDreammaker True, I always did fancy Paganism to be the more primal of the two old ways, and Wicca to be the more organized, but I also find that the Craft is more about the spellcraft and other 'witchy' things. It's hardliners that are hostile. I'm sure that you will find them in all walks of life and faiths. I am a Christian and I have a few friends that are Wiccan. While we don't always agree on matters of faith/religion we get along fine as friends and like each other despite our disagreements. I don't understand why so many followers of Pagan faiths display such paranoia towards modern day Christians. Sure, we also have our share of authoritarian assholes who love nothing more than to tell everyone what they should do, or else...but please keep in mind that the majority of us are happy to get along, even if we don't always understand each other.

@mithrandea look into quantum physics. You ever heard of the term "You reap what you sow", you get back what you put out, etc ? It's the law of attraction. Our Universe wouldn't exist without such a law. Humanity has been trying to make sense of the mysteries of life, usually via Religions or Science. Look at Taoism, it's very similar to what we've learned from Quantum physics. It's just different language or lenses. Peace!

Wicca, by definition, is a British, Northern Europe tradition. One with a family tradition of, say, Morris dancing or Fey Magic or something can call themselves Wiccan. One initiated into one of the British traditions like Alexandrian or Gardnarian can call themselves Wiccan. A family tradition of Folk Magic can call themselves Wiccan. Even a Pagan is one who is attempting to re-create a British, Celtic or European Native Religion or Tradition. They are not "make it up as you go" cop-outs.

As a pagan, from about 16 years now, i'm really tired of this comments of Christians everywhere. I'm European, I know things are a bit different here, but i don't see Christians condemnation anywhere. They think differently but they don't think that we are evil or something like that. How about sexual behavior is having sex with somebody of the same sex OK? Is it OK to have sex with Animals? Is it OK to have sex with somebody 16 years old? How about 14. How about 12. How about 10? How about 8. How can you be the judge of what is good or bad?
I find this very medicinal. By the way lol and sorry folks but christianity is the made up religion I`m afraid. Personally I believe every religion is just another language, we all speak to the same higher being or beings but in a different tounge. Yes I am wiccan , yes I have been since birth or at least since I can remember and each to their own. I believe it is what lies within each of us rather than what we preach, what we do or what we say and type down.
